Omg!!!!!!! The employees are super rude. They would not let me in because I was here are 2:59pm . Minded you , the open sight was still on and the doors unlocked. They spent more time arguing with me than what it had taken me to get the one thing I needed. By law they can not do that. " they are open to sell till 3pm , not 2:59pm. Oh and they still had many customers taking their time shopping after 3:29pm. I guess their site should say be here 20 min earlier than closing time. And on top of all this , the getto came out of them by yelling at me out the to being there early next time. Horrible customer service!!!!!!! I'd you do not close the door till exactly 3pm. Then how was it that I was able to enter with both doors unlocked? It wasn't until I entered that I was stoped by One of your employees. Thank you Tiffany L for putting on this lovely cooking school event back in late November! Have you ever dreamed of attending a cooking class to make DESSERTS? I do so like when the opportunity presented itself to make CAKE POPS, I was all over it like bees on honey!! Haha! The class takes about two hours. It is in a sound proof enclosure in a sterile environment so no bugs can get in your sweets. This young teacher is passionate about her craft and cares about the student experience. The techniques that I learned will carry over to my future cooking classes and beyond! Haha! I got some cooking swag in the end. I'm not a baker, but if I was, this would be my go to store! They have everything & I mean everything you need to bake. The store is clean and well maintained, which is a plus in my books. Me and my bf took a class with GiGi and she is srsly the most personable instructor we've dealt with. We've been to other cooking classes before and the teachers were like the guy from the clear eyes commercials, boring af. She made the class enjoyable! I highly recommend taking a class with her, she's super upbeat and will make the whole experience fun! Their pre-made refrigerated cakes are super moist, fyi for those lazy people like me, that like to cut corners (and act like they baked everything). read more

The girls in this store were super helpful! They answered my plethora of questions with a smile and helped me find all of the tools that I was looking for in order to make royal icing sugar cookies. I left spending almost $50, but I got what I needed without having to drive all the way to Orange County for CakeWalk Supplies. I will definitely be coming back and look forward to taking a class with them. I'm all about supporting the small businesses in our community, and this is one that I will be back for. P.S. If you are looking for strawberries DO NOT GET THEM HERE! They advertise medium to large strawberries but my box came with tiny little strawberries that look like raspberries. No one replies to their emails so now I have to go find bigger strawberries. read more

I was stuck last night in traffic. Was heading from L.A to Bakers Bodega. I noticed they where going to close by the estimated time I was going to get there. I wanted to get their IG specials. I called them up Ann's they patiently waited for me to get there. They didn't rush me out when I got there at all. I grab what I went for and they where so nice. Not rushing me at all. Everyone is nice and the store is very clean, neat, and organized. Staff is very helpful and nice. The cakes and cupcakes are so good, airy, moist and fluffy. We usually go in for cakes, cupcakes and pretzel sticks. This time I bought the pretzel sticks and decided to try the chocolate for them.. I am so happy I paid a little extra for the chocolate because it saved me so much time! The chocolate was so easy to work with, just a few seconds in the microwave in a glass measuring cup and I dipped the pretzels and they came out perfectly covered and no sticky weird mess.. totally worth it, and they taste so good. I've never used any of the cake fillings but I have tried the samples there, they taste really good. read more

I was very impressed on the great customer service they offer their customers. I was greeted an offered help I had one gentleman helping me throughout my whole shopping experience. He went above an beyond to make sure he answered all my questions an if he was unsure he went an found out the answer for me. What a wonderful event to spent on a Saturday learning how to make cake pops, special thanks to our host Tiffany L. and the owner Emmanuel Rodriguez and our cooking Instructor Gigi Atondo which was really cool with us and help us with a friendly smile. There were about sixteen students ready to learn, it was great meeting some new Yelper along with seeing some familiar faces. This place is huge inside with pretty much any and everything you need to cook or bake any type of a dessert to cooking utensils. As we were getting ready to get busy the very first thing we did was eat some cheese, crackers, meat, wine, soda and water the owner had left out for us. We all had a pre cook cake that put in a blender then used a Ice cream scoop to make some balls we rolled them into a small ball put a plastic stick in it then dipped each ball in white chocolate then decorate our cake pops. We took some group pictures and before we left our cooking Instructor gave each one a gift bag fill first with love then some cooking utensils. read more

I came to purchase some cake supplies this morning and when I arrived after 8am the store was not open. (Hrs 8am-7pm) Employees were outside waiting for the owner to arrive because no one had the key to get in. I was told that the owner would arrive in about 15 minutes, I was ready to go in and spend a very good amount on items but I expected the store to be open on time so I could be in and out. But instead I went to Deco paste in Arcadia and they were open and able to help me out right away with the items that I needed. This is not the first time that I have had problems at Bakery Bodega. Hopefully the management will take into consideration that people do travel some ways to get to their to location to purchase items that they need before work. read more

I was sad when the original Pico warehouse closed. Even sadder when I when I had been going to Anaheim and they were not very helpful and half the time didn't have what I needed. So i was buying supplies on line as time permitted. On a whim we came to this Baldwin Park location since we were in the area. What a happy surprise! The minute you walk in you feel welcomed and at home. Everyone is always very friendly, helpful and they are knowledgeable. It been my 1 stop shop shop for years now. Due to covid there might be a line and a limit to the amount of people allowed in the store but it's always moving and the ladies there make sure we are taken care of. This place has decent prices and good service, it's also not very big. The issue I had here was the line!! It was extremely long and moved soo slow. I'm not even kidding we waited about one hour and a half!! Which is ridiculous in my opinion having people wait that long, if I lived closer I would have just left. I did not expect this or I would have brought my sons stroller. So imagine carrying a 2 year old for an hour and a half! I get with COVID you can't have as many people in the store but that's a ridiculous amount of time having people wait so long. read more
