If I could give One Way Septic 10 stars, I absolutely would! Amy here, and I can honestly say this…read morewas one of the best service experiences I've had. The team was very professional, honest, and explained everything clearly from start to finish. Their pricing was fair, and there were no hidden surprises. If you need septic tank pumping, septic inspections, or septic repair in the Kennesaw area, I highly recommend One Way Septic. Tg!

I had them come out to pump my 1,000 gallon tank and was quoted 485 over the phone. The reason I…read morecalled them was because my bathroom had smelled a bit like sewer the last two days and then the morning I called them, the shower wasn't draining as quickly as it had. The last time we had the tank pump was 5 years ago so I figured that's what it needed. They have this bait and switch scam where they tell you it's going to be $485 to pump it but then they show up and they tell you there's an over full fee of $200 and if you happen to have any Kleenex or wipes in your septic system they charge you another $150 trash fee. So by the time you get your septic tank cleaned out it could cost you almost $1,000! They advertise $485 to get you in the door but then they jack up the price with extras. You're better off just to pay a competitor $600 and not get up charged at all. They will do everything for $600 and not add on charges. Ridiculous things. There are a lot of septic tank companies in the Atlanta and Douglasville area. Before hiring this company, please get a few estimates and don't fall for there their price. Gimmick to get them on your property. EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNER'S COMMENT: Has there ever been a routine? $485 pumping? I can almost guarantee the answer to that question is no. You use the $485 to get people to let you come on to their property. Once you're on their property you have a $285 cancellation fee if they reject your up charges and high pricing. You've got this scam really well figured out and I hope future customers understand what you're doing. It's very obvious. In the future I will just go with the middle priced septic guy and if they try to up charge me with trash fees or digging fees or over full fees I will tell them no thank you and call the next person. I think it's very shady what you're doing with this bait and switch pricing tactic. The only reason you gave me a $50 discount is because I told you that I would have to get some more price quotes from other companies before I committed to the high price with the upcharges. Only then did you quickly offer me a $50 discount. I knew if I didn't accept the offer and turned him away, I would end up paying your $285 cancellation fee. So yeah you guys are cheesy as heck and it's really sad. You should be reported to the better Business bureau and probably criminally as well.

The first company quoted me an absurdly high amount for a septic pump, alarm, and riser replacement. When I decided to go with Samples, they pushed back super hard in a very salesy manner, and then tried to tack on extra costs to the service they provided me (pumping my septic). After that quote, I had done some research online and thought it sounded extreme, so I reached out to Michael at Samples Septic. Michael quoted me $1,600 less than the other, and included an equal warranty, as well as electrical work that the top-rated Yelp septic company was not going to provide, as that guy said "I don't do electrical work." I'm extremely happy I reached out to Samples Septic, as their team not only had a better vibe, but they also offered a better service, at a fraction of the cost. It's important to find people you can trust to repair your home for a fair cost. Not only did they help with septic, but they also referred a plumber as I needed additional work on the pipes due to an overfilled septic that caused a blockage. I really enjoyed the plumbing company they referred. All in all I really enjoyed working with Michael, and he will be my go-to for septic going forward.

Initially, things went well, my husband liked Mr. Keith Edwards but when it came down to providing records, documentation of what was done, drawings, invoices and increased prices we were not given any of the basic deliverables. The slab was poured but it ran over and is shoddy work, the septic tank unearthed itself a month after they installed it. He doesn't return calls or texts and his office manager is of no support to get any proof of work completed or not. Try a DIFFERENT business and save yourself the headache. We contracted with them to do some work in our backyard and including repairing our septic system. They started the job on July 28, 2020 . That day they worked a couple of hours and didn't come back until a couple of weeks later to do a few more hours of work. This is after numerous phone calls and text messages. We continued to call and text so that they could either finish the job or give us our deposit back. They showed back up on a October 14,2020 only to do a few more hours of work and since then they have not taken any of our phone calls or responded to any text messages or emails sent to their office. We have sent a demand letter to their business and also to Keith Edwards the owner of the company and still no response. At this point we are left with no other choice but to file a legal claim against Georgia Underground Plumbing , Keith Edwards . Please do not trust him or his company‼
