I received a call from the technician, on-site, to find out they were going to charge me another $400 to dig up the tank. Keep in mind the original quote was for $325. They ended up charging $450 more to dig up the lid. They were using a mini-excavator so the work was simple and there should have been a minimal up-charge, at best. The technician was very nice and easy to deal with, but the company policy for pricing that type of work is ridiculous. We've used Skyline a good bit in the past, even for drain field lines on another property but will NOT use them again. They have been bought out by a larger company and don't have reasonable prices any more. I felt over a barrel and taken advantage of to do the work. The company that bought Skyline has also bought Hamby's Septic, another once very good septic company. Buyer beware!

We were getting about a gallon a minute and were completely worn out. When Nate saw what we were up against he pulled guys off of other jobs and had a sump pump in our basement that afternoon. I really can't say enough good about Nate and his team. I will never use anyone else.

He went above and beyond in every area to make sure I had working plumbing. He thought through my drain issue and continued working at it until resolved, no matter what it took. David thoroughly explained the work needed and addressed all of my million questions and concerns with such patience. He ensured the work area was clean once he was finished. Pricing was comparable for the quality of work received. The one area I would call out is contacting a call center to schedule versus an online option but the phone call does guarantee the appointment. I highly recommend them and would definitely use again. Thank you David!

I can not thank Robert Camp from Atlantis Plumbing enough for handling my plumbing emergency within…read morehours. We had an unexpected leak happen with our kitchen sink and Robert was able to effectively and efficiently locate the leaks and correct the issues. Not only that but he was able to help me gain more knowledge of my plumbing system as a first time home owner. Robert was able to answer all the questions I had In regards to ongoing concerns I had prior to him coming out to my home. Furthermore, I am so pleased with how my call was quickly handled by the young lady who dispatched my case. She seemed genuinely concerned about my issue and got back to me within minutes to inform me that Robert was on the way. While I did reach out to two other emergency plumbing companies before finding Atlantis. Atlantis Plumbing was the only company that took my situation as serious as I did and made sure to dispatch out someone to me in a hurry. Again, I can't say thank you all enough!

With water spraying into the closet, we quickly called around looking for a 24-hour plumber with decent ratings. Several of the more recognizable names in the area were not 24-hour, but Atlantis dispatched Tony S. with a 40-minute arrival time. Tony arrived, quickly assessed the situation and got the water shut off. Then, he went to work to replace the section of pipe. Suspecting a pressure problem, he ran those checks as well, ultimately finding the burst section of pipe was old and had weak or damage spots and the pressure was fine. He did point out some changes we might consider (previous owner had self-installed this water heater), but there was no high-pressure or dire warnings just to secure more work. Now, it was an emergency fix in the middle of the night, so I won't say it was cheap, but not sure what plumbing service is these days - we recently had other plumbing work done by another company & our jaw dropped at that bill. Tony was fast, friendly and got us back in business. We may have a new go-to plumber.

Incompetent Den of Thieves. They charged $750 to clear a drain that clogged the very next day and…read morerefused to return without an additional exorbitant charge. This is their "business model": try to charge over $1000 to snake a drain (we "negotiated" down to $750), then video the results and use it to pitch a $5000 dollar excavation job (that would destroy shrubs, not replace them, dig a trench, swap out a segment of pipe), even if all of that is not necessary to solve the problem. Take a look at the picture in this review, captured from their own video. They left the jobsite having cleared barely 1" inch (if that) of the 4" diameter pipe. That tiny black hole in the center is what they cleared, and all that junk above are roots that encroached into the pipe. Justin Connor, the technician, used a spade head to clear the tiny area but instead of changing the snake head to use a sawtooth root-cutter and clear more of the pipe following the video, he simply used the video to pitch the $5,000 job described above. When we talked to Justin's boss, somebody named Herman (last name not disclosed), they were completely dismissive, emphasizing they have no warranty; not one, single day. Avoid these guys like the plague. They are dishonest, incompetent thieves. The company appears to be owned by somebody named Tom Miller (ref: Georgia Sec. of State). ------------------------------------------- Update in response to owner Miller: "Once you have roots we stop"? Wouldn't it be ethical to inform customers of this practice before you take their money? "No ones [sic] sewer is worth a finger". What does that mean? These drains are not cleared by hand. Electrical snakes, their attachments and hydro-jetting are used. "There are a ton of things that we could use to remove the roots but in this case it wouldn't be cost effective." For whom? For YOU because it wouldn't enable you to take even MORE money from customers? "faking outage [sic]"? Nothing fake about it, Mr. Miller. How would you feel if a (presumed) professional took $750 out of your pocket and his "solution" failed the next day? "Hope someone else is able to service you." Someone else WAS able to do the job - clearing the tube completely -- with no excavation or pipe replacement. I think you make my argument for me. Thank you.
