Loan officer who pre approved me knew I made commission at my job for the past 5 years she pre approved my loan but kicked it out 1 week before closing. Mind you this would have been my second home purchase wit the same Employment history. I went back home to my credit union Ascend FCU they approved (for 10k more and no PMI) no I have a wonderful home. This lender was recommended by my realtor who I felt was trying to get me to move to a certain part of Atlanta based on my ethics background. All this is my opinion of course just this is my individual experience and still I lost $1500 so I am very upset.

I do feel they didn't believe that I could get as much as I believed I could for my house, but guess what? I did and in just a few days. To be honest, that kind of annoyed me. I think we could have even gone higher if we waited for another week or two on more offers or listed higher. Our friend's realtor thought we should list for even more than we did, but that is just speculation and who really knows. Overall, it turned out okay. The buying side was okay too, although we picked out a new construction so I can't review how the agent would do if taking us to look at houses or finding houses for us. Anyways, overall I would give them a 4 out of 5 in that regard. However, recently we had an issue with the inspector they referred us to. I then found out the inspection company they used was related to Lemoine. This was not disclosed to me, and I do wish it had been because in general I probably wouldn't have used them then. Now that we are having issues with this inspection company who I believe missed very important and easy to find things that thankfully are covered in our warranty or that our builder agreed to fix (example: missing drip edge, missing caulk), I am disappointed in the Lemoine team for referring me to a business that conducts themselves in the manner I believe this inspection team is doing. Therefore, I can not recommend the Lemoine team for referring me to this inspection company and certainly not if they continue to associate with tthe inspection company.

I even called equifax to verify I did not have any type of block in my credit file. Eboni nor Karen Hatcher were consistent with their communication. And after two weeks of waiting to hear back about my application they sent an email about "moving forward with another candidate" but didn't even communicate with me so I could fully finish mine! They are not helpful at all during your application process and I believe they pick and choose what applicant they want to move forward with for PERSONAL reasons. Not first come first serve.

There are several service packages to choose from, depending on your needs, and you can always chose to upgrade but with no pressure to do so. I chose the basic plan and could have even added a Suprabox lockbox if I had needed to. That's a huge perk over a regular lockbox because then you have more control over who's accessing your home. With 1st American there were no hidden costs, everything was straightforward and transparent and they are located right here in Atlanta. Brittani was awesome and amazing. Specifically, her staging crew made the house look amazing and on-point for selling; her handyman performed repairs to the house quickly, efficiently and at a fair price, and last but not least, one of her team members took charge and managed helping us to sell the majority of the items left in our mom's home on Facebook, managing the entire process "sale-posting to pick up". As if that wasn't enough, she also staged and managed a yard sale to help move out the smaller items, and then took care of donating the balance of the items!
