For a few weeks my Anton Schneider Black Forest Cuckoo Clock from Germany quit running. After…read morereading several good reviews I took it to a clock repair shop near Orlando to get an estimate for repair. I was told the repair price would be around $700.00 to fix my clock. I did not have the work done and took the clock back home. After checking online to see if this clock was still available I saw that it did increase in price since 2017 when I bought it, but it was $645.00 which included Custom Fees and Shipping. I tried another Website which sells the same model and it was a similar price. I also found the Website had authorized Cuckoo Clock repair shops and found one in Orlando which also repaired the clocks at the German Pavilion at Epcot. This was SOS Clock repair. I had a similar experience as another reviewer when I called the owner of SOS Clock Repair and told him what I had and problem, he walked me through and showed me how to fix the problem myself. He did mention eventually, possibly 20 years, I will need to have the clock oiled professionally, but now it appears to be working great after talking to him on the phone for a few minutes. SOS save me an incredible amount of money. Thank you so much. These people obviously really know what they are doing, and were willing to help me, even at no benefit to themselves. They have gained a very loyal and thankful customer!

Just considering the name I almost walked passed this shop since I didn't have any timepieces in…read moreneed of repair, fortunately after looking through the window I decided to do what I thought would be a quick walk through. This little shop apparently started out to be just what it's name states but has grown into so much more. The owners here are so welcoming which I found to be very refreshing, I have visited a number of clock shops over the years and have found the owners to be so focused on their craft that they come off as pretentious- definitely not the case here. This quaint little shop is filled with things from the past, most seem to be of higher quality but there are somethings that may have slipped by the owner's keen eye and are displayed for those of us collectors that look for the lesser valued items that are so rare to find in our field of collecting. I feel I have a decent eye for things of value and rarity so this visit although I didn't find the treasure I was looking for provided me with the anticipation all collectors live for. I definitely will stop in again if in the area.
