I was asked to sign with a suggestion of a tip. The first time I used applianceville I was so impressed at the professional service. This time not so much. The truth of the matter is this company is not qualified to fix anything. I dropped off 2 pieces of…read moreequipment for repair. Jackson took a $64.50 deposit and informed me that parts would be extra. That sounded reasonable. When I picked them up the bill was for $259.00. What a shock! It included $210.00 for labor which I was never told about. I had to ask about the deposit and was told that Jackson never writes it on the invoice, you claim to be the owner shouldn't you know what your deposit policy is?( Scam Alert). That's not even the best part, the equipment they repaired doesn't work. It constantly stalls out . My question is what did you fix? Do you know what you're doing? I think not! I've called and left a message without a call back. Now my next step is challenging the charge with my bank because I didn't receive the service I was charged for. My advice is find a repair shop that can correctly do the work.

This was my first time visiting this local jewelry shop, and I was very impressed. I came in to…read morehave my watch batteries replaced, and the owner, a kind and professional lady named Carol, did it very quickly. The price was also quite reasonable. I recently saw a negative review supposedly written from google review by a so-called doctor, who harshly criticized the shop for offering a low price for gold. It's shameful for someone with such a background to use his voice to curse a small business owner who is simply trying to earn a living. Is it really appropriate to make such hurtful statements? From my understanding of the jewelry market, buyback prices are typically lower than the market rate due to various costs. I simply asked about the buyback price for a ring and was offered around 20% of the original price, which is completely normal in the industry. Carol runs this shop by herself, and she deserves support, not disparagement. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and there's even an adorable, chubby dog that made my visit even more pleasant. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this store for its honest service and fair pricing! I also wish them continued success in her business!
