We were excited when Adele announced Yelp is hosting an International Supper Club at Papa Brazi. Papa Brazi looks like a small store front but once you walked, it a lot bigger than it looks. There are several large TVs with Brazilian broadcasts and pictures of Brazilian towns and cities. There is a small stage for musician in the front! The owner, Marcello, put a lot of effort to simulate the Brazilian setting! This is sample of some of popular Brazilian street food. To start off, we were served with Passion Fruit Drink and Cashew Juice Drink. The Passion Fruit Drink was little on the sweet side but as we let the ice cubes melt down a little we got an excellent drink. The Cashew Juice drink or known as Caju juice, tasted sweet, pleasantly tart and tangy almost like pink grapefruit. Wife loves that Caju juice. Next, come three large plates of sautéed Sirloin with onion, sauteed chicken with onion and a mixed of chicken and sausage with onion with load of French Fries or Fried Yucca. They were savory and delicious! A Brazilian hot dog, was next in line. A hot dog packed with two boiled frankfurters, potato sticks, corns, peas, sauces and quail eggs took the hot dog to the next level. As Marcello explained, different Brazilian region has different combination of topping, so he named this one Papa Brazi hot dog! After the hot dog, cups of mini Coxinha or pear-shaped fried dumpling with shredded chicken, seasoned with spices and filling are delicious! For dessert, Marcello served us with a classic Brazilian chocolate fudge ball called Brigadeiro. This is a Brazilian signature dessert you don't want to skip! It is that good! Throughout the evening, a Brazilian lady from Orlando was entertaining us with her Brazilian music. We have a great night with good friends, good food and good time.
