Thin crust, sausage, meatball and onion

I find myself to be difficult to get five stars, I don't give out as many as 4, and luckily more than the bottom 3 combined. But enough about me, this is about our trip to Baked in The Forum in Fort Myers. We will trade to try good pizza and a 26 minute drive is worth the shot to find what looked like something good. So this Friday, we called in an order. Friendly phone staff, had me add more to my pizzas because, it's included. We got a thin crust, nice crispy bottom and edge, sauce was really good, thick, you can taste garlic and olive oil and a nice cheese blend. the pan was a deep dish with a regular pizza not a gargantuan amount of cheese hiding under the sauce. Look, I am sure their deep dish is good, but we tried the pan, and it seems different. Great dough (I think it's a different dough from the thin, but that would be crazy. both loaded with toppings, got home still hot, crispy, if this pizza reheats well, its one to beat.

If you want good Italian food that won't break your budget then this is your place. They have a special running daily - their Happy Hour is well worth the price and surprisingly they have a rather large craft beer selection. The servers are hopping back and forth with food and drinks so you won't be left hungry or thirsty. The selection of dishes is wide from pasta dishes to appetizers, sandwiches and more!! The family casual atmosphere brings in all sorts of folks to this location - they have a pretty steady take out as well. But the main reason to visit here is the amount of food you get for the money. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana with Penne pasta and their meat sauce which all I can say is the meat sauce stands on its own as a dish!! There were chunks of meatballs and sausage with a not too heavy sauce done very well and tasty. Whatever you are craving Italian wise you will find here - but don't expect or be disappointed if you don't eat everything on your plate because the leftovers are the what you will be having afterwards that heats up well!! For a nice low key casual dining experience with food you will enjoy while there and then later at home that won't burn through your wallet this is your go to place!!!

!st timers Wowed by their Deep Dish Pizza !!!

Food is fresh;only premium ingredients Portions are more than enough for 2 people A small house or Cesar salad is generous enough for people and then some Pizza crusts are amazing Deep and Pans have a "high-rise condo crust" that keep all customers coming back; some since the soft opening 7 years ago ! Everything offered on the menu is equally as delicious and generously portioned Presentation will make you want to take a photo !

Great food. We each ordered a different deep dish pizza as we wanted plenty left over. We had the beer nuggets which are deep fried but so, so tasty! Service was good. The name recently changed to Baked.

We are excited to have a Chicago Pizzeria in Fort Myers. We watched the installation of Buddyz sign in November and noticed a sign they will open on December 5, 2019. Went there a week later about 11:30 AM but it is not open. They are open only from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM until the kitchen staff are fully settle down with their operation. Went in today around 5:30 PM and the place is full with 2 or 3 waiting for their take-out order. That is a good sign! They did some renovation from the old Il Forno. Gone are booths and take-out counter. Now there are 5 huge TVs so you won't miss any sports actions! A heated cabinet for take-out order and cashier is by the front door now! A much better utilization of space than the old layout! The staff is incredibly friendly. Buddyz specialized with Chicago Pizza with good selection of salads, sandwiches, appetizers and pasta limited to spaghetti and Mostaccioli! There are wine and beers available! This is our first time here so we ordered local draft beer High 5 IPA and a thin crust 'The Mag Mile' pizza pie with sausage, green peppers, onion and mushrooms. The pie is perfectly baked with the right amount of cheese. My wife was eying the Italian Beef Sandwich on the next table and wanted for her next visit. Meanwhile I was checking if any table ordered any beer nuggets or toasted ravioli. Will be back for more and perhaps the deep dish pizza!

Smaller spot with some outdoor seating near The Forum. Ordered a Chicago deep dish pizza (10 inch) and also had truffle fries as an app. Good and filling! Definitely plan to return. This was my first time have Chicago deep dish, so I didn't have much to compare it to. My partner said it was "very close to" what he's had in Chicago. Check it out if you're in the area and craving some pizza!

Sears Tower deep dish. My husband is contemplating the attack plan.

So youz wanna Chicago pizza in Florida?? Look NO further! Excellent pie! Superb calamari! GREAT service! After we ate we waited for the rain to stop (not) and one of the 'Buddyz' (bossman) came by and chatted. This is the first time in SW Florida this has happened...this guy KNOWS. Very pleasant! ( a lot more pleasant than the RUDE customers behind us trying to play lord n master over the poor 16 yr old waitress...that kinda rude is just sooo out of line) Treat yourself....you deserve a GREAT pie and some GREAT appetizers! (1/2 off 3-5 except the calamari)

Decent pie with really good ingredients, but a little too thick a crust for me. Tasty though...

Solid pizza. It's my go-to when wanting Chicago style in Fort Myers. Pretty good effort on some of the Chicago-style sandwiches too.

Plenty of parking and there's also a gelato place right next-door if you want ice cream after. There's not very much seating in this pizza place you can definitely grab and go. There's maybe two tables near the front entrance that I saw. It also has a pretty cool free library and aesthetic was pretty nice for how small it was. They have a couple of sliced deals, or you can order by the pie. They even had some vegan options. I ended up ordering two slices and a drink, which you can choose a canned soda. I ended up just giving a sprite to someone else in my party. The two slices was quite nice, you can only choose from a list of the pizzas for it to qualify. One of the slice options, though is the chef's daily inspired specialty. Though when I asked about it and the chef was not in currently, so couldn't fulfill that request. It's all good though. My two slices were the Yo Paulie & the Ricotta Loves White. I loved the combination of those two flavors. The ricotta loves white had a nice texture to it and that cheesy flavor. The Yo Paulie had a sweetness to it. I could definitely eat a whole pie of the Yo Paulie. The server was actually so nice and gave us some pepperoni rolls to try. And boy did those things slap. It's almost like a cinnamon roll, but with pepperoni and savory.

Amanda was the cashier and she went above and beyond to take care of customers. As soon as we walked in, she noticed some leftover dishes on the table and immediately came to clear it up for us. Another couple was already dining in and she checked on them and made sure everything was okay. The workers at Fine Folk truly are "fine folk." You can tell there is a level of care here. Service had a very personable feel to it - I would come back just for the service, but the pizza is excellent too! Amanda was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She explained the lunch special offerings and helped us decide on the right size pizzas to get. Now, I'm no vegan, but I was impressed at the wide selection that they had of vegan offerings. They have lunch specials which feature a slice or two of various pies, come with a drink, and some even include a pepperoni roll. We tried the pepperoni rolls and they were fantastic! They were large in size, crispy on the outside, and had great garlicky and pepperoni flavor. It was served with marinara sauce and finished with a Parmesan and herb topping. I ordered the arugula and prosciutto pizza to share with the group (14"). It's a white pizza and was served with a lemon to squeeze atop. I loved the soft and chewy crust and various flavor combinations. If you're into spicy, they had several spice blends varying in heat level that you can add to your pizza. This is a great pizza spot in Fort Myers. There is a rewards program that you can sign up for to rack up points and redeem for deals (which you should, because I know you'll be back). I'm a fan of Fine Folk Pizza!

However, our server Emily said they had a large lunch rush and that they have been steadily busy since opening July 2025. We also love wings, so we ordered 10 lightly tossed with hot sauce. Like other reviews, I can confirm that the wings are large, juicy and meaty. The hot sauce wasn't terribly hot and had a bit of a sweet taste to it. The accompanying ranch dressing tasted home made. Our pizza was a meat lovers with extra cheese. Toppings included Sausage, Pepperoni and Bacon. It was very meaty. But, the best part of this thin crust pizza is that their crust is crispy, which we love after living in St. Louis for many years. In fact, if they used provel cheese vs mozzarella, it could stand in for a St, Louis style pizza. Very tasty, we loved it. Emily was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We met the owner who is the cook and she was also very friendly. We loved the signed bills on the wall, so we added one of our own. We will look for it during our next visit.
