I've driven past a few times and today I'm delighted that I stopped to try them out. It's breakfast o'clock and there is table service so take a seat and someone is right with you. They get it right with taking a coffee order right away, do I look like I need one? Well I did need one and lucky for everybody it was made promptly and delivered with a smile. Today I chose the Big Breaky Burger. I find it hard not to give these a try everywhere. I noted on the menu some additional ingredients that you won't typically see. This burger was clearly of a higher class. When it arrived (which was surprisingly quick, I guess they are quiet today, but awesome) the presentation was pretty eye catching. I blurted our something stupid and incomprehensible to the waitress. What I meant to say was "that looks awesome" and "thank you". Let's cut to the juice. The coffee is great, smooth with no bitterness! The bacon is delicious, maybe a light smokey flavour and crisped to perfection. The burger is made on a fluffy brioche bun as it should be. The avocado was generous and had a slight lemon flavour like they cared for it delicately begins the scenes. I love this place after one visit! I'll be back, and I'll bring other people. The tea wasn't bad, but I was a little disappointed that I got looked over for breakfast, and anyway it sounded as if I was going to be waiting quite a while anyway. There is a lot of seating available both inside and out. It is a basic café by which you take a seat and look over the menu and order at the counter. All of the menus on the tables are very worn with the laminate almost completely coming apart. When I arrived it wasn't too busy. After receiving my table number I proceeded to sit back down. I didn't have to wait long before my coffee was dumped on my table and the runner gone from sight. The coffee was not good, it tasted as if the coffee beans had been burnt. On the up side the food also didn't take long and I was presented with my Eggs Benedict with bacon. This wasn't the best meal I've had, but not the worst. The eggs were hot when I smooshed them open which is a plus, although they were slightly overdone and not as runny as I like them. All in all, a little disappointed considering the obvious popularity of this cafe. The prices are reasonable and reflect the meals :)

Great for families and friends who want to share a few dishes in a casual (think: fast food) environment. It's certainly not going to win any decor or ambience prizes, but I like the family-friendly atmosphere and it hit the spot when I needed lunch in a short time frame. Order and pay at the counter and then take your wooden spoon table number and set up at one of the many tables. I shared two mixed plates of mezze (felafel, kibbeh and other fried morsels), salads (super fresh fattoush and tabbouli) and dips with Miss 3 and my favourite +1. The mix and match approach to this style of dining is great when you're trying to please varying tastes and appetites. I could have lived with less of the fried pastry-like mezze and more of the felafel so next time will specify which mezze we want rather than leaving the selection to the server. I'll also be trying out the lebanese pizzas. Starting at a mere $1 and constantly being made in full-view of the floor. Pro tip: Grab a bottle of hot sauce from the water/cutlery
