Viniendo de San Diego, el foro esta localizado en una área bastante fácil de encontrar ya que esta en Ave. Revolución. Aunque el área esta ocupada, estacionamiento generalmente es fácil de encontrar. Durante conciertos, hay varios locales alrededor que ofrecen tarifas baratas. E tenido el gusto de poder ver a grandes artistas, unos de mis favoritos: Panda, Fobia, División Minúscula, Zoe y otros rockeros. Lo mejor es que boletos de piso son unos de los más baratos, chistoso que en comparación de San Diego esos son los más caros. Quien va a conciertos para sentarse?? Yo no. Seguiré asistiendo a este lugar mientras sigan trayendo a mis favoritos. Allí los veo!

This museum is huuuuuge. It's a bit confusing for a tourist who doesn't speak the language. I first…read moreentered the building, which I thought was the main building and started wondering around trying to find the ticketing area, but there was none. I found myself in a gallery until a security guard told me that this is a ticketed area and told me to get a ticket from the gift shop. I went to the gift shop and bought my ticket and then they directed to a separate building where the museum actually was. While I walked there, I passed by an aquarium and walked in and it turned out that you need a separate ticket for it! I left the aquarium and continued my quest to find the museum. I passed by a garden with various statues, pretty cool and the museum and right behind that. Went into the museum building and walked in to what I thought was part of the exhibit and it turned out to be the back part of it and I was directed to go to the other end. Yes! I finally found it! They took my ticket and I entered the museum exhibit area. It's a gallery of the history of Mexico from ancient times to almost current day. I love that for most of the articles, there's an English translation below it as well. Definitely recommend checking out this museum. Don't get lost!

The museum is very well thought out, interesting and well designed. It gives a history focusing on the Baja California region of Mexico. It was very informative and helped to learn a lot about the area, its indigenous people and how it came to be the Baja we know today. I enjoyed it immensely though do wish there was more emphasis on the indigenous communities and their contributions to the culture and not so heavy on the impact of the Spanish especially the priests and monks. They do history a disservice by not mentioning the atrocities that transpired against the native people by the conquerers both religious and otherwise in the name of religion and "gentrification". We need to be honest, so that these crimes against humanity are not soon repeated.

We stopped in this casino to gamble a few dollars. I had to provide my ID, email address, home…read moreaddress and telephone number to get a casino card that was needed to play. Once that was completed, you had to add money to the card first. The staff were helpful and only a few spoke limited English. Between me and my friend limited Spanish we made it work. I didn't see any gambling tables just slot machines. I added 20 pesos to the card intending on playing the penny machine like I do in the States. Lol. The cheapest slot machine was 5 pesos. I went on and thankfully another player who spoke Engish showed me how to use the machine and cash out. After I lost only playing a few rounds is when I realized duh, you only lost $1 in US money. Lol I balled out the 2nd time and added 30 pesos, lol. I betted the max and lost after 4 rounds. I took my losses and called it a day, losing just under $3 US currency. I enjoyed my visit and next time I will invest more $ and time. :-)

Food: 4/5 (drink) Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 Parking: NA/5 Family friendly: NA/5 Stroller friendly: NA/5 ADA accessible: 0/5 Never thought of a jazz club in downtown TJ but the experience was awesome.  Doors open at 730pm and I suggest making a reservation for a table for it to be easier.  However, there are seats at the bar but it's first come first serve. Door cover is $150 MXN pesos and it's worth it.  The fun starts about 9pm when they trio starts to play and from then on it's just 90 min of jazz high energy jazz music.  One caveat though, it does get a bit loud.   The ambiance is intimate, the drinks are excellent and there is a food menu with hamburgers, Pizza, and salads.  I ordered two Mezcal based drinks (Mingus Rey and Naked and Famous both $190 Mxn each) which were stupendous with a perfect amount of sweet, bitter, and smokey Mezcal. The bartender takes lots of pride in making cocktails and it shows.  If you're a jazz lover or just want a night out on the town that is a bit more laid back than the usual "club" then this place is for you.
