We were out driving and looking for a place to eat. Tired of fast food, I searched Coloma…read morerestaurants. This brought us to Easy Street Inn. When we walked in, the place was full. We found a table and the server, Karen, brought menus. Seeing as I'm having cardiac testing tomorrow, I wanted one last great meal, just in case. I ordered the half rack of ribs. It came with soup or salad. I chose the bacon, mushroom, and cheese soup. It was one of the best soups I had ever tasted. But, wait! More delicious delights followed. The half rack of ribs were not the absolute best I've ever had, but they were close. The baked potato was huge and came with lots of butter packets. Sour cream, too. I'm always impressed when they give moist towelettes with ribs and I was impressed tonight. My cohort had a bacon Swiss burger that was huge and really yummy French fries. I tried one. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Not a place for large groups, but it's gonna be one of my favorite getaways. Great place!

What should have been a fun birthday celebration turned into a very disappointing experience. Our…read moregroup came to The Bend to celebrate a birthday of a close friend. One of our friends, who works as a lineman and had been putting in exhausting hours during recent storms, was mistaken for being drunk simply because he was tired. He hadn't even been trying to order a drink and was singled out among a bar full of many people already there who seemed to be quite drunk. The staff refused to serve our group and we ended up leaving. Losing customers because of an incorrect assumption is unfortunate, but what bothered us most was how unwelcome and judged our friend felt. After being loyal customers for so many years, this experience left a bad impression and we will not be returning.

Yeah, they probably have it. Cold grab-and-go sandwiches, hot made-to-order sandwiches, pasta salads, charcuterie, chips and dips, crackers, drinks... seriously so much to choose from. I went with a cold sandwich and it was way better than I expected. It tasted fresh, felt gourmet, and definitely wasn't your average deli sandwich. Everything looked really fresh too. The service was super friendly and efficient, even with people coming in and out, and the shop had a fun, bustling beach-town vibe that got us even more excited for the day.
