Great selection! The people were very nice and helpful, too! Everything was well organized and stocked, so you know where to go to get what you need. read more

Great spot for hard to find bottles with fair pricing. They are about 1.5 hour drive but it is worth it every couple months to see their selection read more

Large store with a huge inventory of alcohol, soda, and non-alcoholic drinks like sparkling juice.  The set up is split between the fridges and room temperature.  Employees are nice and are friendly enough to keep up a few minutes of mindless chit chat with my friends and I.  If you are in need of a drink, whether it's a simple beer or spicy mead, Liquor Cabinet probably has what you are looking for. read more

Liquor Cabinet - shelves of liquor in a grocery store - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Saint Joseph, Michigan

See all

I used The Liquor Cabinet for my wedding and would NOT recommend them. They ran out of gin and whiskey within the first hour of my wedding, served the signature cocktails during cocktail hour (they were supposed to be for the reception only) and were not even going to resolve the issue. My venue had to take it upon themselves to go to the liquor store and buy more liquor. read more

Ez in ez out. Cold beer, wide variety! Lost one star for me because they sell vape juice (gross)

We used The Liquor Cabinet for our Benton Harbor wedding and rehearsal dinner, and it was the smoothest process we could have asked for. Jeanette and Sandi gave us great advice on amounts and selection and helped us save money wherever possible. They were flexible with our last-minute requests and friendly and professional in every interaction. It was a pleasure working with them and we'd do it again in a heartbeat! read more

This is a very nice and clean store. I like the selection of local wines. You can probably find just about anything you want here as it is a big store. Parking is easy. Staff was disinterested and not friendly, the only down side to the experience. read more

Great service for weddings. The package was reasonably priced and they did a good job of keeping lines moving for bar service all evening

The Liquor Cabinet has a WIDE selection of just about every kind of alcohol you can think of! They also make sure to be competitively priced with other grocery stores in the area within "state low" limits. This is my usual "go to" liquor store when I'm running out for some garage-fridge beer, a special date night wine or when I'm looking for to try something new. I do find it rather disturbing that it is now a "vape shop" too because I'm not really supportive of the vape community. It's just not my thing. I can vouch for the fact that if they don't have what you want, they will do what they can to get it for you. My husband and I went to Napa Valley one year and found a wine that we really liked. We couldn't find it anywhere and talked to the guys at Liquor Cabinet. They took down the name of the wine and winery we got it from and went out of their way to special order it. When it came in they called to let us know. We naturally bought more than a few bottles and will continue to support this establishment! read more

If you want it, they got it; but if they don't have it, they will order it for you. It's so nice to have a vast selection of top shelf and cheap options. They carry beer, wine, and liquor. I'm not sure I've ever seen the menagerie of options anywhere, especially not in St Joe. Oh, they also have expensive cigars for your smoking pleasure. read more

The Liquor Cabinet was excellent to work with for our wedding in July in Sturgis Michigan. They were actually a required vendor for our venue, which I wasn't sure I loved at first but they were truly wonderful to work with. The bartenders day of were AWESOME! During dinner we started to run out of seltzers and the bartenders were quick to communicate and offered to add another seltzer they had on hand. They truly took care of everything on top of being reasonably priced. I would 100% recommend the Liquor Cabinet for any wedding in West Michigan. read more

The group recently bartended my daughter's wedding on May 28, 2022. The staff leading up to the day was excellent to work with in selecting the right amounts and specific selections we desired. The staff got back to you right away and was flexible with any changes. The bartenders arrived the day of the event and was professional and fun! It was clear they knew what they were doing. I enjoyed working with them and highly recommend them for any event. read more

The selection is great and the staff are all very helpful. It doesn't matter what you're looking for: craft beer, excellent gin, micro-distillery liquor, port, or the best wine and whisky....they have it and have lots of variety to go with it. This is always my first and most exciting stop. I could spend hours in this place dreaming of what each scotch would taste like, if only I had the budget...but a fella can dream! I cannot imagine anyone giving this place less than five stars. If you're looking for it, and Michigan can sell it, then they have it! read more

What an amazing experience! The Liquor Cabinet team was so thorough and helpful in ensuring I had the perfect amount of alcohol for my guests at cost (SO cheap!) They were super responsive throughout the planning process and updated our list as many times as needed as our guest count shifted. They also work with Luther Bartending for a seamless process who made the best, fresh margaritas for our wedding! Highly recommend both! read more

my husband spends hours with me at the mall, and i spend hours with him...at the liquor cabinet. hubby loves the wide beer selection that chris carries, and i enjoy perusing the wines and ciders. it's the best of both worlds, really, when husband and wife can both shop in the same place, together. tip: our friends got married, and got all of their wine and liquor from the cabinet. chris generously allowed them to sell back the unopened bottles of alcohol the day after, AND HE EVEN DELIVERED A BOTTLE OF GIN, PERSONALLY, TO THE RECEPTION VENUE AFTER WE RAN OUT! talk about great customer service! read more

This is hands down the best liquor store I've ever been to. For starters the selection is unbeatable. I've never gone in looking for something that wasn't there (and I have outlandish tastes so thats saying something). I've also really enjoyed the experience of trying a plethora of exotic libations I've never seen elsewhere. Wether you're looking for a great micro brew, a phenomenal bottle of wine, or something harder, the Liquor Cabinet will have it, and If you have no idea what you're looking for or simply feel like trying something new this is also the place for you. I can guarantee you will be able to find something amazing you've never even heard of before. Another strong point is the owner. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. As mentioned in other reviews you can tell he loves his business and that love comes through in the way he interacts with customers. He is always ready to make a suggestion or answer a question, but above all else he makes you feel absolutely welcome from the moment you walk in the door. I really can't say enough good things about this establishment. If you are anywhere in Berrien County The Liquor Cabinet is something you absolutely have to check out. read more

Beer geek here, so that's what this is about. #2 tries harder...and becomes #1 (beating out Lambrechts). Big azz warehouse thing, which is a legitimate way to go. No extra nothing, concrete floor. Over-all selection is better than Lambrechts, prices a shade better, although nothing is cheap in SW MI. Yeah nice customer service blah blah. Give me beer!!!! read more

I have been a fan from the day they opened the doors. Owner is fantastic and always helps me decided on which beer i need to add to my three tap home system. So many Tequilas ( my favorite ) he has a fantastic staff . You got to check out this store. No one in town even comes close to the varieties he has of all liquors . read more

We used Luther Bartending and Liquor Cabinet for our wedding. I'm still not sure if they are the same company or not, their phone numbers routed to the same place anyhow, so I'll review both here. Liquor Cabinet: It can be hard to get ahold of these guys. Once you get Bryan, though, he is great. We appreciated that they buy back unopened bottles, and their estimates were great, so there wasn't much waste. Luther Bartending: The bartenders did a good job, but we were very frustrated that they put tip jars out after we were very explicit and clear with the organizer we spoke with prior to the wedding that we did not want tip jars out. We had even already given the bartenders tip envelopes. It was important to us that our entirely out-of-town guests did not use their own money at our wedding, so that was very disappointing, and awkward to have to ask them to remove the jars once we entered the cocktail hour and folks had already been tipping. I do appreciate that Sue was helpful in deciding how many options to serve and approximate amounts during the planning. The bartenders let us know when white wine was running low and offered to go out and grab more - we declined but it was appreciated. read more

Liquor Cabinet was absolutely amazing for my wedding. They got everything we needed and the bartenders were absolutely fabulous. Would definitely recommend working with them! read more

Great place when in town for the art fest. They know how to treat you right. Fantastic selection or beers. Take a nice walk near the river when you leave read more

Upon reading my recent review of the Liquor Cabinet I was contacted by the owner of the store, Chris. Chris has assured me that he is working on the expired beer issue. He has invited me to come back to the store and give it another try, which I plan to do in the next week. I'm very glad that Chris is taking steps to resolve this issue as I have been a big fan of the store since it opened. Also by contacting me Chris is showing that he really cares about his customers. Besides his great customer service the Liquor Cabinet has the best selection of wine, liquor and beer around. I look forward to returning to the store and plan on updating my review after my next visit. read more

If I need booze or vaping supplies, I drive across town past several other Liquor Stores in order to get to Liquor Cabinet. Since the day he opened the doors; you can tell that the owner is a busy guy, but he always takes time to quickly and concisely answer any questions you may have. The guy is a pro who runs his business with passion and he has some great staff who are very knowledgeable about vaping (almost obsessed!) and liquor or beer. I've bought all of my vaping hardware here and staff have been great helping me decide which options are best for me! EDIT: They have great business hours too! read more

Walked in and the only person in the store. Both employees didn't have the courtesy to acknowledge me on my way in or out. I won't be back

Oh lord float in the ocean asleep in a box my favorite store when in town thsi is god stuff they have everything hahahahaa oh lord

Excellent customer service and a very large selection of alcohol. I've asked for a few things on special order and this place has accommodated my requests. Overall a great place to procure your alcohol. read more

This place has a huge selection and very friendly staff. I needed help picking out the right dry red wine for a Christmas present... I know absolutely jack about wine... the guy in the front had no issues helping me pick the right one! I'm pretty sure she drank the whole bottle that night, maybe her husband helped her too, but that's neither here nor there lol! Thanks for being so helpful guy at the front lol Keep up the good work! read more

Great spot. Incredible selection of beer. Always great service. Some freshness issues with Anheuser Busch products, but that's more Bud Distributing's fault. It's all too easy to stop here for some great new beers and old faves. read more

This store has one fantastic selection of brews! You will find something new, different, and delicious every time!

This is actually the first store I've spent time in looking at all the different liquors. It has quite the selection. It's a big city liquor store in a small community. With over 500 varieties of liquors, if he doesn't have it, he could probably get it. I like the beer variety, there's nothing like sipping on a brew from England and never leaving my backyard. read more

Favorite place to get beer or liquor in St. Joe/BH. Selection is wide and staff are helpful.

Accomodating, did you say accomodating? If that's the word of the day, this liquor store is it. We used this store to supply liquor for my daughter's wedding at The Millcreek Barn in Watervliet Michigan this past weekend. Chris is professional, knowledgeable and very accomodating. He suggested some great wine and beer options that made my fussy Chicago guests happy. He was always available when I needed to talk to him and then some. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a liquor store. Bravo to Chris and his staff. He is a great business owner and did I say friendly? Donna read more

We absolutely love this libation Mecca! The owner is fabulous - he eagerly helps us with our questions and requests with enthusiasm! The store is always clean and the bottles sparkle! The employees are also helpful! But the best part is the fantastic selection! If you can't find it here, the Liquor Cabinet will get it for you. An excellent resource for all your liquor needs! read more
