Last year, I ignored my…read morebrother's advice (that people over 65 should not climb ladders) and attempted to clean the second story windows of my house myself to avoid the expense of paying another for this service, as this service is not as cheap for me as it would be for others (I installed a second layer of windows on the second story for soundproofing, which doubles the work). Despite multiple trips up and down the ladder (which was exhausting), I still missed a lot of streaks which became evident on the changing angle of the sun. My efforts were unrewarding. This year, I called Mt. Diablo Window Cleaning. They arrived to give an estimate when they said they would, gave a clear estimate later that same day, broken down to two specific tasks as I requested, and promptly scheduled service within two business days of my request. They arrived as promised (they gave a one hour range) and did an excellent job. The windows are very clean and clear (no streaks) and despite being parsimonious, I could not be happier. 5 stars are not enough.
