This was the cutest hidden gem. I loved how small it was, the decor, the little bathrooms, etc. I wanted to love everything about it. However, it is a great place for a drink, but not a great place for a meal! We started with appetizers that had pieces of what looked like fish or chicken mixed into it. Yuck. Not appetizing. We ordered the corned beef and cabbage as well as the bangers and mash for our main meal. Nope, nope, nope. The corned beef was shiny like oil and basically sliced deli meat. My corned beef and potatoes were both cold. Just gross. The cabbage had no flavor. The sausages were split in half and again cold potatoes with that dish. This may be a local favorite as there were a lot of locals there, but the food is questionable and not a place I'd ever grab a meal at again. read more

I only got Guinness so I can't judge the food but the Guinness was horrible and had bubbles on the top. The server was nice and new so no one has showed her how to properly pour a Guinness. If your a Irish pub, you better have good Guinness or it's disrespectful to have the Irish name read more

I came in with higher expectations from other Yelp reviewers. I sat on the patio and had a couple of beers and the spicy cheese curds. The spicy cheese curds had more spice than I was expecting but were not overly hot. I ordered two entrees to go. The bacon cheeseburger was moist, but the portion of fries was paltry. The bangers and mash was ok. I would order the former again but definitely not the latter. They tacked on a surcharge for taking food to go but didn't provide any utensils, napkins, etc. The patio was nice but had plenty of flies. read more

Little Irish dive bar that is pretty cool. I came here with co-workers while visiting Fort Leavenworth. A guy that used to be stationed here told me about this place and mentioned they used to have "whisky on tap". Being a whisky drinker, I had to check this out. Turns out they don't have that set up anymore but they do have a decent whisky selection, not huge or diverse, but worth a visit. Staff was super friendly and social so we stayed for dinner. Bangers and mash and corned and cabbage found it's way to our table and we stayed for a few drinks before heading out. I recommend and will be back next time I am in town. read more

Came on Sunday early afternoon. Alex D. was our server. Ordered Irish Kegs as an appetizer, Bangers and mash, Fish and chips, sweet tea, Guinness, and for dessert bread pudding. In another review someone described the Irish Kegs as large tots with seasoning and goodness... that is a perfect way to describe them. Bangers and mash is sausage, mash potatoes, cabbage, a slice of toast, and a side of some kind of delicious sauce. The fish was fantastically breaded and plated on top of the fries which prevented it from getting soggy and keeping the crisp. Bread pudding was mouth watering. The food absolutely blew me away. Our server, Alex, was amazing. She made the experience absolutely fantastic. read more

The phrase "Irish Pub" brings to mind all of the things you might imagine: Shepherd's Pie, Bangers & Mash, Irish Stew, and lots of posters for Guinness. The pub provided your typical American bar food mixers as well, mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, and more. I took time to try the Irish Stew and enjoyed it as a way to try something new for a Wednesday night. The wait staff was friendly and food was served fast, the environment is good and I felt welcomes from the moment I walked in the door and received a big "Glad to have you here! One of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. Service was great. Very small pub. We went on a Tuesday during lunch and it was busy.

We arrived on a Friday night at 6:30- it is packed!!! Really no room to even stand if you wanted to stay and try it out. Frankly we weren't regulars and felt very out of place and in the way looking for a table. No one spoke to us. We left after about 5 awkward minutes. I'm a lifelong resident of this area. I had my reservations about trying this place due to the location and size. However, it's been there for a few minutes (years) so I suggested it to my husband and we went. We must have come on an off day. The place IS small, but there were a few rowdies in the place (a party just ended), and it was very loud..plus some lady kept yelling in the kitchen, which was right behind us. Anyway, they all cleared out, and it got better. I ordered the Shepards pie, and hubby got fish and chips. His looked nice, but my cabbage side got dumped on the table when she put it down. She apologized and got me another batch, and it was good. The pie, however, left much to be desired. You can see what it says in the photo. There WEREN'T ANY vegetables or ANY thick gravy. Just ground beef with mashed potatoes and cheese (I added) on top. Also, NO bread!!! The more we ate, the more I got upset and my husband was upset that they got that meal so wrong. I was sorry I recommended the place. Seems like it's just a local club for regulars to frequent. The only thing I really liked were the bathrooms. Very old, kitschy, and unusual. (I ilke that stuff.) It's just unfortunate that the rest of it was an unremarkable experience. read more

It must be this area because I thought for sure this place couldn't get it wrong. It's a basic bar/pub; just be average with the food and add a little flavor, and you'll be fine. But nope, this place managed to be subpar as well. We ordered the Bangers and Mash with a Bacon Cheeseburger. How do you not deliver on these but call yourself an Irish pub? The sausage was tough and lacked flavor; the mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box; and we got about ten fries with our cheeseburger. The only thing decent was the actual cheeseburger. On top of that, they added a $2 surcharge for a to-go order. Is $2 a lot? No. But I can't stand when a restaurant does that nickeling and diming nonsense. It's just unnecessary, especially when they failed to provide any napkins or utensils anyways. Like I said, maybe it's just Leavenworth as a whole and this place really is good for the area, or maybe I just had terrible luck. But I would've been better going to McDonald's than any of the places we tried while in town. read more

So there is this small building on the side of a not widely traveled road, a place you would generally miss if you weren't paying attention. Hey you, stop whatever you have going on and pay attention for Pete sake. You don't want to pass this place up. Now let me say if you are into the huge open dance floor clubs with alcohol that flows from statues made of ice, this ain't your spot. If you grew up in my generation, where you can at least hum the theme song to Cheers, you will very much enjoy this Pub. Menu has a selection consisting of burgers, appetizers, salads, and some amazing Irish selections, but don't forget the wide selection of beers and quality spirits. In this case our waitress did an excellent job and should be commended. This is a great place to get off the beaten path and enjoy a different, but amazing, flavor. read more

This has become our go to when in Leavenworth. We have tried several menu items and have been pleased with all the options.But the absolute best ending was the tuxedo bomb. So yummy. Tucked away on 3rd St in Leavenworth is this little Irish pub. Lots of authentic Irish dishes on the menu along with burgers, sandwiches and even salads. We stopped in on a Wednesday night and it seemed quite busy. It was pint night where first is $5 then second is $2.50. And we got a set of glasses too! I had the Guinness beef stew with fried cabbage and crusty bread. It was delicious! The server was Very nice, informing us of the specials and answering our questions on the various dishes. Our food was delivered quickly. My stew was hot but my cabbage was rather cold. The interior is very small and when crowded, loud and cramped. I was informed there is an outdoor patio but the evening was too cool to check it out. read more

Was the first time at Bailey's Irish Pub. Very quaint pub with outdoor seating also. Husband and I both got burgers they were good and I also got the fried mushrooms. They don't have cocktail sauce but have all the ingredients you need to make your own horseradish and ketchup. I would like to thank the owner for not skimping on the condiments and carrying Hines ketchup and Heinz mustard. The fried mushrooms were excellent and they brought ranch dressing out with them, and I ended up using the ranch dressing more than the homemade cocktail sauce. if I could the ranch dressing I would,it was very good. The only thing I would change, we got cheddar cheese on our burgers. They didn't have sliced cheddar cheese. They had the shredded cheddar cheese, but that's just a little thing .We will definitely come back. The waitress we had was excellent very attentive, got our food correct check back on us several times you don't find good service like that always so we were very appreciative of her service. I forgot her name my apologies but we will definitely come back and yes, I would definitely recommend going to this pub. read more
