After receiving three emails about the exact same job, I assumed that it was a spam email. The very…read morerude and unprofessional response from Nesco's 'professional' recruiter was exactly this..."Thank you for your email, but It isn't a list, YOU have your resume posted on CareerBuilder. If you are not interested in this particular job or are no longer on the job market take your resume down." I am currently temping for a national temp agency and I can assure you that I have NEVER known any of the recruiters to speak to anyone in any capacity that way! If they will be that unprofessional with first contact via email, I cannot imagine what working for them would be like.

Recruiter contacted me about at Admin. Assistant at a huge well known company that owned many…read morefactories and had an industrial set up. I agreed to go after googling the address and seemingly determining that the location was accessible with public transportation. But something didn't seem right. I would google the specific address and it wouldn't come up. I stalled and called out sick, afraid that something might be amiss. The recruiter rescheduled my interview for the next day. Then my research on their client's company website indicated that the address difference was "Ave" vs "Rd". When I put in "Rd" on google maps it pulled up the client company main office at that address and the company campus, which was immense, but their main office was a completely gutted, empty building, with broken barred windows, boarded up, with a giant electric fence around the back and a construction site on both sides and about 15 industrial and mechanical factories owned by the company surrounding it. The kind of place you wouldn't ever go for an Admin Assistant interview. More likely a place where you could get dragged in and killed!!! Further inspection of the images indicated the building was for sale, listed by a broker with a for-sale sign in the bushes and there was an unmarked undercover police car posted out front. The recruiter had rescheduled me for the interview, so I contacted her right away about the address discrepancy and she insisted the address was correct and that she had sent someone to interview there the other day. I took screen shots pointing out the broken/boarded up windows that showed the company address on them, and the location of their client campus, and the for sale sign out front and the undercover police car and sent them to her explaining that there must be some mistake. So she sent me a snide response stating that I just didn't want to go to the interview and Nesco Resource would never work with me again if I didn't go. I told her to cancel it because the location was clearly unsafe and not an office. I also explained that I had researched the person who was supposed to interview me, and they didn't seem to exist either. The next day I received a threatening follow-up from a different person, speaking broken Chinese/English from Nesco Resources showing a fake image of a building, with what looked like a fake google maps, with no directions to the site, and it was very clearly a picture of a site that didn't exist on google maps. Even if google maps was three years behind in updating it's images, there's no way that location would be developed to the level of the fake image that the recruiter had sent me. I feel very harassed and threatened by this company. They were trying to send me to an abandoned, gutted building, surrounded by electric fences for a fake interview at a company that likely wasn't interviewing for an Administrative Assistant and then threatened me with damage to my career because I refused to go, because it was unsafe and not an office. Stay away from these people. There's something criminal going on here.

Our experience with the military process was extremely challenging and emotional from beginning to…read moreend. There were countless moments of stress, uncertainty, and discouragement, especially when dealing with the waivers. At times, it felt like everything was working against us, and we were losing hope. Before working with Sergeant Selders, it honestly felt like Adrian was not being fully seen for who he is, and there was a sense that his situation was being overlooked or not given the time and effort it truly deserved, which made an already difficult process feel even heavier. Everything changed once Sergeant Selders stepped in. Instead of seeing obstacles, he saw potential. Instead of giving up, he remained patient, consistent, and dedicated throughout the entire process. He took the time to truly understand Adrian's situation and showed a level of care and commitment that made a huge difference for us. Through every delay and every challenge, he continued to push forward and never made us feel like giving up was an option. Because of his support, Adrian did not just get through the process--he grew from it, becoming more disciplined, more confident, and stepping into the man he is meant to be. Sergeant Selders made an impact that goes far beyond just doing his job, and his belief, effort, and persistence helped turn a situation that once felt hopeless into something meaningful and full of opportunity. We will always be grateful for the role he played in this journey.
