Heidi was absolutely professional, kind and helpful. My Amazon return was challenging and Heidi…read morehelped me so much to complete my return. Thanks!

I needed some documents notarized. Heidi stated she was able to do that. I presented my documents…read moreand my drivers license. She instructed me to sign. I did and handed back the documents. She then read over everything and proceeded to sign and stamp my documents. When she was done she handed back my driver license and documents. I said thank you and gathered my things and started to leave. Heidi then stated That was 2 stamps $10 a stamp that will be $20's. I was baffled for a second I said I didn't know there was a charge. I grabbed my wallet and said what do you take. Heidi stated cash. I responded sorry I don't have cash, any other options what do you take? Heidi then stated Zelle, Cashapp, Apple Pay. I again said I didn't know there was a charge, If I would have known I would have brought money. I thought for a second look at my wallet and decided I could only do Cashapp. I proceeded to go thru my phone bring up the app and type in the amount handed Heidi my phone so she could type in her information. She handed back my phone and I type my code in. The money was sent. I again stated thank you got up and left. As I'm driving away my head clears and I think to myself I never been charged for Notary and she never disclosed she was charging me. I then thought I didn't see any publication in the establishment stating there was a fee for Notary Public. www.asnnotary.org Disclose Notary Fees Before Charging Them before you notarize, always provide the customer with a fee schedule that separately line-items each fee you intend to charge, including the notary fee and any fee for travel (if not prohibited in your state) or for any other "service" you are offering to provide (again, if such additional fee is not prohibited); be certain the customer agrees to any fee or fees you intend to charge prior to doing anything that incurs an expense for which you intend to collect compensation. PLEASE NOTE: ALWAYS discuss your fees with the client before you perform any service. It is unwise and could be seen as unethical for you to wait to tell your client about your fees until after your services are performed. Always give clients the chance, up front, to accept or decline your fees. I'm sharing this because I never been charged to have paperwork notarized. I have lived in 6 other states besides Florida I have never been charged not from a bank, not from a local library, no where. If I knew that Notary Public charges I would have asked what her fees were before hand. Heidi never disclose that there was a fee and how much it was before performing the Notary service. I did return the next day and addressed this with Heidi and asked her for my money back. Heidi refused to refund me back $20. I suggested to Heidi that before she does Notary or any type of services she should disclose her fees before doing the service. Tiarra D. Feb.22,2024
