I understand how busy it can get in a staffing agency, I've managed 2 offices in two of the busiest markets in Florida. I understand that sometimes people might slip from being called or emailed. However, if you receive a follow up e-mail from the person who you interviewed, not once, not twice but three times within a span of 3 weeks, and not one single reply. That just means you don't care, I'm just a number to you. A resource to get your numbers up and filled. I am not angry that I didn't get the position, it happens, it won't be the first or last time I get turned down from a position. With that said, I do expect a call or an email stating so. As recruiters we have forgotten the human aspect of HR, and just utilize the resource portion. 'Will this person be a resource to me?' It's truly sad.
