It was easy to park out in the lot across the street and there's lot of food options before the show. Going into the theater you scan in and can stop at the bar while waiting for doors. If you're on the floor the doors are right inside the first entry and if you're in the balcony you'll take the staircase up. There's a bonus bar upstairs but it wasn't open on the day we were there. The downstairs bar has incredible prices on drinks and new Cutwater options I hadn't seen before including espresso martinis, White Russians, and there may have even been a lemon drop. The theater has aged a bit, but it was still a fun date night out.

I really didnt walk throughout the venue to see it all. My seat was an orchestra seat with a up close and excellent view of the stage. Once i was seated i noticed the stage curtain and seating was dated the seats a red velvet material. Not much room to move around in the seat but plenty infront for others to pass to reach their seat. The concert and sound was AMAZING! I have loved Anita over 30yrs. I hear there is a new theatre near by. I would not have cared if Bob Carr theatre was missing the roof. I was here to hear the sounds of a legend. The concert was all that and some. It was packed! I met fans who flew in from Denmark and all over for this special night. There was No seat left empty! There were no dust particles flying thru the air, just the beautiful sounds of the band and the sultry voice of Anita! I would do it all over again. Once the concert started i never sat down longer than 15 seconds anyway. If i didnt dance a hole in the floor that night i think Bob Carr is built to withstand anything.

In terms of acoustics, I couldn't believe this was a live performance. However, the auditorium is able to seat many people, there is an on-site bar that sells a variety of beverages and sweet snacks/nut blends, and all staff I encountered every step of the way from parking, tickets, bar cashier, to door attendants were kind and efficient. If there is a show/performance I wanted to experience, of course I would return. Note: Alcohol is not permitted in the auditorium.

At no cost, I was surprised by their quality! Quite possibly one of the best student plays I've had the pleasure of seeing. But this review isn't about the play.. it really is about the theatre, isn't it? Well, it's in an old lecture hall, so the seats are large, the rows are comfortable with plenty of leg room. The stage is wide and the lighting, while at times, oddly places, is both sufficient and efficient. The sound quality (acoustics) was quite pleasant as was the atmosphere of the lobby and box office area. The bathrooms, while dated, offered something you don't see in most bathrooms. Ledges on which to place your purse and a hook. No need to place your purse on the nasty floor! Kudos! I was quite pleased with my experience here.

At $20 a person for non-students, it is a good value. The performers are student actors with an occasional professional actor. We saw Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Dangerous Liasons). There is plenty of space between rows so no one has to squeeze by. No food or drink is allowed in the theater. The quality of the acting was very good. If you are looking for an affordable alternative to Bob Carr, you might be pleased.

Since I can't afford a Renaissance or Eras ticket short of parting with a major organ, blowing 20 bucks to see college theatre will just have to do. Myself and about 50 or so senior citizens sat back to appreciate the chutzpah it takes to get up on a stage and PERFORM. This is a very charming theatre with decent-sized bathrooms. You can purchase concessions at the intermission for $2 each (did someone say Airheads?!?). There is also a shuttle operated by Rollins students that runs from the Truist Parking lot to the theatre and back for those that need it. I highly recommend checking out this lovely theatre and thanks to everyone on-site today who made the experience so much fun.

A few friends of ours have been going to classes for a few years and seem to really feel it benefits them. The studio and actors put on a show every year that the past 2 years has been called Play de Luna - a series of one act comedic plays. At a low cost you can go to see some quick one act plays with some developing actors. Some are awesome and some are good, none are bad. The actors and directors work so hard at their craft and it shows. The studio itself is a small space. It's got a few rows of seats for an audience and some bathrooms with a small front lobby where they sell drinks during the shows. Overall, if you're looking for something to do in Oct or Nov - check out their show. It's a great fun weekend thing to do (and only suitable for adults). I can say that based on friend's testimonials it seems to be a great place for acting classes too but I cannot say that from my own experience aside from witnessing them get several jobs over the last year or so since they started taking the classes.

This was my first year attending the Orlando Fringe Festival, and it was pretty cool. I didn't know…read morewhat to expect fully, but I knew it would be immersive and eclectic. I went three separate days over a span of a week and each time was its own unique experience. There was a range of live entertainment, performing arts, art of all kinds, super dope poster art, magic performers, various food trucks, and other local shops and businesses that you could support. While the festival is free to the public, there are some events that have a small entry fee. All money is poured back into the arts/community to keep this wonderful festival alive and going for many years to come. The highlight indeed for me was all the art, of which you could also purchase. I loved that this festival allowed for artists and art lovers to congregate and enjoy the many forms of art in one space. Some final notes, they did offer drink options if that was something you were also looking for. There was a decent amount of parking - street, garage, and in the museum lot (if you arrived early). Everyone is super kind - down to the museum staff, food and business vendors, you name it. It's truly a great festival. Fun for all. So happy I finally got the chance to attend this festival. The venue is intimate (only 30 seats) so get your tickets now! The characters are entertaining and familiar - although it is set in the mid 70's, they embody all of us, our insecurities, shortcomings and dreams. We saw "Talk Radio" this past Saturday, and I honestly was not expecting much from this tiny, strip…read moremall theater. The moment I walked into the place, I was instantly impressed. The detail of the set was just remarkable, I was transported back to 1987, and was sitting almost inside a 1980's radio station! The acting was first-rate and I was totally immersed in the performance. I highly recommend the venue and they are extending "Talk Radio" in January, so make plans to see it, you will not be sorry! Oh, and the ticket was only $22!! What a bargain for live theater.

I took some friends out to their show at The Plaza Live and they blew the roof off of it! Sold out Halloween Show, prop bags, interaction before the show, a preshow! That's all before the movie even starts! This group made up of entirely volunteers has a blast doing a shot by shot recreation of the original movie, costumes, make up and facial expressions on point! Give these guys a venue! Give them a place to perform! It'll be the most fun you have rewatching that weird transexual musical.
