First it was that's not our website with a picture of their establishment right on top of the services offered. We booked a deep tissue massage for my husband. Was told over the phone it was $60. I then called back and said I would like to add your 30 min foot massage for myself for $30. She said yes come on in. We get there and everything has changed. Now his massage is $80 and I have to get a full massage with feet included for $70. Please explain this foolery. Go to a reputable SPA. Only went here because it was a last minute decision on a random Sunday. Woodhouse Spa is usually where we frequent and we will NEVER try anything ever again. So disgusted. Still tries to convince me this wasn't their website or a service they offer. Look at the photos and let me know. And look at the sign in the window lmao. On the way in I was told 30 mins chair massage would be $35. Upon arrival I saw the price list for a chair massage offers 20 mins for $30 so I asked again to be sure.. I was then told 30 mins would be $40 which is not bad so I went with it. Upon paying I was told $45. I was hesitant to tip my usual $10 for these quick massages but I did it anyways. The shoulder massage was good but the inconsistency with pricing left me disappointed. I thought I found a place I could trust. I didn't argue the price and I wouldn't have mind if that was communicated in the beginning. They lost a returning customer and another client, because I intended for my husband to pay them a visit right after work.

The location is in a nice area; the ambiance is something out of magazine (should've taken pics); her TOUCH is hands down therapeutic; while the different techniques she incorporates to provide a customizable session makes me a repeat! Every Certified Massage Therapist needs bodywork - Milan will forever be mine when I come to visit the Bay Area!! :) - Thanks Milan

Massage: Milan fuses a-lot of different modalities into one massage . But it felt like she has mastered Trigger Point therapy. The Peppermint Room has very relaxing and inviting vibes, it also smelled amazing, the waiting room was really comfortable. The massage room was so calming and the table was so nice. The extra room for a pregnant belly and chest was awesome and it was also heated. The price was so reasonable especially considering the quality of service. They also offer so many types of services that I can't wait to try. Upon checking out, I booked an appointment for my husband and I feel like we'll probably end up getting a membership because I will definitely be back. Couldn't be happier with my first prenatal massage! Thank you again Miss Dee!

Oh Wow! I knew I had plans in Old Gretna yesterday so I looked to see if I could book a massage…read morebefore or after my lunch plans and if there was online booking. I stumbled across the Peppermint Room and saw the glowing Yelp reviews and immediately booked time with Luz. I booked a massage with face cleansing ritual. First the massage part... the room was large but also cozy. The electric fireplace was a really nice touch. Luz found all the knots... all of them. And worked through them with a firm but gentle touch. I knew my back was a mess but not how much of a mess until she started working on me. The cleansing ritual was not a typical facial... it was more like a face massage with a cleansing. I highly recommend this. I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed it. Again Luz was great! The location is a non-descript building which faces Lafayette St but the front door is actually on 18th St and their are reserved parking spots out front...love the painted parking spot detail. Loved the ability to book online and I was just charged a deposit on my total bill.

The combination of periodic chiropractic adjustments and therapeutic massages, I've been able to really fight off or shorten the duration on my head pain. Raina is the massage therapist that both my husband and I use. She is fantastic. Profession, friendly, knowledgeable. She makes recommendations about what she thinks needs to be the target areas but she also listens to what you think. She doesnt just massage aimlessly. She finds the trouble areas and works them out. As a person that is pretty OCD, one of my favorite things is that she always does the exact same thing on both sides of the body. Both my husband and I have come back time and time again because of the entire team here. From the time you walk in at reception, where they remember you and greet you with a friendly smile to the clean facility, rooms and equipment. I highly reccomend this place. They have both male and female therapists to fit your comfort level but you won't be disappointed with whomever you choose. As for the chiropractic adjustments...timely and on point. She doesn't adjust you every visit and she seems to have a real understanding about the body and where to adjust. All I can say is that I do not think you will be disappointed by coming here. The best part is that they also take insurance for the chiropractic services offered!

I cannot say enough good things about Linda. She has been my masseuse for over 6 years. Now I go to both Linda and Lee (both work here) and both provide amazing massages. You can't go wrong with either. For starters, I should mention that I like intense massage work. I know you can request different pressure levels, but for those who like deep tissue this is your spot. This is a place for a REAL massage. Body work. Do not be fooled by her small stature, she is STRONG. This place is for incredible muscle healing, toxin release, and personally, I like to need an ibuprofen after a massage. Linda has an incredible connection with the human body and she has the ability to feel exactly the areas that need extra work. I can't tell you how many times I have not mentioned something and she picks up on it immediately and heals the area. The space is renovated, clean, full of beautiful light, and an actual relaxing environment. Unlike the place down the street, this place has actual peace inside. NO conversations, NO phone ringing, NO open ceilings and hearing the next room getting their massage (yes, this is a thing) LINDA's massage is beautiful. I love their late hours, because I can go after work. Yes I really have texted at 7:55 to see if they are open and been there at 8:00 pm! I have never just walked in, because I want to make sure they have an opening, but perhaps some do have luck with walk ins. My favorite combination is 30 minute foot massage with an hour body massage, but anything you treat yourself to will be wonderful. Don't be afraid to communicate with them while on the table and let them know what you would like YOUR massage to feel like. It's not offensive to do that, they want you to enjoy your experience. *Linda has a small language barrier when communicating long sentences, but do NOT let that stop you. She easily uses Google translate on her phone and communicates smoothly that way when needed. Her husband helps with communication as well when he is there. * I noticed she has a lot of Google reviews, if you'd like more perspectives.
