I have been here at least a handful of times to have our rings cleaned, always a complimentary service. We've always had great service, but today was by far the best. We were greeted by Griffin, one of the assistant managers of the store, and he was phenomenal. On our way in, we noticed a sign for "free watch batteries" and ironically we were actually on our way to another store to have our watch batteries replaced. We figured there had to be a catch for this "free watch battery" like "with purchase" but we asked Griffin about the sign and he said "no purchase necessary, no strings attached." So, while our rings were being cleaned, Griffin replaced both of our watch batteries...for free! Griffin even took the level of service up a notch by polishing my friend's ring, also complimentary, and while we waited (unlike other stores who say it will take a few days because they have to send it off). He mentioned it would look better if his jeweler did it, but we think it looks amazing. We offered to pay for the polish but he insisted it was on the house. Amazing customer service if you ask me! While we were there, we also checked out the diamond earrings (because that's what we...ahem...I do) and he was so great at showing us different options, including specials and financing available. He made us feel very welcomed and at ease...like we could spend hours there if we wanted to and he wouldn't mind it at all. My bf and I had a good experience looking at engagement rings here. Joy and her manager were very helpful and interested in finding something we wanted, which is really refreshing compared to other experiences we've had. One really cool thing they have in their store is a display with all the different common diamond shapes and sizes to try on, so if you want to fantasize you can see what a 3 ct. stone looks like on your hand (as well as more realistic sizes!). If we hadn't decided to go the custom route we probably would have gotten our ring here, just based on how nice and accommodating everyone was. read more

Lately, I've been browsing rings and I've stopped by this place twice (months apart) since I work nearby. Both times, the same associate was there and each time, he asks what size of a diamond I like, and after I tell him, he always responds "That size would be within a X price range" (even though I didn't ask the price). One time, he even asked what my boyfriend does, as if trying to determine if he'd be able to afford the ring of my preference. Like geez, I'm just browsing. The associate is always friendly and may not mean any harm or realize what he's doing, so hopefully he sees this review and stops asking women what their boyfriend does or telling us the price without us asking. read more

This is a shout out for the great customer service I recently received from Ryan McKellen, the Regional Sales Manager at Bailey Banks & Biddle. I lost one of a pair of diamond stud earrings my husband gave me for our 25th anniversary. Since I couldn't locate the sales receipt to make an insurance claim, I contacted the Plano location. I could have gone wild but I settled on a nice pair of diamond earrings and life time warranty. The Marie was extremely helpful and let me try on a few pair until I decided on the size of the diamonds I wanted. A few months later I went back to pick out watches for my BF and the Marie remembered and greeted us by name!!! Fast forward a few months later they still remembered us as we were sizing our watches and looking at engagement rings. Went in the get a bezel glued back on my Tag Heuer. They sent it in and a few days later I had to call back and ask for it. Then they gave me the price for a bunch of other stuff they wanted to do to it in addition to what I asked for. They wanted $420+tax. I told them to return the watch because they had not done what I had asked for. I have now been waiting for the watch over 2 weeks. Nobody calls me back. When I do talk to them, they tell me it will come in "today" but it never does. Nobody calls. I will NEVER go to this location or BAILY banks and Biddle wer again. read more

If there was an option to choose higher than 5 stars I would do that in a heart beat. I was personally helped by Manny and had great assistance from Ryan. Besides the gorgeous selection of rings and high level IQ of both of these guys I couldn't imagine meeting better PEOPLE anywhere else. Previously had a less than stellar transaction with these guys over a watch repair. However they offered to send it to the factory in Switzerland and have it fixed although it may take a few months. They indicated at first it would be ready in a few weeks but I knew better. The repair manager has been in contact with me with updated so I feel they have definitely tried to remedy the situation. This review board forces you to give at least one star...but the real score should be ZERO stars. Not only do they not stand behind their products, their customer "service" is non-existent - sad when the manager is leading the way. As someone who spends in excess of $250k annually on watches and jewelry for incentives and awards as part of their job (not to mention personal purchases), it will be a pleasure using the entire spending budget elsewhere regardless of product or price. I went in to get a battery installed in my watch and the store manager, David E., broke the crystal on my watch. He claimed he had a guy who could fix it, and apologized for his mistake. He even admitted he was using the wrong tool to replace my battery and cover. He told me it would take no more than a week to fix the watch. One week later, and they haven't even looked at the watch yet. It wasn't until I called them for an eta on the promise date that I realized that they knew nothing about the watch or its repair status. Later in the day, just before closing hours, I get a phone call saying it will take a few more weeks to repair the watch because they didn't order the part. They literally are holding my watch with no end in sight. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! There only satisfied with selling you something you don't want at a high mark up. read more

I live overseas I had to place a special order (needed a size 13) over the telephone for one of the most inexpensive men's wedding bands that BBB stocks. Despite it being just a few weeks before Christmas, the staff at the main office and at the Plano, TX store were incredibly helpful and accommodating and I would gladly buy jewelry from them again. read more
