Very good service and experience with them. We had an overflow gasket fail and damage our home (relatively small amount of damage). I contacted Baikal to get a plumber out, and they told me that if there was water damage to the ceiling below the bathroom, I should also contact a contractor to fix that. I've had Chris out to my house for three separate jobs and have been very happy with the work each time. Specifically, here are the things I appreciate about working with Chris: 1. Communication - Chris has never failed to pick up a phone call or respond to a text message. His responsiveness and clarity of communication is awesome! 2. Reliable - Chris has never missed an appointment and reliability has been an issue with other plumbers I've used. 3. Clarity of pricing - Chris breaks out each portion of the job in discrete pieces such that you can choose what services you want. This level of granularity is not always standard from other plumbers. 4. Works with you - the granularity of the pricing that Chris provides allows you to choose what you want to elect what to do vs. have him do. For example, he is perfectly happy having you open a wall or a ceiling and that in advance for him which can reduce some costs. Additionally, he does a great job explaining what he's doing--obviously passionate about his trade. 5. Quality - I'm not a plumber so I don't have a professional's perspective but Chris's work has been clean and to-date (since last year) has not failed. He also pays attention to the little details like doing a thorough cleaning of his workspace after the job is done. I had Chris do rough-ins in my bathroom and kitchen but I know he also specializes in water heaters and emergency response.
