My service charging system now light came on. Tried calling to make an appointment but you can only make an appointment online. I took the first available appointment, 10 days out, & then tried to add an inspection/emissions. I tried for 4 days to contact them. I used the chat function, which told me the service was added (not) & someone would call back (didn't). I even called sales to put me thru to service & got the same answering system that wanted to send me a link to the online booking system. I also requested a loaner car which I was told was not available & to contact them a few days before (how? they never answer phone & chats are not responded to), never did get a car. Long story short, I took my car in, got the service. Spoke to the girl behind the counter about this all, when I say she couldn't have given two craps less, I am not kidding. All she did was add the inspection/emissions to the call. They said it needed a new battery (bought from there about a year ago), purchased battery & now a week later, same light is back on. I took my car in 2017 ford escape and they first wanted to charge me 129.00 to change one front light bulb. Not LED. Then when I complained and told the they robbing people they reduced it to 100.00 still rubbery. When I called Ford in Butler they told me it was 15.99 plus the price of light bulb. Don't ever go here!!!!!!!! Would never let this place even look in the direction of my car. This Ford location charged me over 1400 dollars and still gave me back a broken car. Told me it was shifting fine and the transmission nearly blew hours away from home. They had my car for a week, I waited a month and a half for an appointment. I brought my truck in for service, and I told them I have a remote disconnect on my battery and I explained why I have it installed, They couldn't figure out why it wasn't working, so they removed it and said now the truck works and gave it back to me. They couldn't take the time to figure out how it works and make sure they return the truck to me the way it was when I brought it in. I will never let them work on my truck again read more

I have never been treated worse buying a truck. There used car manager Ben was abrasive, condescending, and plain offensive and rude to my mother and I while we were purchasing our truck. He also decided to try and goat me into an argument after the sale. He told me he was the general manager and I was never allowed in another Bariel dealership. I cannot recommend buying a car from here. They use high pressure sales tactics and sold me a newly inspected car that had the brake warning light come on as I was driving it home! I called to complain and they did pay to have new back brakes out on. Fast forward 8 months and now it needs front brakes. It wasn't blowing warm air. Coolant was very low. Guess they didn't check the fluids while doing their "top notch" inspection of the car. I will never buy from Baierl Ford again, new or used. read more

Brought my vehicle here for a recall. Completed the task in an untimely fashion. Notified me during the process I had alternator failure (was not failing when I brought it in). Put new tires on without my permission (I had my own brand new tires in my workshop). Also notified & charged me for a hub assembly @ rotor failure that was never failing and in good mechanical condition. I only brought the vehicle in for a recall and ended leaving with a hefty bill. While waiting for my cosigner to arrive, another salesman came over and took the keys to have somebody else take a test drive. Before my cosigner arrived, they sold the car to somebody else! Avoid at all costs! Took it in to get inspected two months ago. They said it would take $5000 of work to pass inspection. I instead took it to my usual mechanic and they said the dealership was lying about half of it and it only cost me $2000 to get fixed for inspection. Now today I go in to get an oil change because I stupidly paid for the oil change plan and they're trying to tell me that I need new brakes even though I know for a fact that they aren't even close to worn out. Also the oil change took two hours. That's just crazy. This is the type of scam dealer you hear about in the news. Don't trust them with anything. Update--They're now blowing up my phone with calls and texts trying to get me to come back in and hoping I'll take this review down. Completely unprofessional. If your "best effort" to help a customer involves repeated attempts to charge thousands for unnecessary work and hoping that they will just agree and pay up, your dealership has a serious problem. This was my first time at Baierl to have a recall done on my Ford Explorer and an oil change. The scheduling was easy. I got there and found a lot of customer parking not like the other Ford dealer that I purchased it from. I was waited on right away. Even though I get free oil changes where I purchased my Explorer, It was well worth it to spend $60 to not go through the hassle of getting a voice Mail when scheduling and no one returning your call, no parking and coming back and find they left your windows down and your vehicle unlocked. HANDGUN SURPRISE IN MY VEHICLE !!!! I had bought a vehicle in march 2019 was given car fax and assured it had never been in accident or damaged but found out that wasnt so as there is a repair to the back end and it was sloppy paint job done by dealership paint ran.Got premium extra coverage on it was told it covered vehicle bumper to bumper except plugs and wires I havent had it but 9 months and it would completely just shut down the minute brakes were touched and it downshifted or when u changed gear to R,D,P as well have only put a little over 4k miles on this vehicle pay $268 a month and almost got rear ended on interstate when it shut off completely in traffic.waited 2 wks to get into dealer to get repair only to find out I had to pay money for the repair.So much for the bumper to bumper right! The dealer gave me a loaner stressing no pets or smoking and fill gas tank.Otherwise they charge ..After fighting over having to pay partial repair the dealership ate $100 ..After multiple employees stressing to me how NO VEHICLE LEAVES THE LOT WITHOUT VIGOROUSLY GOING OVER VEHICLES ..MY DAUGHTER AND I FOUND A LOADED HANDGUN FULLY LOADED CLIP IN THE CENTER CONSOLE OF THE LOANER!!! IHAD ALL 3 OF MY GRANDKIDS IN THAT VEHICLE AND ONE OF THEM COULD HAVE GOTTEN THAT GUN .IT COULD HAVE CHANGED LIVES TAKEN LIVES AND ALL THE DEALERSHIP HAD TO SAY WAS IT WAS LEFT BEHIND BY A PREVIOUS CUSTOMER!!! I asked if they could look into the removal of roof rack, he said "sure" we will be in touch. Well, it's been 2 weeks, 3 texts and one phone call with voicemail left and an email to the salesman with the Bairel GM cc'd, no one to this day has contacted me back. Ok, so you don't want to, or can't remove roof racks, at least let me know SOMETHING! After multiple communications from me to Bairel, they never responded, that's not business to me. Bait and switch dealership. Told (Justin) me car was in stock both when I called in morning and 15 minutes before arriving. I canceled meetings in afternoon. Then when I arrived, they (Justin and his boss) said car sold two minutes ago and they had another car (2 years older) for me to see. Really?? I called 15 minutes ago as I was driving up. Sleazy organization. Can't imagine what the service department does. Buyers beware!! What a BAIT AND SWITCH organization. Avoid this dishonest dealership at all costs!! Had my F150 FX4 in for a misfire and a noise. It was determined that both were covered by the warranty and Jack the mechanic Mike the serve guy helped to organize so I only had 1 charge for the deductible instead of doing on 2 separate trips for 2 separate deductibles. I know it's not a lot of money, but every penny counts and they definitely went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. The repair took a couple hrs longer than expected, and they not only let me know early the day I was supposed to pick it up, but coordinated my rental for the extra day and Ford covered everything. I have a mechanic in the immediate family so I have a "spoiled" level and expectation of service, and Mike and Jack made my experience with Baierl Ford one that has earned my repeat business. I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. No problems with the time I waited or the service. The problem I had was the complete lack of consideration and safety of the customers. There were two signs posted (one on the outside door and one entering the service area) that "masks must be worn to enter". There was also a sign inside on the counter that said " We follow all CDC safety guidelines". Neither of the two agents behind the check in counter wore masks. Neither did the customer in the waiting room. Neither did any of the technicians entering or working in the service area. I waited outside because I didn't want the exposure. There were no benches or outdoor seating. I sat on a guard rail or stood outside the entire time waiting for my truck. If they sanitized my vehicle when they were done they never told me. There was a complete lack of concern for medically compromised customers. read more

Roxie is the person I deal with in service. He's absolutely wonderful. I have two older cars and Baierl has taken care of them both for inspections and having work done on them. Everything is always explained in detail so you can understand it. I always feel very comfortable having them take care of my vehicles. The service department is an integral part of a dealership. Please be aware that this has been the most horrendous car buying experience I have ever had. I was a returning customer to this location to purchase another vehicle and trade in my previous vehicle that was purchased at this dealership. I had called ahead to confirm availability of a vehicle I had seen on your web site and ended up spending over 5 hours waiting for the vehicle to be inspected and emissions tested. Apparently the mechanic had inappropriately performed the emissions test and I had to wait until the vehicle could be taken of the lot to get enough gas in it to repeat the test. During my wait there 3 different sets of customers came into the dealership hours after me and completed their purchase while I was there hours after them waiting. Then the next day when I went to register my vehicle with my insurance agent, I was informed that I had tire coverage which was built into my insurance policy and was advised to cancel the coverage because the coverage was less expensive via my insurance agent. I made a call to the dealership and spoke with the salesman (Larry) that sold me both my trade in vehicle and the new vehicle and was advised that I would need to speak with the finance officer (Kevin) and was transferred to his extension. I left a message on his voice mail and did not receive a call back that day so, I called back the next day and again did not receive a call back. I then spoke with the service manager (Frank) who advised me that they were very busy the day before and so was Kevin but that he would walk my request for a call back to Kevin office directly. When Kevin did call me back and I explained the situation he began to tell me that the coverage was not the same and why I should not cancel the coverage with Baierl. After I told him I was not going to change my mind and that I wanted to cancel the coverage and receive a refund for the purchase price, he said "what is your insurance agent a car salesmen now" and then he asked me for the name and phone number of my agent. When I refused to give him my agents phone number he became very belligerent and told me that I was not going to be receiving any refund and that the a credit would be issued to the financing bank ( despite the fact I had issued a $3000 check in addition to my trade in). I told him that was fine and he became more belligerent and told me that it would take 12 weeks or more to issue the refund.I then told him that I was going to be calling Bank of America who was the financing bank and explain to them what was happening, Kevin told me that he advised me not to do that because It was going to be a while before he processed the agreement and continued to persuade me not to cancel the tire service which I was charged $599 for. After speaking with the finance officer Kevin, I called back and spoke with the location manager and he informed me that he agreed that he had seen me sitting there for more than 5 hours and said I should have offered to leave and come back when the vehicle was ready - taking no responsibility whats so ever for the way I was treated the day of the purchase or the way I was spoken to by the finance officer Kevin. He further explained to me why I was given such a low $$ amount for my trade in despite the fact the Kelly Blue Book Trade in Value was $2000 more than what I was offered and despite the fact my trade in had more features than the new purchase, including a remote starter. He then told me I was charged a maintenance fee of $1000 to inspect my trade in and detail it, despite the fact I had it detail a week prior to trading it in. At the time of trade in, I also provide a receipt for four new tire which cost me $365 two months prior, a receipt for a new Die Hard Battery which cost $225 and a receipt as proof that I had complied with the Ford Power Steering Recall for the vehicle. There were no incentives offered or requested, despite me being a loyal returning customer to this dealership, being patient as I was inconvenienced waiting for the service department and then being bullied not to cancel the unnecessary tire coverage by the finance officer Kevin who refused to return my calls. I can guarantee you that I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership and that I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filing a civil law suite against Baierl for a full and timely refund if one is not issued. Set up appointment for service and got called at 3 pm in the afternoon that they were short a mechanic and not sure I would get my vehicle looked at. Miraculously at 4:30 I get a call that my vehicle was done. I go in to pick it up and was told there was nothing wrong with my car (left turn signal often does not turn off, automatic headlights take upward of 30 seconds - in a tunnel - to turn on). When I questioned them they told me the light timing was "in tolerance" and they could not find anything wrong with my turn signal. Basically, they turned on my turn signal in the garage and moved the wheel and it turned off so it is deemed working. The "tolerance" of the automatic headlights probably wasn't even looked at. Bottom line - I'm pretty sure they didn't even look at my car (no mechanic remember?). I guess my wife yelling at me that my turn signal is still on is just a figment of my imagination as well as maybe I didn't take my sunglasses off going into the tunnels and it just looked like my headlights were off. Had a great "buying" experience from this dealership, but would not recommend their service/repair department. After buying a car in July, I needed service on the reverse camera since it wasn't working properly. I called for three weeks just to secure an appointment and when I did get one (and drove an hour to get there), the service men had no idea what I was talking about and wanted me to "come back" or call their Appointment Scheduler. I didn't get any repair work done...needless to say. And will obviously be taking my vehicle to another dealership for repair work in the future. read more

I traveled to Pittsburgh for my independent contractor work between August 1 to September 1. My Ford work van was damaged in an accident on August 2, and I took my business to Baierl collision repair. I am still without a vehicle 2 months later. The repairs are covered under the other insured driver at fault, and were estimated to be completed before September. Someone missed some damage and it took an additional estimate, and another month to complete. After over a month of hearing misinformation and unanswered phone calls from Baierl Collision center, I am aware it will now be into October before I can get my van back and return to my work in Mississippi. I can't afford more than a month off of work, can you? Even my insurance agents say this is ridiculous, Baierl is giving you the run-around, and I have a right to complain. I am now exercising that right. I'm ready for a straight answer now. read more
