I have to say that prior to stopping at this location, my opinion of Jiffy Lube in general was…read morepretty low. I had gone to the McKnight Rd location 7 times over the course of a few weeks to get my car inspected. Every time, I was told to come back later or leave my car. Unfortunately, my schedule made it difficult most times, but I even rearranged things to make a Saturday morning work, only to be told to come back later or leave my car. I knew I needed work done and didn't have the option to leave my car, but I was willing to wait. They, however, were not willing to have me wait, so I came back first thing Sunday morning to the same story. The manager then told me to try the location in Sharpsburg, so trusting her, I drove all the way there only to find out that they did not have a technician to do state inspections. After trying a 3rd location (another recommendation) on Baum Blvd, I was ready to give up, but I decided to call the Wexford location to see if they'd be able to help. The second that someone picked up the phone, everything was different. She genuinely cared, and told me they'd be waiting for me. When I pulled up, 3 guys came up to me immediately and asked how they could help. When I explained what had happened, they promised they'd get me taken care of quickly. While 2 of them brought my car in to get started, the 3rd brought me into the lobby and offered me coffee, a place to sit, and a tv to watch. I never expected that I would end up spending over 4 hours sitting there, but like I said, I knew my car needed work. My brakes and rotors were bad and needed to be replaced, but there was no driver to deliver the parts. The manager, who was also working on my car, drove to get the parts himself. And when he realized they gave him the wrong ones, he made the trip again. I was amazed at the level of customer service I received from this location. This was by far the best experience at a Jiffy Lube ever, and also the only reason I will continue coming back.

The cabin filter is behind the glove box and the loose access door prevents the glove box door from operating properly. The tech was extremely rude when I told them the glove box door didn't work correctly. I had to order a new cabin air filter access door and install it correctly. I asked them to refund the charge for the air filter and pay me for the new access door. I have gotten no response from them

The prices are great too, just about what it would cost me to do oil/filter change myself. I'll definitely be back!

I have been taking my 2 vehicles to this same Midas center for years. During my last visit in…read moreOctober 26 I took my one vehicle there for an oil change and a tire rotation which I waited while the service was being performed. The first thing that happened was they used the incorrect oil filter which caused it to dump every bit of the oil onto their garage floor as soon as they started the car. The next thing was after the mechanic cleaned up the oil he climbed into my vehicle with oil soaked covered shoes heavily covered and oil and leaving it everywhere. All over the mat and carpet. Not to mention oiled covered hands and oil over everything he touched. Finally when things were done and on my way home, my vehicle was making a very loud whining sound so I pulled off the side of the road to discover they never put the air cleaner cover back on. After this and when I got home to further clean up their mess, I found where I had 3 chrome caps that cover the lug nuts were missing along with another half dozen that were cracked due to them using a air impact wrench that was most definitely set to high. Finding this I did call them and they said that they would replace the lug nuts and would call when the order came in. Being several weeks I called them and now it's like they don't know anything about it or anything about ordering me new ones. So at this point after close to Ten Years of using them my go to place for 2 Vehicles, it needless to say I will never return to for service again. To think I replaced all of my lug nuts myself for approximately $20, they could have kept me as a 2 Vehicle customer if I would have gotten call backs and if they would have showed they want to make things right.

After moving closer to Pittsburgh a few years ago, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of repair shops near...and by how middling some experiences were! About a year ago, I took my car to this Monro on a whim, since I needed some fast work done. I was blown away by the service and decided to come back the next time I needed work done. Each experience here has been great. The folks who work here are capable and talented. And, most importantly, honest and clear. I never feel like I'm being pressured into work that doesn't need to be done, and John (the manager) is always up-front about costs and time (Malik, the assistant manager, is also a joy to deal with). I don't *like* having work done on my car, but entropy happens and cars age and need work. With this in mind, I'm still happy to visit this Monro when I need to have work done--it's also a good experience.

While not the typical place I go to, I had used this shop a few years prior to get new tires put on. I called ahead that my car was being towed to the shop and would like a diagnostics check. They replaced my battery to be able to do the diagnostics, which I approved. Once the diagnostics came back, it confirmed the bad alternator, and a few other things. I declined any further work on the vehicle and had it towed by my Dad out of the shop on 5/23 until I decided what work I wanted done on it. I was out of town for work but was able to inspect my car on 5/25 w hen I returned. Upon looking at my car, I noticed that my battery cover was missing but the new battery, put in by the shop, was there. I called the shop and got through to speaking to someone on 5/27 to ask about my battery cover being missing. They let me know they would go check for it and call me back in a few minutes. They never called back so I called the next day on 5/28. The customer service agent told me they were busy with another customer and that someone would call me back within the hour. It's now 5/29 and no one has called me back and it's looking like they lost and/or choosing to not rectify their mistake. I didn't expect them to reinstall the cover, even though it was their mistake. I just wanted it back and would install it myself. I would avoid going here simply for the fact that them choosing to not return calls or even be honest about the situation (Ex. "We lost your battery cover" or "We forgot to reinstall your battery cover").

I drove my vehicle to them for an inspection, and afterward I was given only two options: either pay to have my vehicle TOWED at my own expense, or spend thousands of dollars on repairs with them. The reason my vehicle could no longer be driven was because they broke a part of the brake system while working on it. What was even more unbelievable was that they refused to accept responsibility for the damage. I simply asked them to fix the part they had broken and return my vehicle to me in safe, drivable condition. They eventually repaired it, but I was still charged for the repair of the part that they had broken. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying away from this place. I also find many of the positive reviews difficult to reconcile with my experience.

I knew that was a load of BS. So, I took my car to another repair shop where they had no issues completing the repairs I wanted. There was no weak excuse of broken frame, the repairs were just done. In fact, they knew the car was in very good shape for its age. Unlike Strother Bro's. Who did not want to be bothered. I'll keep this quick since you have already wasted enough of my time. Yes, this was the correct business. I keep records of my car's repair history. I still the "inspection report" and the texts I received from the staff saying they could not service vehicle because the excuse they pulled out of their arse.
