They have four dim lit rooms with spa meditation sound for tranquility and relaxation. Today, I came to alleviate my sore back muscles due to the vigorous activity that I did this past weekend. ;D Shhhh! It was my first time at this massage parlor after walking past by it for nearly a decade. I procured a combo (Thai x Deep Tissue) service which cost $60 bucks. Their massage bed-table was covered with clean white sheets and facial head tissue. Moreover, the massage room was clean, neat and odorless. My female massage therapist was great! She applied the correct pressure points on my body and can be adjusted accordingly. After I was serviced, my muscle soreness, especially my lower back, were gone. Prices were competitive. I made one the next day with Arturo. I chose the Thai/Swedish combo. For one hour, the price was $60. The owner was really nice and helpful. The experience was great. This is a no frills massage place but the quality of the massage was one of the best I've ever had. Arturo was very attentive to my problem spots and taught me a little about pressure points along the way. You could tell he loves what he does. I had a massage with Moon. It was great. He's a heavier guy, so when he was stepping on me, the pressure was on point for me. Moon occasionally checked with me on the pressure, but overall it was quiet (which I liked). I discovered Bai-Po through Groupon and they were very easy going about it. I couldn't find the parking lot as I was running late and rushing but I was able to find parking in the residential area - yes, not super nice. The parking lot entrance is on Vermont, but you'll need to head North. Tip is to plan ahead as that area can get congested. read more

I called in last minute today cause I've been working nonstop for the last couple weeks and have accumulated quite a bit of back pain and soreness in my feet. They got me in an hour from calling! The place itself is a renovated house that's tucked into the corner next to House of Pies - I walked so parking wasn't necessary but I imagine it's a bit difficult, so plan on extra time to find something. They keep the front door locked at all times, but knock quietly and they'll come fetch you. The place smells fantastic and is the perfect kind of dimly lit you want from a massage parlor. They have a small water feature and soft music playing through which is heavenly. I chose this place off Yelp because the reviews mentioned specific employees which was quite affirming as someone who's never gone alone. Minnie was my masseuse and she was incredible! She immediately found two massive knots in my back and was very communicative, and upgraded me to hot stones for free since she felt it would be more effective. It very much was. I have had a lot of massages at a lot of different places, including Thailand, and this was the most unpleasant. The masseuse was so reckless, rough, and unprofessional. She was on the phone the whole time taking new appointments and calling other masseuses to come in for shifts, at one point actually threw the phone on the bed and hit my head. I've had good massages here but recently I made a reservation here for 3:30pm and it was a very underwhelming experience. First, they called me an hour before and asked if I could move things around to come in at 3pm. I said no, I couldn't but I could maybe try for 3:15 if I rushed. They said fine, and then I got another call a few minutes later saying that if I couldn't come in at 3pm, they would have to cancel. So I rushed and got there at 3:05pm. The masseuse rushed me in and I proceeded to get a very tense, rushed, and nervous deep tissue massage in which she even forgot to put oil on, and it hurt. I've never felt so rushed and hurried and like the masseuse didn't want to be there. Then when she said it was over, I looked at my watch and it was only 3:50pm, and I had paid for an hour. I got dressed and went to the front desk and the man asked how much I'd like to tip on my card, with the masseuse standing there, putting me on the spot. I wanted to not tip at all, but since she was standing right there, I left a small tip on my card, though I could tell the moment she saw it she was upset. But I explained to the man at the desk that it felt rushed and I got basically a 45 minute massage and paid for an hour. I showed him the clock and he then said he was very sorry. I was over it by then and just wanted to leave, so I didn't waste more time arguing. Something strange must have been going on that day there, and I hope this was just an off day for them, because I'd like to go back, but I don't know if I will soon. My first visit to Bai-Po Spa & Thai Massage. The appointment was easy to book and request for a masseur fulfilled. The environment seemed clean, COVID compliment, and my safety and comfort were met by the staff. The massage table assigned to me did not have an opening for my face; therefore, on the days following my massage, my chin was quite tender. My masseur was extremely professional and did an excellent job. He adjusted pressure and techniques as needed and requested. Healing for the body! Quite frankly I can never get enough massages. This place in particular always leaves me feeling refreshed and relaxed after the massaged. I have been coming here for a few years now and they rarely ever leave me not wanting more. I have tried different masseuses and they all seemed to be well trained or are all good at what they do. The location I believe has enough for about 6 people so of course you do have to make an appointment each time. The good news if that you will most likely be helped right away. The staff here is also real friendly and are always concerned that your massage was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Parking can be difficult but worth if you make the effort to find one. Don't come too early from the time of your appointment because they won't help you earlier. Also the couples massage table is basically just a flat area and they don't have actual massage tables next to one another so they place a rolled up towel under your forehead instead. Alright.. let's do this, first 2021 Review. I was looking for a massage parlor near the pad. Been beyond stressed out and needed a massage badly. Looked up massage parlor and long behold, this place popped up. Looked sketchy with the pics online. I wasn't trying to come out on on news after a random raid. So strolled by and it looked legit. Walk ins welcomed. This would be my 2nd time at a parlor. First time I guess I screwed up by showing up around 4 or 5pm (many years ago) and the guy sat me on a chair and when he started it felt like he took a few shots at my head with his fist. So I assumed this would be the same or deal. I mentally prepared myself and was waiting for that fist but never came. I asked for a deep tissue massage.The masseuse walked me in a room and told me to take off my clothes. I was a bit hesitant and shy, but she seemed like a nice lady so I listened. The massage was 60minutes long. After the staff got off my back, I felt like a new man. Kidding, just two of them I think. No but in all honesty it was great. She hit all the spots but I mainly wanted my shoulders and upper back. I probably asked her a couple times if she could go back to that same spot but I guess she wanted to make sure to hit all. Waste of money. I was in pain the whole time. First off we came in early. I was told to wait outside while thwy are finishing up checking out their customer. That is totally fine. We then had to fill out questionairee then I went to the restroom and went straight to the room. My appointment was at 12 but when i laid down it was 12:15pm because of all that. The lady said that I should be out by 1:30pm when I paid a 90 minute massage. The filling out the paper shouldnt be counted especially when we came in early. The massage was just painful. I was never relaxed. I was in pain the whole time. It was way too hard and i said twice to make it softer. Theyre doing the massage really fast to rather than nice and slow. I was just glad when it was over. Yiu can hear the other people getting massages as well. Not coming back. They say it includes a "foot massage" My foor feets better when I get pedicure at a nail salon because they soak it in water and do a little scrub.
