I'd say - If you want a decent, light on self and pocket - this place wins: the meals are so good that you even have room for dessert and not feel guilty.. you do get the guilty pleasure moment for their standout dish - butter cake. I am little surprised the fish and chips don't get a lot of praise here and it def is praise worthy! Their fried calamari is a little on the oiler side.. but their Clam chowder, oh that compensates well! Now the drinks are another thing I ordered the Two by the sea, oh, for a weekday afternoon that drink was SMOOTH! Going to def the dinner service sometime for sure! But, don't SKIMP out on this place when in Tempe marketplace. The seafood is fresh, the atmosphere is amazing and old schooled inside and the service is quick!

Hi. I went to King's tonight for dinner. The food was amazing, but the Hisbus Limeade is a miss and…read moremy specifications for my meal were dismissed. I ordered some appetizers and a main meal. See receipt. However I stopped midway in my meal because I had to go, so asked for a bag and bowls to take my entree and sides. I was never offered to buy another drink or water or anything thw entire time, and I was there for at least an hour. I assume my specialty lemonade is not refillable for free which is fine but at least offer me more to drink or water. Something! Then my waiter took my spoon and fork very quickly before I was able to finish loading up the food, so I waited another 15 mins for her to come back to bring another fork. Then she said she would pack it. Um absolutely not and then I have to wait another 15 minutes for that? Hello I said I had to go!!!! At that point I called the restaurant from my seat after getting ghosted again to see if I could do tap pay and go. They said yep, since my waiter seems to not be around. Needless to say $000000 tip because your service is terrible and really needs to be restrained with customer service and multitasking. #SelectaDifferentWaiterIfUgo #NotIsabelle

This is the original location that haas been there for years, but they've expanded to a few other locations. This location is small but it's cute and the staff is really friendly. You can order online for their regular menu but they had some specials this weekend (sign up for the emails because you can see the specials at leach location and you get a code for a free cookie for your birthday) so we called in. Food was ready in 15 minutes. We got the lobster roll which is Connecticut style-my preference-with lots of butter! They had a fish and chips special so we got that too. And a pb&j cookie for my birthday! My husband very recently broke his leg so picking up Chulas with some great lobster was a nice treat! It's not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Very fresh, high quality seafood. They have great poke and a great fish market if you want to pick up raw seafood to cook at home. Definitely a little gem in SoSco.

Being the desert, the quality of Seafood is important, since we are nowhere near seawater and the reputable Chula Seafood is here to serve us, desert dwellers, well. TUNA MELT- it's refreshing to have a tuna sandwich that is not canned tuna. There is a chimichiri sauce that you can get to drizzle on it that really gives a depth of flavor. The bread was a nice sourdough that was not just a cheap white bread and did not get soggy. However, with my sandwich, the bread was burnt so that bitterness ruined the flavor of the delicate fish. My pictures shows a few burnt spots, but on the bottom side was way more burnt and it was like they put the most burnt side on the bottom to hide it and hope I didn't notice. I did not appreciate this. CLAM CHOWDER- creamy and more on the fluid consistency, being made with fresh clams makes the difference. Not the best chowder i've had, but was pretty decent. The fish variety can vary with seasons, but it is nice to get different choices throughout the year. There are limited offerings here compared to the bigger location across town, as far as menu and fish selection. But for a small store it is a good place to get some quality seafood to take home or sit and eat. Check out the great happy hour deals

Not a terrible thing, I didn't to pull out my flashlight or anything, but still. I got the Pork Porterhouse, the seasonal ceviche, and the Me llama Rosa drink. Starting with the drink, I personally did not like it. It was VERY strong, and I was actually feeling it a bit as I was sipping it before dinner came out. I got it because it was on the sweet alcohol list, but I wouldn't really classify this as sweet. The ceviche and the pork porterhouse were SO good. The chips the ceviche came with were so light, and the ceviche itself was just so drool-worthy. The pork porterhouse was bigger than I expected, and I had a lot to take home after dinner. The pork was very tender, and I would 100% order the ceviche and porterhouse again. I also got to try the cut of the day, the sticky pork belly, the pescado, and the burger. I thought everything tasted really yummy, but I WISH I had rice for the sticky pork belly and the pescado. Those would HIT with rice lol. I think next time, I'd maybe order the sticky pork belly.
