We went as a family to enjoy a late afternoon treat. We decided to try something different as we know the shaved ice is delicious. The staff was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. We had the smoothie special (something delicious with strawberry) and added chocolate ice cream. It was creamy, delicious, and tasted like chocolate covered strawberries. It was a little pricey, but was huge so perfect for sharing with the fam. I will definitely be back for another smoothie. read more

We love Bahama Buck's so much! Today, we tried their BRAND NEW Açaí Bowl. I honestly was super skeptical, because I have had some nasty ones, but that was not the case this time! Last time coming here. Flavors are decent and prices are fair. But for the third week in a row (Saturday late mornings), my 3 year - daughter had to wait as people cut in line because they were on the same sports team as someone ahead of us and they have this rude mob mentality that they belong together even when they arrive much later. Waiting for 5 minutes is fine, or longer when they are busy. But I am done waiting 20 minutes because 10 people (or more) obnoxiously and obviously cut in line and the establishment doesn't do anything about it. Next time we'll get a slush at Sonic for less money and better customer sevice. read more

Always love going to this place. The staff is super friendly and always happy. I always get the white coconut with whatever else and the ice cream at the bottom. I'm a little bummed they don't have Blue Bell anymore (but that goes for the rest of us). My only knock is it gets backed up fairly quick and can take forever to get your order. I don't understand why every smoothie/coffee/drink bar doesn't operate like this. First off: this place is super inviting! I brought my wife and 2 kids for the first time and they were very happy with the space and accommodations. My son ordered the apple and wasn't prepared for the tartness... The staff replaced our order twice! In order to please his taste buds. AND, in the mean time our table was asked to be wiped. The establishment is Clean and the people are live and exciting. Usually i am very satisfied with this Bahama Bucks location, but have recently been very disappointed. I came in 5/22/14 and waited 35 minutes for my order to be taken and then, forgotten about. On 5/27/14 I ordered a shaved ice and it was once again, forgotten about. I did not even receive an apology. I offered constructive criticism and said to one of the employees, "Just some advice for the future, I would recommend writing down the orders of customers because this is the 2nd time in a row this has happened to me now. If I was your supervisor I would be very upset." The young kid was very respectful about it and did agree with me, however, as I watched the next few orders, he failed still to write them down. The shaved ice here is pretty good. They have a ton of flavors and options for a cold treat and the service and treats are typically consistent. In my opinion its still just shaved ice with a little bit of better presentation and a storefront. The best shaved ice Ive ever had was a stand in Hawaii and they had some more exotic flavors such as lychee. That stuff is AMAZING. All in all, if you are looking for shaved ice this is a sure bet to please you. read more

This place is awesome! Just got back from their "Snow Day" where everyone gets one free. I'll explain why I gave it 3-stars but first here are pros: Pros: -Great ice, and you can even buy snowballs from them. Very fun stuff. -Great flavors -they never give you a bad quality snow cone Cons: - High school kids pretty much run the place...which is fine. I love kids but when parents come in or parents of their friends come in and spend 15 min at the cash register chatting away with the kids and everyone is waiting for their order or to even take an order then it sucks. My wife and I have had two experiences now where we are standing there for 15 min and the cashier is engaged in a very long conversation with someones parent and neither of them seem to care. Somewhat disrespectful .... I think. I'm really happy it is a close knit community but bad service is bad service. We walked out both times and no one even acknowledged we were leaving. The kids don't care when they lose customers at all. read more

A ton of flavors to choose from, over 86 different flavors to be exact (I counted them). Enjoyable atmosphere, the staff was friendly and was able to give you a good description of flavors and help you with any questions you might have. The service was quick only a 5 minute or less to get shaved ice depending on how busy it is. As for space to sit, it is a little small only 6 booths to sit in. Each able to hold 4 people with ease, no chairs so don't bring large parties to stay unless you want to be a different tables. I plan on coming here again, hope my review helps you. read more

I really lked bahama bucks at first but they lost my respect when i found out they use apartame in their sugar free syrups which advertise stevia. I thought i found a healthy alternative to a cup full of sugar, but instead i find its worse. Will be back when my blood sugar levels are low. Owing to the fact that I am deathly allergic to dairy I have long pursued a treat that I could eat without fear or caution. Then I stumbled across Bahama Bucks. My husband's family had been going there for years. I crave their birthday cake, I get it with the dairy free cream they serve. I get it every time we go. In fact it is where I was proposed to by my husband. The young staff they have have always been friendly to us, and it seems that every week a new coupon comes out in the snail mail, so we oft go there. Great for families, and they have shaved ice available for snowball fights, which is fun. read more

First off this place is awesome! They have a huge variety of flavors to choose from. Birthday Cake is a really good flavor to get and getting it on your birthday espically. All the staff are very helpful and nice. The place is clean and pretty inside with the island theme. It's a GREAT place to bring kids, parents with all the shaved ice flavors and their amazing smoothies, and for adults aswell they even have blended coffees aswell.
