That was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Just thinking about it makes my mouth salivate. Was the perfect amount of chamoy, mango chunks, syrup...me personally I may have added some more salt/tajin on it, however it was so dang tasty. I definitely suffered a few brain freezes . The service was excellent. The young lady who helped us was very polite, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. She was very knowledgable and helpful as well. There were a few other families there when we arrived, but not too bad at all. Noise level was nothing horrible, and with noise being a trigger of mine, I was able to tolerate it just fine. I feel there were enough people working however the service was super slow. I ordered 3 and 2 were of the same flavor after a while my daughter finally got hers and finished before I was given the baby sized one but the baby sized and medium sized were the exact same flavors so idk why they wouldn't have made them together but they made one then did other orders then finally made mine. Also I dislike how the spoons are not accessible to customers I also had to wait to get an associates attention to be provided spoons. We've been wanting to try this place out, so when the temperature hit 90 degrees yesterday, we head over! Seeing as it was our first time, we stood in awe of the massive menu for awhile, waving another customer past us while we tried to decide, lol. So many flavors of shaved ice, plus smoothies and sodas. I got the large size and I swear they heaped an additional 4 oz into my 20 oz cup! Generous and appreciated on a hot day. Admittedly, the pricing is a bit high for what it is (ice and flavoring), but the extra the employees gave me made me feel better. Love the silly little umbrellas but my fave part had to be the color-changing spoon! (Nostalgia alert: I used to collect those out of cereal boxes.) The inside was immaculately clean, though they presently have the lobby seating roped off due to COVID concerns. They have restrooms down the hall. This was a really rough visit. This was our second and last visit. 1. Menu is large. There is so much to choose from it can't be quickly selected from the handheld menus. The drive they light up menu is very easy to read and comprehend. We all would have ordered something different had we seen it. 2. The female who took our order was very helpful to explain things, but ultimately took our order incorrectly - she confirmed we had 4 items when we had only 3 items. Later at the window, the same female acted as-if we didn't order 4 and was very rude about it. 3. When at the window after waiting about 10-15 min, we were greeted by a nice young woman who asked what my name was to confirm the order. She asked if we needed a receipt and I regret saying it wasn't necessary. She handed us two items of ice cream and no spoons. We patiently waited. She came back around 3-4 times and I kept requesting two spoons for the ice creams that we had already received. It did not happen, we never received spoons. 4. The female who took our order came to the window and asked what else were we waiting on. I told her the two items, the bahama Rama mama and the ice cream. She acted as if I was lying about not receiving these items. She also advised we had only ordered 3 items "because she remembered", but unfortunately didn't check any receipt. I took her word for it and requested she ring us up for the 4th item that we requested even in our original order. She rolled her eyes and started keying it in. I asked her twice for two spoons and she ignored me and I asked again. She gave me four forks to eat ice cream with. 5. They asked us to pull up. The gentleman working with her brought out the ice cream and was extremely rude. 6. No napkins were given to us. This played a role due to the overpacking of the bahama Rama mama since it made a large mess in my vehicle while it was sitting for 5 minutes while I fed my toddler his fruit cup. Image attached. We will never return to this business and when our friends ask to attend I will not purchase anything from this establishment again. My daughter cried because of how disappointed she was in the fruit cup and ice cream she had received. The scoop of ice cream was half the size of the two fruit cups originally made. I gave her some of her brothers since he is a toddler. This was really a traumatic experience. Prior to getting to the window and this experience happened, my daughter wanted to get the snowball package for her birthday, as well as a snow cone package. We were really stoked about what you had to offer prior to reaching the window and being treated in the fashion in which the female with the straight dark brown hair in a long ponytail and the teenager with the curly red hair treated us. This used to be be a great place to stop and get refreshing sno cones and slushes. But everytime we go now orders are wrong kids working don't care and don't even listen to the orders your giving them. The past 3 times that I have gone to Buda location orders have been wrong not even filling cups and exaggerating candies or add ons like its hassle to add them. This last time it felt that girl at the window was on drugs, after giving her my order and ph number ( for points) 3 times she still couldn't get it right and order came out wrong. I definitely won't be going back for a long while. Hopefully something changes cause its not working for now. I understand these guys are kids but there are plenty other places that hire minors and seem to get things right. About two thirds of the way down it was just the white plain shaved ice left. My mom's was the same with not enough syrup but I didn't get a pic of hers. For starters my biggest pet peeve is when they forget my candy stick that goes with my mangonada extreme. Recently went to Buda Bahama Bucks to participate in "free sno day" with my family. When we got to the window, the young lady with the red shirt and bow on her head was extremely and unnecessarily rude to us. She told us that we owed money with no explanation at all, which it would've been nice to know what we were paying for. After she closed the window you can see her talking to another employee and both looking back at us sitting in our car. It was quite odd behavior. She proceeded to give us the rest of our order with an attitude. Horrible customer service. The teens working there need to learn a thing or two about professionalism!!! My family and I came for the first time today and everyone loved their treats except for me After dropping off my family at the park down the road I came back and asked if they would give me a new shaved ice, they were so gracious and kind! To make ordering more efficient, there is someone taking orders on a tablet at your car window that makes his/her way down the line of cars.
