Omg they have sooooo many flavors we have been a couple times now and the snowcones are huge, a great value, there are tons of flavors, and they even have all natural flavors! They have a cute patio outside where you can sit and enjoy a chill environment. Service is pretty consistent. They tend to be a little heavy-handed with the syrup, so if you don't like it overly sweet make sure you tell them to go light on that. Overall, we recommend!! read more

We went with our daughter. She had told us they were amazing. I'm not a big fan of shaved ice so I wasn't planning to get one. After tasting theirs I had to get one. I got the baby size and it was the perfect size. I got the strawberry cheesecake. Yum!! Soo good. The flavor went all the way to the bottom of the cup. No ice was without the flavoring. My husband got a really sour one. He loves really sour things and liked the sour warhead spray they put over the already sour ice. My daughter got a sweet flavor and said she preferred the sour ones. They have lots of different flavors so it would be fun to experiment. read more

The last time I was at a Bahama Buck's was at the original location in Lubbock on the Brownfield Highway. As I recall, it was set up in a little pink wood shed with Christmas white lights strung all over and random picnic tables for Texas Tech students to hang out over a shaved ice. I think the owner had set the stand up as a way for his kids to earn money for their college funds. Fast forward to today and it is all grown up! Of course, I had to get the original Bahama Rama Mama with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, banana shaved ice, banana colada & cream. Took me back to the late 80's-early 90's. This location looks pretty outdated from the outside, so if I hadn't had the product before I'd be a bit cautious. Decided to try it out despite my negative teenage employee experience's at other locations only to have the same here. The young lady who checked me out had an attitude despite me spending a decent amount of money during tough times. Her and the male counterpart continued to gossip about me and the customer's behind me in the drive thru right in front of my face. Completely unprofessional. The variety of flavors is insane, including a sweet cream that just adds that "extra" yumminess to any flavor. What I love is they offer a new healthy (flavoring) version, more natural and less calories. I opted for the mango with cream, and my daughter had the healthy pineapple flavor (no cream) and both were great. We also asked for Chile salt and sour salt on the side, gave out shaved ice a little kick. The store is super cute, very clean. And the staff was great, all three of the young women working were very kind, helpful and cheerful which is a rarity these days! We ordered the KOKOMOKO Smoothie (dark chocolate mixed with cola and mocha java), the FUNKY MONKEY smoothie (coconut flavoring, rich chocolate creme, 3 whole bananas and pineapple juice) and a Green Apple shaved ice. All three were impressive!! It's so exciting when they hand it to you with a ton of cool whip topping, a bright red cherry and an adorable umbrella ~ so creative visually!! Obviously delicious for a 5 Star rating, lol. The prices range from $2.00 - $6.00 each depending on what you order. I also like that calories are posted with each item -- really helped me to pick something that stayed within my range. You can buy party packs.. and snow balls! No joke. It's a small cozy building that feels like you stepped into the Bahamas! The branding is on point with the decor and colors. A fantastic place to hang out. There is seating outside and inside. I love the shaved ice, I love the flavors, but most of all, I love the service! This place gets crowded in the summertime, yet I'm always greeted with a smile and great attitude when I come here. This place provides great "good old fashioned customer service". I think it's a rule that to work here you need to be a happy person. This place is family oriented and typically has teenagers and families packing the building non-stop. I'm always anxious to try new flavors and see what my kids choose. I love the sour flavors and my kids love the pink lemonade. They have a Game Center when you first walk in, so you and the family can play a board game while you enjoy you yummy shave flavored ice. The only warning I would say I need to give is "watch out for the brain freeze". This place is always clean and just has a great overall fun feeling to it. My kids love having family time here; they typically complain about dining in house at most laces. I'm glad to have a place this awesome to bring the family to for great night. read more

I freaking love the consistency of the sno at BB, but sadly the two locations in McKinney are HORRID. The owners basically turned it over to the teens and if you go there it's a 30-45 min wait NO MATTER WHAT. It's ridiculous I'd have to drive to another town to get this, but it is what it is. Located about three minutes from 75 and McDermott is Allen's BB location. Right away I'll let you know that thankfully it's not owned by the BeShears who own the McKinney location, which you can absolutely tell by how quickly you get service. Three cars ahead of me in the drive thru took me 4 minutes. I'm not kidding. 4 minutes from ordering to Sno deliciousness. The young guy working was super nice and I noted that they all wear uniforms here and there's ample area inside to enjoy your treats. I keep pondering why this location is so good and the other so poor. I'm glad though because even though I have to drive a bit more to get it, at least I can get it. read more

It was free snow cone day for some reason, so I wanted to go check it out. This was definitely one of the better sno cones places that I've tried in Dallas. The ice was finely shaved and it just melted in your mouth. There were a variety of flavors to choose from and multiple toppings that you could choose. I had the strawberry cheesecake which was really good and then I just added condensed milk when I got home and so it just hit the spot!! They also put enough syrup to cover all of the ice without having too much when you get to the bottom, which I think requires skill! The only thing is that it's pretty pricy for just ice and syrup...just sayin. Other than that, it's a nice treat to cool off with in the upcoming hot weather. read more

Love, love, love this place! My kids love coming here as a special treat when school starts in the summer and ends the following summer. They love seeing all the new flavors and it blew their mind when they found out they actually get to try flavors before I force them to decide what they wanted. All are really good and really load up the syrup into their cups. I think they secretly want to send me home with hyped up kids, you know like grandparents do, but well it makes my kids happy and that makes me happy. I do suggest trying a few flavors and then try new combos as you go. My youngest likes pineapple and rootbeer together...well on each half of the ice. While my oldest like fanta and candy corn. See? Weird. Or it could be my kids are just weird. I love the frozen koko? Oh why can't I remember the correct spelling! Anyway hot cocoa just frozen. Really chocolatey and just plain good. We always drive by here but never had a chance to come in. After dinner nearby, I decided to continue the fatassery and get a shaved ice from here. We went through the drive thru, and got ourselves a small shaved ice with mango syrup and condensed milk. This was very big for a small size! Definitely shareable among two people. The shaved ice was pretty good. A little too sweet for my taste, so next time I'd probably get a sugar free syrup to lessen the sweet flavor. There are actually so many flavors to choose from, which is pretty impressive! Also they come with a variety of toppings, including ice cream. I almost wanted to put ice cream, but I remembered we have vanilla blue bell at home. Adding ice cream made the shaved ice even better. Bahama Buck's is located on the east side of Allen, which is a little quiet. I haven't been inside, but from the drive thru window, it looks like an oasis and a fun vibe overall inside. Despite the fact that I cringe when I pay (it's like the Starbucks of sno-cones), I love Bahama Bucks. I was not a fan of shaved ice until I came here, and I've had more sno-cones in the past year then I've had in my life. What I love most about Bahama Bucks is the variety of drinks you can get so that everyone is happy. If I don't want a sno-cone, I can get a smoothie, or a lemonade, or a coffee drink, or even mixed fruit with whipped cream. I'm a fan! read more
