So i looked into it, called around and she was right. They have the best prices on unlimited plans. I have had a membership with them now for almost a year I pay $40 a month and go around 8 to 10 times a month. I have the gold level but the salon almost always has some kind of promotion going on, unlike most places their promotions include current members( not just new ones). I think close at least a quarter of the months I've paid were ungraded to the platnium level for free plus you earn credit on your account to use on things like spray tans or lotions. This month I think They have me like $35 dollars To use on any thing I wanted. The longer you have a membership the more perks you get. I have spent around $250 total and received what would have cost around $1000 maybe more of single sessions. There is only 1 place in ogden cheaper but they have older beds and they don't change the bulbs very often so you won't get the results your wanting. IF YOU WANT QUALITY BEDS THAT PROVIDE RESULTS YOU CAN SEE AFTER EACH VISIT AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE. YOU SHOULD GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE WITH AUTO PAY. IT BY FAR THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN. Never judge a book by its cover! I would like to start by saying that Tanning Oasis is a great place to tan. They are affordable and the VIP packs are the best way to go, and upgrades are within reason. The owners are great too and have always taken care of me. Now, today is Christmas Eve. I called earlier to see if they were open and what time they closed, I also said that I wanted to get a spray tan so I was glad, they said they closed at 3. In between last minute things I hurried to make it in time. I got there at 245 and was told that I couldn't spray tan, the machine was down for maintenance. I was clearly confused because if it closes 30 minutes before why didn't they tell me 230 when I called? Why isn't that posted anywhere? Anyways, I was frustrated and all I got was an, "I'm sorry", followed with a complimentary eye roll. I did reply, "no you're not" and proceeded to my bed. Funny thing is, I wasn't going to tan today, especially that late, because it is Christmas. However, after that display I did tan, and they ended up not getting out of there until 3:15. Anyways, I was bummed but went to my room, #4, it was at that time that I overheard the two ladies talking about the situation, ending it with "it's Christmas, be nice!" Well ya know, it is Christmas and I am sorry that you have to work, but my guess is, you're getting paid. Right? I just signed up for VIP, bought a lotion, and tried to pay for an upgrade today. I think customers like me are the very reason that you have a job. If you're made you're working on Christmas Eve, find a job that isn't retail. That said, it's Christmas, I too have things to do but I wanted to use the services that I pay for, during your business hours, and i ended up inconveniencing your schedule. If you want to talk about someone, especially someone who is paying for services that out food on your table, I suggest you do it behind closed doors.

Anyway, I have to drive a few miles out of the way to get to Clearfield, but this salon makes my time worth it. They frequently have deals on their website for percentages off packages and other services. The best part about Darker Image is that you don't have to be a "club member" to purchase unlimited months of tanning nor do you have to sign up for EFTs that you must cancel in writing. Their pricing is straightforward and fair. Period. The staff is helpful and the facilities are clean: arguably the most weighty factors in choosing a salon. They also leave a Jolly Rancher on the towel in each clean bed as a fun little bonus. It's not much, but it communicates that they care about customers' experiences of their facility. I'm taking off one star because Darker Image claims that all their beds are one level higher than other beds in the area (Level 1 is comparable to our competitor's Level 2 and so on). I can confirm that their Level 1 beds are indeed Level 1's, and their stand up is definitely just a standard Level 2 stand up. I've used plenty of beds levels 1-4 and can spot bulb wattage pretty easily. This definitely shouldn't discourage you from using Darker Image, just know that you're likely not getting anything here you wouldn't get elsewhere. I highly recommend Darker Image Tanning if you're looking for a clean, affordable tanning salon--I plan to be a long-time customer! EDIT: I forgot to mention their hours. They're unbelievable! Open 7 days a week and as late as 10 p.m. on weeknights.
