The displays were very pretty, the lighting was nice, and everything was clearly marked. I didn't have trouble finding what I needed. The staff was helpful when it came to check out. I opted to use the cashier service several times and the cashiers were always very friendly. The times that I used the self-checkout, their attendant was very courteous as well. So, I…read moreremembered that my sister told me about this grocery store very close-by on Sherbrooke street that also makes custom-made salad bowls - but cheaper than Mandy's. So I tried it out last Saturday. For $9 + taxes, I made my own salad which included, my base (I chose 1/2 lettuce, 1/2 kale), my protein (tuna), 5 toppings (chick peas, edamame, sliced carrots, mangos and purple cabbage) and my dressing (spicy thai). It was delicious!! Not a huge salad but perfectly dressed and way cheaper than Mandy's. Sure, it limits me to 5 toppings but maybe that's enough! I took it to go as the place isn't very inviting. Check it out sometime and I will be going back!
