Being part Mediterranean I have been going to this supermarket since I was a baby. Not this location exactly. Anything and everything is there. Food, toiletries and cookware. Service is always friendly and the staff are usually there to answer your questions. The environment is clean and tidy. Always restocked with is something I appreciate . The produce are always fresh. If you don't like cooking, there's a wide variety of cooked meals from meats, salads, breads, cooked vegetables and rice. Don't waste your money and go to a fast food lebanese restaurant. Come here instead and get there value chicken meal deal for a fraction of the price. This meal can feed 4 people. Lots of parking but they are a bit tight. Adonis is usually the first flyer I'll look at. I'm proud this supermarket blew up all around Canada. These pictures are my go to's when I go there. read more

Thieves! I was looking for marzipan. I bought 2 rolls. They were 16$ each!! But I figured ok. Those are today's prices even if it's disgusting. But then I found exactly the same ( brand, size, identical) for 6$ a roll at IGA !!! AVOID this den of thieves! Disgusting! read more

How fun is this store? Okay I didn't buy anything, but I wanted to buy everything! I don't know the quality of the food as I said I didn't buy anything, but I appreciated the variety. So Adonis is a super market. It had fruits, veggies, a butchery, premade food, other food merchandise, etc. They were ensuring a certain number of people were in the store which was nice as it was the near "spike" of omicron and they also make you get your hand sanitized! Gosh, Canadians are totally doing this right. What really amazed me was the store made goods. I'm not sure the quality but I wanted to eat all the food and pastries. We did end up getting a chocolate bar which was good. So from just looks, I give this place a thumbs up! Definitely check it out if you're in the area. read more

This is a well appointed and reasonably priced market in the greater Dix30 complex. I usually make a point at stopping at Dix30 on my way back to the US after leaving MTL but this visit was my first time venturing outside of the main Dix30 area into the perimeter strip mall areas with larger big box stores. We honestly weren't even sure what type of store this was until we got closer to the entrance but we were intrigued by the name, lol. Nothing particularly lusty here but lots of quality grocery items at lower prices than what we paid for the same or similar items in MTL. The store is not particularly fresh or new but has all your essential groceries and an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables. In other words, it's not Whole Foods, but more like your local mid-priced grocer. We were primarily interested in purchasing maple products and some of the more unusual jams, jellies, cheese accompaniments and cookies that I've only been able to find in Canada. They also had chocolate fondues and cheese fondues here at much more reasonable prices than markets in MTL. The checkout lines seem kind of long but moved quickly. Cashier was friendly. I'd certainly stop back here on future on the way into MTL to stock up on groceries if staying in an Airbnb. Way better prices than on island. read more

Je fréquente Adonis depuis son ouverture. Les produits sont excellents et les prix raisonnables. je ne peux en dire autant de quelques membres du personnel qui ne sont pas  "customer oriented " c'est le moins que l'on puisse dire. Ce matin, j'ai demandé pour un produit que je ne trouvais pas à une jeune femme aux cheveux longs châtains qui jasait avec une blonde au libre service. je me suis fait répondre que si je ne le trouvais pas c'est qu'il n'y en avait pas. J'ai insisté pour qu'elle vérifie auprès des gens compétents, mais elle est partie sans me répondre, je l'ai pourchassé dans l'allée elle ne s'est même pas retournée et elle est allée jaser avec une autre employée à l'arrière. J'ai constaté à quelques reprises que Cette employée est particulièrement écervelée et se fout du service à la clientèle. Je remarque aussi qu'en l'absence du personnel senior il y a un relâchement marqué dans le service à la clientèle. Cette situation est propre à Adonis, on ne verrait jamais ce genre de comportement chez Metro, entre autres. read more

I had been hearing about this great and amazing Adonis on the south shore and finally had to try it. First, the parking is super tight and, Normal cars can barely fit in, not sure if the whole shopping center is like that or not. The layout is pretty much the same as others,, but there was barely any lineup except at the grill counter. They do have a couple of things going for them: 1) an eat-in section and 2) they can actually grill or fry your seafood on the spot (4 to 5 dollars a kilo extra) Aside from the cashier, the servers at the deli counter were definitely surly and didn't seem to be enjoying their job. The prices are gonna be the same, they do have a few things i have not seen in the olives section that are nice. Is it worth a trip just for that, not really, but i guess it's a welcome addition for people who live around here. read more

This is my second time at the Adonis Dix30. It's Monday and boy was my experience here better then the first time. I went on a Saturday at noon (no!no!). Service was very good. They were all smiles at all the counters and I didn't wait at all to be served. If you go for what's on sale, you can actually get a whole lot of things for not too expensive! At the fish counter, you can choose your fish and they can cook it up for you the way you want it (at an extra cost)! The marinated meats are delicious! The sides are really good! The sweets are out of this world! The bakeries makes my mouth drool! I don't know why some reviews mentioned the bad attitude from the staff because EVERYONE was very courteous with me (on both occasions)!The only thing I don't recommend is going there during the weekend. As a matter of fact, I don't recommend going to Quartier Dix30 on the weekends. ;) read more

The south shore finally has an Adonis! It's everything you would expect like the other locations. Great produce and meats. Their take-away counter in the back is great to handle quick suppers that maybe didn't get prepared the night before. It is very busy here on the weekends. So aim to go Sat or Sun when they open, or during the week. read more

So, I called here on Monday June 27 around 6 PM to ask about bottled water. This woman who sounded lazy, and unhelpful picked up and then kept trying to get me off the phone. I explained that it's a bit of a drive for me. Oh and she barely speaks English/French. Frankly she sounds perhaps Lebanese. Over 7 minutes later some nice competent fellow gets on the phone and says he'll check. Then she gets back on the phone and starts speaking incoherent English again. What do you want? What do you need? You have to tell me! Then she's screaming in the background (YELLING) and I keep hearing the word 'water'. Then he gets on again and says he cannot divulge this over the phone. And, adds that this woman is a Manager. To which I replied that the level of incompetence is flabbergasting. Adonis Brossard has decent prices. Although the inventory changes all the time. The main draw is their delicious hummus, which also varies in consistency. And, be sure the check the date. We have purchased when it was close to expiration. Great looking produce, competitive pricing, very lightweight on the organic selection. Prepared food counters. Nothing especially healthy. I enjoy the spanakopita. It's heavy on the dough. The oils that they use in their salads are not premium. They don't really specify. Customer service...you're not getting that for these prices. As a customer who lives downtown and who typically buys organic, I regularly go to Brossard for groceries. I buy from Avril and Lufa primarily. Sometimes Tau. I pretty much only go to Adonis for water if they have it for a good price and hummus and maybe some fruit that is ok to eat non organic. I have occasionally grabbed frozen wild fish, if it looks good quality. read more

This is my first experience in an Adonis stores. I heard a lot of good things about it. The good: The prices for fruits and vegetables are good. In general, prices are good. They have a lot of interesting imported products. The place is huge! They have a very interesting meat, and fish, and bread, and cheese counter for service. They also have a very nice ready-to-go counter. Cash service is kind of quick (on a Saturday afternoon), and the cashier we got was nice. They have A LOT of biologic and healthy foods. The bad: Some veggies are rotten so you have to dig to find a good one. Counters are VERY busy, take a number! Some prices are NOT competitive at all, so it is good to know your prices. Old looking metal shelves. In the end, this might become our new grocery place as we are changing our diet to a healthier one, and they have a lot of choices, at great prices. As far as the items at a non-competitive price, compared to what we save, it will be worth the purchase. read more

I like the store and shop there often. Quality is generally very good and many unique items... I have had a couple of problems so far: Fresh fish was not fresh at all so I don't by my fish there and something that keeps happening to me (3 times so far): I look at the beautiful displayed Baklava and ask for just a few pieces to go and the server puts in my box what broken, end pieces with no nuts, deformed pieces she can find and wants sold!!! I know Baklava and I actually make my home made walnut Baklava that is many times better than what Adonis sells ;) read more

Where do I start? Bought marinated meats there 3 times, the meat was either expired or expiring. Never buying meats there again. Could not even get reimbursed or an apology even though I was calm and courteous when I saw the manager. Buyer beware. But that wasn't enough to make me complain here, but this last incident was so stupid that I had to write this. I cannot imagine the store manager has any knowlege of customer service or customer relations. I ordered a pastry well know in the Arabic world: Konafa bel Eshta - the spelling could be off... lol What I got was some re-heated galette with cheese and something inside. not what I was expecting. I taste it and this is not good. I go to find the manager to either get this replaced by something I recognize or a credit or my money back. I explain to the manager and assistant manager my issue. Assistant manager was aware that this error could happen but the manager in essence said tough luck. I didn't touch the rest of what I was served. I wonder what management picture book this guy glanced at to be qualified to work there, but at this point I no longer trust any food from this store. Prices aren't anything great, the cheese selection and cold cuts are good, but I can get that at other places. Too bad Adonis, I was rooting for you. read more
