I learned of Baggers Audio in San Jose from another motorcycle shop. I went in for an engine swap and at the time I was running a different sound system that was much smaller and mounted in my t-sport fairing. Recently, I upgraded to an FXRT fairing with hopes to install a bigger sound system. Baggers Audio was the right choice. I contacted them and Heather helped me out on the phone. She had me send her photos, asked what I was looking to accomplish, she gave me a price right then and there and set me up with an appointment. When I went in, Heather and Nick both took a look at my bike and gave me the run down of how it was gonna go, asked me what options I wanted to go with, they gave me a few ideas and got to work. Heather kept in contact with me for the entire week they had my bike and when it was done they gave me a full tutorial on how it works, if I ever wanted to change something, add something, etc. I am thoroughly impressed with Nick's craftsmanship, I can tell he worked carefully and took his time. Everything is wired up, the amp is in an inconspicuous place, the work is clean, and looks amazing. My sound system sounds amazing and I strongly suggest anyone looking to upgrade their sound system to go with them.

New bars and grips

I was looking for a audio upgrade on my motorcycle but wanted to find a business that worked on motorcycles. I kept finding car audio places until I came across Baggers Audio. It was late evening when I called asking to come by and talk to them, Heather stayed open after hours so I could come ask questions! Nick was very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him what I was looking for and he knew what to hook me up with. Aside from audio they also do many other installations. I got a very reasonable quote via email and they were patient with me and my schedule. I dropped off my ride and it was ready within a few days. I appreciated that they sent me pictures of the progress on the bike. Everything looks great and the bike sounds amazing! Its exactly what I wanted and I will be going back for a few more upgrades! What I had done: audio upgrade 4 speakers, amp, new sound in the saddle bags. Handle bar installation including new grips, LED light kit, additional brake lighting. Nick also flashed my stock head unit so I could use Apple CarPlay! Support this small business, you won't be disappointed!

I was recommended to baggers audio from a friend who had a similar set up on his bike he said talk with Nick and he will get you set up with the correct system that you want and have it sounding great I contacted him and he picked up and we spoke about a few options for my bike I was also in a bit of a rush since my stock stereo system was not working Nick had all the parts in stock except for the 6 x 9 lids. Once the lids came in he called me and said bring the bike by and in 24 hours he turn that bike around and had it ready the next day for pick up with the stereo system sounding great. I can turn this stereo all the way to it's max with no distortion from the speakers I can hear this system clearly at 80 and 90 miles an hour on the freeway with my full face helmet on and visor down this system absolutely rocks and so does Nick thanks again for the awesome job and will be working with NICK in the future.

I used to ride a 2016 Dyna and figured the ST would be the perfect next step. Enter Freddy. He greeted me right away and asked what I had my eye on. Sadly, they didn't have the ST color I wanted, so I was disappointed and figured it just wasn't meant to be. But then I saw the Road Glide. The first one I sat on didn't feel quite right and reminded me of why I didn't think I could ride that big of a bike. Then Freddy pointed to the Road Glide right next to it that had a slightly different setup, but not one I thought would make a difference. I sat on it and yeah, he was right. Freddy said cool, and went to see what they could offer for my current bike. I wasn't hopeful and even prepared myself for disappointment--and sure enough, the first number was low. I told him I'd wait to sell privately and come back. But Freddy wasn't done. He asked what I'd realistically want to make the deal happen... I walked around while waiting thinking yeah, they ain't gonna make it happen... but then he actually made it happen. When he came back with the number I asked for, I had that moment of "Oh no... this is real!" But he kept his word. He said he would take care of me--and he did. Sure, I could've maybe squeezed out a little more in a private sale, but the peace of mind in a Dyna-flooded market? Them taking it off my hands was worth it. Then it became a full team effort: Cisco (Parts Department): Patient as a saint while I went back and forth on accessories. He helped me decide on parts and we went through what was needed, what would look nice, what we both think are ugly. He continues to this day to update me on my parts and follow up--even when I changed my mind 12 times. John (Service Department): Walked me through warranties, explained what actually benefits riders vs. what they could sell me on, and has answered random questions I've thrown at him since. He's been super helpful and makes sure I don't do things that would void my warranty. Matthew (Clothing & Gear): While waiting around, I joked that if I bought a bike I deserved a free shirt. Without missing a beat--"I got you." They probably give shirts away to anyone spending thousands of dollars, but still, the vibes were great with this guy. Gil (Finance): Helped me sign my soul to the Harley-Davidson devil--but somehow made it feel like a reasonable and thoroughly explained life decision. Then, above and beyond: he offered to ride off together since I was solo and it was my first time on a Road Glide. That gesture eased every ounce of doubt. By the time I was cruising home, I literally said inside my helmet: "This is the best thing I've ever bought." And the mystery bell saver: The store had been closed for a good hour. I never caught his name, but while I was trying not to delay anyone and quickly grab my things from my old bike (with the help of Freddy and Gil), he came up to me and asked if I wanted the bell I'd left behind. I was struggling to remove it due to all the rust, and he said he'd grab it for me so I could get shown the technical stuff on my new bike. Those are the small moments that tell the real story of a shop. Everyone at House of Thunder is kind, outgoing, and treats you like family. Some would say, "That's just sales," but even after the papers were signed--and after me calling or dropping by--they've continued to be just as kind and helpful. Thank you, House of Thunder, for making this purchase a memorable one. I feel like I'll always have people at this Harley who will take care of me.
