    Finished speakers mounted into fairing

I learned of Baggers Audio in San Jose from another motorcycle shop. I went in for an engine swap and at the time I was running a different sound system that was much smaller and mounted in my t-sport fairing. Recently, I upgraded to an FXRT fairing with hopes to install a bigger sound system. Baggers Audio was the right choice. I contacted them and Heather helped me out on the phone. She had me send her photos, asked what I was looking to accomplish, she gave me a price right then and there and set me up with an appointment. When I went in, Heather and Nick both took a look at my bike and gave me the run down of how it was gonna go, asked me what options I wanted to go with, they gave me a few ideas and got to work. Heather kept in contact with me for the entire week they had my bike and when it was done they gave me a full tutorial on how it works, if I ever wanted to change something, add something, etc. I am thoroughly impressed with Nick's craftsmanship, I can tell he worked carefully and took his time. Everything is wired up, the amp is in an inconspicuous place, the work is clean, and looks amazing. My sound system sounds amazing and I strongly suggest anyone looking to upgrade their sound system to go with them.

I was looking for a audio upgrade on my motorcycle but wanted to find a business that worked on motorcycles. I kept finding car audio places until I came across Baggers Audio. It was late evening when I called asking to come by and talk to them, Heather stayed open after hours so I could come ask questions! Nick was very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him what I was looking for and he knew what to hook me up with. Aside from audio they also do many other installations. I got a very reasonable quote via email and they were patient with me and my schedule. I dropped off my ride and it was ready within a few days. I appreciated that they sent me pictures of the progress on the bike. Everything looks great and the bike sounds amazing! Its exactly what I wanted and I will be going back for a few more upgrades! What I had done: audio upgrade 4 speakers, amp, new sound in the saddle bags. Handle bar installation including new grips, LED light kit, additional brake lighting. Nick also flashed my stock head unit so I could use Apple CarPlay! Support this small business, you won't be disappointed!

I was recommended to baggers audio from a friend who had a similar set up on his bike he said talk with Nick and he will get you set up with the correct system that you want and have it sounding great I contacted him and he picked up and we spoke about a few options for my bike I was also in a bit of a rush since my stock stereo system was not working Nick had all the parts in stock except for the 6 x 9 lids. Once the lids came in he called me and said bring the bike by and in 24 hours he turn that bike around and had it ready the next day for pick up with the stereo system sounding great. I can turn this stereo all the way to it's max with no distortion from the speakers I can hear this system clearly at 80 and 90 miles an hour on the freeway with my full face helmet on and visor down this system absolutely rocks and so does Nick thanks again for the awesome job and will be working with NICK in the future.

At first I thought they were ok, but then started noticing problems with the service. You'll see some 5 star reviews on here, but keep in mind, mechanics have left this place. It's a small little garage shop and mechanics seem to come and go. I had them replace a front tire on my Yamaha FJR1300ES. Afterward I noticed front end vibration over a certain speed. I called Reed and he said sometimes the balancing weights fall off. I brought it back taking a photo of the balancing weights beforehand, there were 3. When I picked it up and paid for service, I asked Reed what the problem was and he said one of the weights was missing, but when I looked, the same 3 weights were still there and the vibration was not gone. I suspected his balancing machine is not working properly. Had another shop take care of it, vibration gone. I had them service my BMW R1200RT and afterward the left faring was rattling. I thought maybe it just needed an adjustment, but I decided to take it to San Jose BMW to make sure I got a straight answer. I was beginning to not trust Santa Cruz Motorcycle Service at this point. BMW found that two clips that hold the left fairing on were completely missing. They ordered new ones and put them on, rattling gone. I had Reed do a minor crash repair on my Yamaha, fell over on a mountain road while stopped, bad curve with steep camber. I did not receive an itemized receipt of the work and parts. He had some things repainted, some parts replaced. I felt like I got gouged on that one. I called one day to see if they had a Micheline Road 6 GT tire, as I needed a new one. Reed said he didn't and then said that I don't need a GT tire on my Yamaha FJR 1300ES. That shocked me. I told Reed my rear brake was pressing down too far and feeling spongy. He recommended the front and rear calipers and brake system full seal replacement and flush. After paying for that there was no change in the rear brake. A Yamaha dealer found it was the rear brake master cylinder that needed a rebuild kit, much less expensive fix. Had that done and the rear brake is now fine. I brought my Yamaha FJR to Reed for a 52k major service. All they did was adjust the valves and replace the spark plugs. Some miles later I noticed oil seeping down the side of my engine. I took it to another Yamaha dealer who discovered it was leaking from the valve cover that SCMS had serviced. Not trusting SCMS anymore, I paid for another valve adjustment from a Yamaha dealer and they found that the gasket was not replaced properly, old gasket material was not cleaned off completely and 7 valves were in need of adjustment, 4 out of spec and 3 right at spec. So I paid again to have it done right. Will probably be taking Reed to small claims court to get a refund of that service. He even ordered the wrong rear mounting bracket for a Givi case I had him put on, and then made me keep it instead of refunding me for it. Bad wiring job on the rear brake lights for that case also. Two of his mechanics came out of the shop one time I was there and told me they were leaving. They didn't like working for Reed. I'm not sure how many have come and gone, but that's not a good sign. So after a bunch of shenanigans, I decided to never go there again. I am demanding a refund of the valve service they did and will take it to small claims court because I guess I hurt Reed's feelings and he is refusing to stand behind his work. I gave this shop multiple opportunities to impress me with good service, and too many times things didn't go well. Reed was a salesman and he is a fast talker, quick to defend and defer. IMO, this shop is not trustworthy. From my personal experience and what I have heard from other people, Reed looks for any opportunity to jack prices and overcharge for things. Mechanics seem to come and go. In more than 30 years of riding, I have never had issues like this with any repair shop. But I have always gone to dealers. This was the first time I tried a non-dealer repair shop.

Went with the low profile seat and initially I think I'm going to enjoy it. The seat has a 1500 mile break in so I'm ready for the adventure. The first two were great and comfortable…read morebut after 3 trips on this new one it still gets my hamstring numb after 1 and 1/2 riding. So uncomfortable. Maybe the 4th time will work. But that is not what is the matter with company it goes far beyond making saddles correctly. So I decided to address all my issues directly Mike Corbin the owner founder. I met him before and seemed like a nice person. By the way, everyone at the Corbin factory was so nice and so helpful. The installers are super responsive to my needs. 1) Saddle fit issue which I discussed earlier 2) My original saddle is heated front and back. What I understand from the installer is BMW will not sell those clips that attach my bike seat heating element to the switch and power. The installer clipped off the connectors from my BMW original seat and installed it on my Corbin. Which is a big issue. The installer said the clips are proprietary and thus they don't have access to these clips. However, I called my local BMW shop and they have the clips available one for the front seat and one for the back a total of about 60 bucks. I ordered them. Why was this new clips not installed? Why was necessary to use the clips of my old saddle when they were clearly available locally. So, in about 2 or 3 years I will most likely get a new bike. I usually put the original saddle on my bike sell the Corbin separate. But now I have to fix my old saddle with new clips. Why did the Corbin installer folks not have the clips readily available? 3) The third thing, and probably the most striking issue, is a basic design flaw, in the Corbin rear passenger does not move forward up to 2 inches like on the original seat. And it also doesn't accommodate the little clever tool kit BMW engineers designed into the bottom of the rear seat. I was never told I would lose that function. When rear pillon move a bit close to the driver, gives a nice little lower back support. Which is such an aid in long journeys. Why was this not disclosed to me in advance of purchasing my new Corbin seat? See attached photo's So Mike's comment to me through one his presumably his customer service manager, was thus exactly l: Mike Corbin asked me to reach out to you to tell you that you are welcome to make an appointment to get your Corbin seat adjusted through ride in department. Unfortunately he said he can not modify the mold for the BMW-GS13-F-E/BMW-GS13-R-E however with our ride in department they can assist you. While I definitely think this rear saddle has a major design and needs to be modified, Mike never addressed the issue not his Sellers not informing me about the seat heat plugs being taken from original saddle. And major lack of transparently on his selling agents never informing lost of functionality of new Corbin... Why Mister Corbin why? You own the company.,,,so you could I have the change, so why ? If Mike does not make this right and communicate to me directly, I will be selling my new saddle, (rider and passenger and backrest). It's really a shame because the saddle and leather is beautiful. I just wished Mike cared about customer retention!!! Because he has lost me as customer. To bad cause I really like his people.
