Daniel has installed new systems in multiple cars of mine including classic cars. He does a fantastic job at a really good price.

went to see Daniel with a question about my radio in my 67 GMC truck He explained the reason for the sound to just quit but come back later on that day or not for days, what he described made perfect sence, so we talked new radio and installation. price was right, I came back the following Tuesday Daniel had it installed with new center dash speaker and even mounted the kick panel speakers for me.. This stereo is 1000 times better than what I had, Daniel went over everything with me.. I could not be more happy, thank you Daniel. read more

We had a great experience getting a stereo installed in our truck here. Everyone working was kind and knowledgeable and they even took the time to sit in the car and show us how the stereo worked! I'll be returning if I need any more stereo work done. read more

Digital Mobile Stereo just did a stereo install for me. The installation was flawless. Excellent attention to detail. The service was prompt, courteous, and trustworthy. The price quoted was the price charged. Highly recommended. I read the other reviews. I found Daniel to be personable, approachable, and easy to do business with. read more

I've come to this place twice. First time for an new alarm system and the second for a new headset. Daniel is very knowledgable and doesn't try to up sell you something you don't need. And his prices are unbelievably low. Each time he quoted me a price for both jobs I had to repeat the price just to make sure I wasn't imagining things. The guy works insanely fast too. And I have not had any problems with any of the work that he put in my car. Honesty, low prices, and excellent workmanship is how I describe this shop to my friends and family when recommending it to them. read more

Daniel is an honest guy and works fast. I needed to replace my factory stereo that came with my 2009 Mazda 5. For several years the 6 CD changer wasn't working and it made this annoying noise every time I started my car. I got a quote for a stereo replacement in santa cruz, for about $580. Ouch. Since I have family in Hollister and am there all the time I checked him out on yelp. $280 for the same thing. Now I have a nicely installed Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth and Auxiliary connectivity for a much more reasonable price. This also included the steering wheel controls! I took it in at about 10am and he had it ready by 1pm. read more

Daniel was knowledgeable and had solid recommendations. I was a bit picky on the set up I wanted for my truck but he was willing to make me happy and configure as such. The subwoofer case he quoted me was causing the sub to touch the back of the seat with each bass note and he spent the time to custom build a box for me. He was so concerned about the longevity of the sub that he went the extra mile without trying to jack me on price. The way he handled the entire install showed his dedication and work ethic. His prices were fair and he was timely on completion. The new system sounds amazing and is exactly what I needed. I plan on taking my other two cars there for upgrades when I am able. read more

Seems like he does good work, but he does not work on classic cars. I called hoping I could get an appointment in for a stereo head unit installed but he informed me he does not work on classic cars, so a heads up if you want to bring in a classic he does not install on classic vehicles. read more

He wouldn't sell me a foot of speaker wire. I feel like these reviews are very misleading. He told me to go to auto-zone instead to buy speaker wire. Customer service isn't his strong suite. Very unfortunate. I remember buying red power wire from him a few years back I bought almost 20ft. It was by the foot. I would give him one star but that isn't fair just cause I remember our transaction a few years back I also remember a young guy with him to. . His explanation was he has good quality speaker wire for his personal use. If I wanted to bring my car in for some type of car installation he uses nothing but the best speaker wire. I had mentioned to him that's why I didn't want to go to Autozone I rather pay for top dollar for a foot of speaker wire. I was practically pleading with him to sell me some wire. I guess Amazon, eBay, or a trip to Salinas it is. Thanks Daniel for your time to explain why you can't sell me high quality wire. Bes of luck to you and your future endeavors. Hey Daniel It's social distancing. I was being respectful not touching your door not touching your chain not crossing your chain not coming within 6 feet of you or the guy who was standing outside waiting for you.. To say I'm being irresponsible durning this pandemic is quite a harsh. Also for you to start to presume I don't care about public safety is outlandish. Especially when the day before my friend went to your shop and to purchase a amp kit from you. Apparently that wasn't a bother for you to come into contact and risk the health of your family. The only reason I went to your shop was I bought wire from that place before and also because the day before someone went there to buy an amp kit and told me that you were open 4-6. With local businesses slowing and closing there doors due to this outbreak you being open I wanted to support a local business. Otherwise I wouldn't have went but thanks for your reply Daniel. I know once this covid goes away business will be back to normal and we can go back to normalcy. Have a nice day man. Stay safe and wash your hands. . Thanks for your reply. read more

Daniel did a terrific job of recommending a new in-dash stereo system with ApplePlay for my older Subaru Forester. Actually talked me out of replacing the speakers as well until I heard how the factory ones sounded with the new system (the sounded fine for my purposes, saving me $$). Honest, fast, great work. Really happy with the results. Highly recommend! read more

I have know Danial for a while. A few years ago he put in a pioneer stereo in my tacoma and did a great job. I needed an alarm & went to him for his recommendations. As usually his knowledge of alarms is outstanding. After a lot of reviews on different alarms I ended up with a Viper 5704V. The professional job he did was much appreciated. Highly recommended. Don't waste your time looking around for someone else. read more

I've been going to Daniel for 15+ years and will continue because of the professionalism and knowledge he has when it comes to electronics.

I took my SSR there today upon the recommendation of the local Chevy dealer. I had purchased a Pioneer AVIC from an installer in Arizona. It was not operating correctly. Daniel diagnosed what the problem was right away. He and his staff fixed it within a few minutes. These guys are great. I can't believe I drove twelve hours to Phoenix when I could have had it installed correctly right here in Hollister. I highly recommend Daniel and will gladly use his services in the future. read more

VERY SATISFIED!! Daniel does great work. Very professional and trustworthy. He told me he would try fixing my amp and if he couldn't he wouldn't charge me and would give me other options! He saved me from sending it away and taking a chance... and also saved me from going to Salinas and being charged twice as much probably. He also worked until 7:30 pm to finish my car. I'm thrilled to find such a great business here in town for our stereo needs! I will highly recommend him to everyone! read more

This place is on my way home on Third st an McCray when I pass by this place they seen to be busy and I need it a radio. Happy Customer!!! Daniel removed an old broken car alarm from my Honda and replaced it with a brand new car alarm. He is very knowledgeable on car alarms and did an excellent job with the install. He didn't charge me extra to remove the old car alarm and the spaghetti of wires that he had to identify and remove. I drove out from the Los Banos area and he was able to complete my install while I took a walk to eat lunch. I definitely recommend him. read more
