They came out freshly fried up home made. The green sauce wasn't too spicy but good. We asked for a spicy sauce and they brought out a red sauce that had a nice kick. It was hot and I love it that way. Wifey and I had orchata to drink and it was good. They asked if we wanted to try the chicken pozole at no charge. We said sure and they brought out 2 bowls of the most delicious soup I've had in a while. It was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich with deep flavor with super tender chicken and homony. Id come here just for the soup! Bad part is the pozole is only made on weekends. They have a salsa bar too. They have 6 different types of made salsas and veggies to add if you want. The sorullitos were great. My burrito was huge and it tasted great. Wifes torta was huge also and she really liked it. The fried steak (empanizado) was fantastic in the torta. My mom got her tacos "supreme" which comes with tomatoes, sour cream, and lettuce along with the onion and cilantro. She liked them. We ordered a stuffed chili pepper to go for my sister. My husband and I got lucky that they were our first tasting when looking for our wedding caterer; we tried their crab cakes, salmon cucumber rolls, NY strip steak with chimichurri, mahi mahi with coconut curry sauce, plantains and ratatouille. Everything was absolutely perfect, both during our tasting back in 2021 and at our wedding this past weekend. The steak had a beautiful pink inside and an amazing grill charr on the outside. The coconut curry sauce permeated the mahi mahi and our veggie sides were incredibly fresh tasting. I also have to mention we almost forgot to ask for a vegan, gluten free option for one of our guests but Jean and LaFronza were super accommodating with our request. I can't say enough good things about the food, I am honestly amazed at how they were able to bring everything from Orlando to Indialantic and cook it to perfection. The tasting was seamless, the food stood out, and the overall operation appeared organized and professional. Based on that, we felt confident booking with them. As part of their process, we were assigned a care team assistant, Joanie, to manage logistics leading up to the event. Unfortunately, this part of the experience fell short. Key milestones, such as the three-month check-in, were missed and required us to initiate follow-up. Communication was often delayed, with responses taking several business days, and at times occurred at unusual hours, which made coordination more difficult. There were also instances of confusion around previously discussed details with Joanie. In one case, instead of contacting us directly for clarification about tables (after being provided a floor plan and having a meeting), she reached out to the venue with incorrect information. This created unnecessary stress close to the wedding date and required additional time to resolve. She also told us she would make note for them to bring cake cutting knives, but on the day of, they did not, which impacted planned photo moments. (If we had known not to trust her we would have taken the extra expense to buy our own.) Most importantly, we were explicit in the detail that we (the bride and groom) would eat last, to account for taking photos with each table of guests as they were released to get food from the buffet. At the event, the staff brought food to our sweetheart table first, resulting in food being in the background, on our table in every single photo. This is completely unacceptable given the multiple times we discussed this detail. That being said, the overall execution on the day of the event (outside of bringing food to the sweetheart table) was outstanding. Our catering captain, Skylar, and the entire onsite team were exceptional with guests. They were professional, extremely attentive, and highly organized. The service staff and chefs delivered an incredible experience, and the food exceeded expectations. It was a highlight of the reception, and we continue to receive compliments from guests. We were surprised there was no post-event follow-up from the company, as we would have gladly shared positive feedback about the onsite team. We hope we do them justice in these posted reviews (specifically Skylar, whom we hope will replace Joanie's role for future clients - she is talented in her organizational role). Overall, we would recommend this company for the quality of their food and event-day execution. However, based on our experience, we strongly suggest confirming who will be assigned as your care team assistant (request anyone but Joanie) and ensuring clear, timely communication throughout the planning process.
