4.53$ for a bagel with cream cheese... what the... baked bread and cream cheese... not worth it at all for burnt bagels

As always, great counter service and breakfast sandwiches, coffee. A busy place, they manage it well. Virginia is excellent!

This is such a whitehouse station staple. Everyone in town goes here because it's the best bagels in town. I love the small town and hometown feels of the space and I have been coming here since I was a kid. They have kept up with demand and expectations and their food is just delicious. I'm a pretty basic person when it comes to my bagels so I always get the everything bagel with cream cheese- I like my bagel toasted but you don't even have to get it toasted here because it's so soft and fresh! I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who loves bagels! My friend also tried a bagel with the garlic cream cheese which she said was delicious - so maybe I'll have to try that next time! My other friends got a turkey bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel which she loved as well. You really can't go wrong here with your classic bagel or breakfast sandwich

What can be said more than this establishment has been serving the area for more than 25 years now and never been anything but excellent. Whether looking for a quickly buttered bagel or a full on catered event these folks can cover you like a well spread bagel. I've moved from Califon to Whitehouse Station to New York State and now I'm living and working three hours North of Mexico City, Mexico. One thing that stays the same in such a life is my visits to the BG if I'm anywhere near town. Brian is a great human being. He treats his people with respect and it shows as there are people working there for 15 years or more. The bagels are great. The service and people wonderful. Thanks for everything! Sim

Great food at great prices. Been here a few dozen times and the staff is always fast and friendly. Never sat down to eat but there's a dozen or so tables to use. Best pork roll egg & cheese bagel around here hands down

I love this place - I come here every time I'm home for the holidays. It's such a local gem where you can reunite with friends. The staff is so friendly and tightly knit. I always get excited to see everyone there. All of their bagels are great - SO fluffy and flavorful. I would recommend any of the bagel sandwiches - they are to DIE for. There's nothing better than a pork roll, egg, and cheese from Bagel Junction. They also have lots of cream cheese flavor options (including apple pie and pumpkin during autumn) which is a great addition to any bagel! They are also making an effort to add more vegan options which is great. Hopefully they will have dairy-free bagel spreads soon :)

First time here - dropped in for quick breast bite. I got an everything bagel w lox and cream cheese. Perfect ratio of bagel thickness to lox to cream cheese. Definitely hit the spot and I left very happy:). People were also friendly!

About as bad as it gets top to bottom....quality, price, speed of service all just ridiculously bad. I'd give zero if I could.

Small, cozy, and not trying to be something it's not. There are a few tables if you want to eat there, but it definitely feels like more of a grab-and-go spot. I ordered a half cheesesteak sandwich with peppers and onions while my wife chose a half cheesesteak without. The sandwich was a good size. You have to be very hungry to finish a half. My wife was only able to get through half of her sandwich. Since we were bringing the sandwiches home, we chose not to get any drinks or sides. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Service was friendly and efficient. You order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. No long wait, even with a few people ahead of us. If you're looking for a quick, solid lunch in Whitehouse Station without the chain restaurant feel, this is a good option. We'll definitely be back when we want something simple and well made.

I will try them again but hope they improve.

The exception is Grounded for Life, which offers delicious breakfast and lunch options that are thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and satisfying. Their extensive, all vegan menu offers breakfast options such as bagel sandwiches, burritos, toasts, and more, and even their coffee is surprisingly good! I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. The cafe itself is pretty small with just a few tables indoors. The outdoor patio is more expansive, and I recommend enjoying your food and drinks outside if the weather is decent.

I was a loyal customer for over SIX YEARS, stopping in several times a week. While the staff seemed…read moreto change constantly, one thing never did--the owner's rude, dismissive attitude. After my most recent experience, I'll never be back. I called in an order for a long-roll turkey sandwich that I was planning to split with my uncle, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. The young employee who answered the phone struggled to repeat my order back to me, so I made sure to clearly state that I wanted it on a long roll. When I got home--25 MINUTES AWAY--I discovered the sandwich had been made on a small round roll instead. Since we were splitting it, there was a huge difference between a 12-inch long roll and a small round roll. I immediately called the deli, explained the mistake, and the woman who answered (who I had spoken with many times before) apologized and told me they would take care of it by giving me a discount the next time I came in. Two days later, after taking my uncle to one of his cancer treatments, I stopped in expecting them to honor what I had been told. Instead, the owner (who identified himself as "Ed") approached me with an attitude and immediately said, "What are you looking for? It's the same price for a long roll or a short roll. I run a business here, and there's nothing I'm going to do about it." I explained that it wasn't about the money. I even showed him pictures of the sandwich and reminded him that I had been a loyal customer for years. He interrupted me, saying his employee claimed I ordered a short roll and repeated that he wasn't doing anything because he "runs a business." He then added, "You come in here all the time, but I have a lot of loyal customers." When I explained that I had called immediately after getting home because I live 25 minutes away, I was told that if I had brought the sandwich back, they would have corrected it. That wasn't a realistic option. I wasn't about to leave my uncle, who is battling cancer, and drive 50 minutes round trip because their employee made the sandwich incorrectly. Any business that genuinely values its customers would understand that and make a reasonable effort to fix the mistake the next time I came in--especially after one of their own employees had already promised they would. Instead, the owner dismissed the entire situation and treated me like I was asking for something unreasonable. This was never about trying to get something for free. I simply expected the business to stand behind its mistake. Even replacing the bread or honoring what I had been promised would have been enough. Instead, I was spoken to with disrespect, talked down to, and treated like my years of loyalty meant absolutely nothing. At the end of the conversation, I told the owner, "You just lost a loyal customer, and I don't appreciate the way you're talking to me." His response was simply, "Well, that's too bad." That one statement summed up exactly how he feels about the people who support his business. After spending thousands of dollars there over the past six years, I was shocked by how I was treated over something so simple. The owner's attitude alone was enough to lose my business. Looking back, convenience was really the only reason I kept going there. The chips are often stale from sitting out all day, and on multiple occasions I've personally seen employees handling food without gloves. I overlooked those things because the location was convenient, but after the way I was treated, I have absolutely no reason to return. He didn't just lose one loyal customer. After sharing this experience with several friends who also frequented this deli, many of them said they only went there because it was convenient as well and have decided they'll be taking their business elsewhere. SIX YEARS OF LOYALTY WASN'T WORTH CORRECTING ONE SIMPLE MISTAKE. THAT TELLS YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HOW THIS BUSINESS VALUES ITS CUSTOMERS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT APPRECIATES THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS.
