I walked in yesterday because I had run an errand and wanted to treat myself to a sandwich for lunch. I ordered the Turkey Club on whole wheat bread. The person who took my order was polite and asked what kind of bread I wanted, if I wanted toasted and mayo or mustard, which was thoughtful because I actually didn't want mayo (and a club sandwich comes with mayo!) The sandwich was tasty overall but I didn't think it was worth the ~$12.00 price tag. I'll be returning maybe for another treat but not anytime soon. read more

I don't know how these guys maintain their sanity. They have great food, juice, smoothies with real fruit, real wheat grass, and even, surprisingly, even sourdough bread for sandwiches! They all have smiles and are happy to see you and make sure they understand exactly what you are ordering. It's so very clear that each person working there takes pride in doing what they do! Looking around the store, though, and listening, I just wonder how they keep up the pace, maintain the quality, and manage to deal with any issues that do come up when having to deal with various delivery folks who, well, have to deal with Queens addresses and whatever mapping application they're forced to use. As it turns out, they do quite a good job even when faced with the inevitable obstacles that come around when you're in the restaurant business, especially handling hungry, impatient, and whatever attitudes come through the door. I'm not sure where to start! The first time I came here, I asked the guy at the counter if the burger patties were made fresh, and he assured me they were, saying, "Of course, you're paying $15-16, so we make sure it's fresh." And the burger was good that time. But when I went back last week, the patty was definitely not fresh. It had such a bad smell that I couldn't even finish it--I had to throw it away. Ill make this simple. I was in the area waiting to go to an appointment and wanted to kill time. I decided to try this bagel store looked nice. I walked in and I was the only one there other than one other person eating. I'm standing there and standing there the guy had to have seen me. He never made any effort no eye contact to take my order or acknowledge me. I stood there a little longer noda, nothing ,zip, zero so I left no bagel sandwich, no coffee nothing. I think he saw me leave. So 1 star for customer service. I have no clue how their bagels are because I could not even get to try. LOL read more

Its such a shame because when they are on point the food is good but IT IS SO RARE that they prep the correct order. Place wasn't so busy when I got there. I ordered an egg and cheese on a sesame bagel with coffee. They rushed the ordered and gave it to me on a raisin bagel instead. The eggs were so salty.
