We came to Bagel Bob's as part of a food tour. Service was nice and friendly. There were so many varieties of bagels, and I love that they have mini sizes for some of the bagels. We tried the everything mini bagel with cream cheese, everything was so fresh: chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Ambience was friendly and comfortable.

I recommend not toasting your bagel. The cream cheese was fantastic, and you can mix and match. We stopped here because people outside were raving about it, but I think it's alright. They have lunch options too

Finally Bagel Bob's takes cash which moves them up in status. There is no ambiance to this place but if you want a basic NYC real bagel this one fits the bill. Bob's will toast the bagel for you. I really like the everything bagel especially when warm. TIP know what you want when you get to the register.

There may be better bagels in the city, but I haven't had them yet. In my few days staying with the friends in this part of town, I grabbed bagels here twice. Prices were super reasonable (less than $4 for a bagel w/ cream cheese), service was friendly and fast, bagel was tasty AF. 100% will go back. CASH only

If you just want a good basic NYC bagel, Bob's satisfies. Not fancy but fresh bagels with a variety of cream cheese flavors. Personally, the everything bagel on good old plain cream cheese and toasted is perfect. Service is fast provided you have cash. Ambiance is that of a dive bagel shop. There are a very few seats.

Got a cinnamon raisin bagel with cinnamon walnut raisin cream cheese and a water bottle for only $6.75. Great price! And great bagel. Very yummy and filling. Not tons of seating inside, just a small bar at the window. More of a grab and go vibe. The worker was nice. Would come back to try other flavors because that price is great.

This place truly sustained my malnourished college freshman body. On days when I had zero motivation, Bagel Bobs was there to get me going. Their entire system is super efficient, and I could just walk in and out so quickly, bagel acquired with minimal effort. The plethora of tastefully flavored cream cheeses, the warm and perfectly doughy bagels, truly a match made in heaven. They are the only business I carry cash for.

Authentic bagels, 10/10. They also offer a discount for NYU students. We got a Garlic bagel with cream cheese and a Cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Delicious egg bagel with low-fat veggie cream cheese (tomatoes not included).

Best bagels around here! Been going for years. We tried all the bagels shops but always come back to Bobs.

Better than Murray's. Best downtown bagels. Just not any seats really and iced tea can be too bitter.

FOOD: We ordered a bag of 3 bagels-- everything, poppy seed & salt. The bagels were cute, medium sized and served warm/hot. We chose the scallion cream cheese which came in a lil container. Apparently the bagels are not made in the traditional manner, but they were still delicious with great texture and taste. We also ordered the tea (ok) and strawberry lemonade (yum). We enjoyed our bagels on the little countertop area outside. OVERALL: Definitely recommend! A different bagel experience than some other places (as in, those places where you are served bagels topped with cream cheese and other things) but we enjoyed the simplicity of the bagels and controlling the amount of cream cheese.

Anyways, the girls had bookmarked another bagel establishment but the line was hella long like they were giving away Knicks gear for free. Ironically another "bagel shop" search on Yelp showed PopUp Bagels was like three doors down lol. No line! That in itself was making me question but there is a PopUp in San Diego that my daughter swears by. PopUp advertised itself as "Not Famous, but known." Whether or not this bagel is better than the one store three doors up is something I cannot attest to. However I can say THIS WAS A DANG GOOD BAGEL! And it was freshly made! How do I know? It literally burned my fingers when I ripped it open! The pain was worth it. Outside, a slightly crisp texture generously coated with "Everything". Inside was a dense and chewy dough that was pliable but able to withstand the dipping and shmearing of cream cheese (which was smooth). Best I have ever had for sure but then again my most common bagel experience is the place named after a scientist where tons of bagels are sitting in bins for who knows how long. So why wasn't this a 5-star experience? One, I only ate one thing. Two, sevice and setting are "just there". Considering it wasn't busy I would expect a bit more of a welcome. To eat you're bagel you can full on just leave, sit at the three stools inside where it is super hot (bc hey they actually cook), or three stand outside. There is a little, I'll say "patio", where you can stand, eat, and true story, watch two people argue about who gets to sort through the recyclables from the neighborhood eateries. Snack and a show???? I just stood near the door and enjoyed my bagel.
