We had a great experience trying the Bagel Bar for the first time. The smell as we walked in was amazing, just like an everything bagel. The woman who waited on us was friendly and patient as we debated what we wanted for a moment. The food was great and we plan to go back when it's warm so we can sit outside. read more

I wish I could give 5 stars, but too many mistakes during this visit. Bagels and toppings got mixed up and so did our coffees. The bagels were fresh and amazing and the green olive pizza was just like in Israel: excellent! Coffees were good, not great. Service was a little slow due to workers not showing up for work on a Sunday. Bummer. Really nice and modern looking interior as this location is fairly new. The restaurant is Kosher (dairy) and is always closed Saturdays and Jewish holidays. We'll be back for bagels when nearby and look forward to trying some of their other breads and baked goods. read more

Tried bagel bar for the first & last time this weekend since I live in Forty Fort and didn't want to make the trip to the Back Mountain to go to Bagel Art... Bagels were small, cream cheese application was inconsistent and if it was a boxing fight between Bagel Art & Bagel Bar, then it would be stopped in the first round with Bagel Art winning victoriously as there's no comparison! Bagel Art's bagels are 2nd to none and are sooo worth the 10-15 drive (it would be worth a 30min trip too!) from Forty Fort / Kingston to get them. read more

I am never the type to leave a review anywhere usually no matter what as I know the trials and troubles that come with owning a business, but I could not hold myself back from leaving a review here because all I ordered was a bagel. thinking about a better option than Dunkin I went here and boy was that a mistake. a simple bagel took about 40-50 minutes to come out no exaggeration and I was gonna ask for my money back after becoming very impatient but I let it go thinking there would be a golden bar on my bagel or something and it was disgusting. more cream cheese on that thing than water in a swimming pool. If I can give 0 stars I would. And the worker with pink hair was terrible and so non caring, about 5 people (all Jewish) came in before me ordering way more and got everything before me. I drive out to PA often.. I read some of the reviews on Yelp. Was a ;itt;e nervous about going in. But I had to give them a chance. I was happy I did. Food and service was amazing. It seems that some of the negative comments were not at all what I experienced. Could have been a bad day .. who knows ? In any event, im coming back. I spoke to manager there. First and last time I'll ever go there. Should've took no one else being in there as a clue to keep moving. Ordered lox and bagel, smallest amount of toppings I've ever seen. Cream cheese was almost non-existent. Got a separate bagel for my wife. Asked for cream cheese and there wasn't any, not that I should complain about that since they really don't put any on.
