Needs a lot of work. This place is new and has the same new ownership as brewerytown food hall. We originally was going to go go brewerytown because per Google hours, it said they were open but they weren't...so we ended up grabbing breakfast here. When walking in, there were flies everywhere. Then we finally got to order and got our food. The bagel is decent here, nothing special but the hash brown....oh the hash brown....there was NO HASH and it was all BROWN. It was freezer burned and overly fried...never will return to this place.

Okay so I tried Bagel & Co twice, same location (Brewerytown), one month apart. You know, for quality control reasons I didn't want to love it. Their prices are way too expensive. I wanted it to be a lucky day on the first try. But nah, it slaps. I'm talking Jersey quality-- like good good. And now I'm addicted. My usual-- bacon egg and cheese, toasted on a French toast bagel, saltpepper ketchup was delicious. Delicioussss. My first visit, when they first opened-- the doors were open. It was muggy and flies were everywhere (with bagels out in the open, like a true bagel shop...). On my second visit, doors closed and AC blasting. Much improved!

Large selection of bagels and non traditional cream cheese flavors. Bagel was fresh and cream cheese was tasty - I did the Sriracha scallion. Definitely over priced though - over $6 for one bagel and cream cheese is a bit absurd.

Been here a few times, bagels are typically good. Doesn't feel like a place to really sit, more like a pick up/to go.

Absolutely terrible. It took about 45 minutes to make and i was SHOCKED when I unwrapped and saw my bagel had one little egg and slice of cheese for the whole sandwich. At first I thought I was just given a bagel and they forgot the egg and cheese. I would never in a million years recommend and it absolutely astonishing that they would give this to a customer.

Not a real business ... I could open a bagel place tomorrow with no experience in food service and still smoke this one.

I had the turkey on wheat with American cheese. I opted for the Russian dressing since I'm not a fan of hot deli mustard. I had it toasted panini style. The service was quick, friendly and you could tell they took pride in what they were doing. My wife opted for the pastrami on wheat with may and provolone cheese, also panini style. She had potato salad as a side and the coleslaw. Both were good. The Marketplace is a very large (formerly Penn Station) turned open market area covering food, produce, meat market, flowers, artisans etc. A wonderful place. The food was awesome the meats were amazingly tasty and worth the price!

We originally ordered just one sandwich to share, but it was so good that we ended up going back for another one. The pastrami was flavorful, tender, and packed generously into the sandwich. We also got lucky because there weren't too many people when we arrived, so we were able to grab seats right at the counter and enjoy everything fresh. Highly recommended if you're visiting Reading Market, definitely one of the standout food spots there.

This was my first time actually trying it and it definitely lived up to the hype of the Yelp reviews. My wrap had chicken, hummus, lettuce, and feta, and it was so delicious. My chicken was very good, very tender and seasoned well. It also had a great creamy hummus to tie all the other ingredients together. The feta added just enough saltiness to balance out the rest of the flavors. All of the ingredients were very fresh, and my wrap was extremely soft, yet still maintained its form completely as I ate. I also ordered a Nutella hot chocolate. It was delicious! It was my fist time having a Nutella hot Chocolate. I usually just get a normal hot chocolate. The pita chips served as an additional side item with this sandwich and proved to be quite enjoyable. The pita chips had a good crunch and were able to pair with the wrap very well. I ended up eating all of the pita chips! It was a great lunch and I enjoyed my wrap! I would likely order from Café Square One again in the future, especially, if that wrap is still on their menu!

I went to Middle Child a few weeks ago just after 3, only to find it closes at 3. Today I returned, around 1, and there was a good crowd there having lunch. I ordered the Surfer, and the Hash Brown Potatoes. The Surfer is Middle Child's most popular sandwich. It's made on a Ciabatta bun, and has a thick layering of tender, lean, House Turkey breast, with melty Swiss cheese, arugula, blueberry chutney, and Duke's mayo. It's hard to describe just how delicious this sandwich was. My biggest concern was the Ciabatta bun - it's not one of my favorites, as I've found them to be tough and difficult to bite through. My fears were quickly put to rest after the first bite! The bun had a slightly crispy exterior - and when I followed through with my first bite, the tender, soft interior of the Ciabatta was a pleasant surprise. In fact, it complemented the thick savory Turkey, arugula, chutney and mayo! It was one of the best Turkey sandwiches I've had. Now, if that wasn't enough, don't forget, I ordered the Hash Brown Potatoes. It said Hash Browns on the blackboard, see attached picture, but these 'weren't your Mama's hash browns'! They are described online as Latka'd Hash Browns. They are thick crispy squares that combine a potato pancake latke with a hash brown texture. The interior reminded me of my mother's potato kugel, which I still reminisce about. In one word, those fried crispy potato squares were outstanding. It's 'a must try' and goes so well with the Surfer! Last, but not least, the Limeade! It was so refreshing! Not too tart, not too sweet... just right! I'll be returning to Middle Child in the not too distant future!

The legendary best sandwich in Philadelphia! Having it first thing in the morning was pure bliss…read more The Hershel: Recommended by the staff. The corned beef was an enticing vibrant pink, tender and juicy, with a perfectly balanced and pure saltiness that accentuated the beef's natural flavor. The scrambled eggs were incredibly smooth and creamy, complemented by the rich, melted cooper sharp cheese. The rye was toasted with butter, giving it a thin, crispy crust and a soft interior--a bit softer than Hershel's East Side Deli's, fragrant but not greasy. Every part was delicious, and the combination was harmonious and delightful. The portion of ingredients was very generous, definitely worth the $14.50 price. The service was a little slow, but the moment you tasted it, you would forgive everything!
