He has a daily lunch special with your choice of pasta and your choice of sauce. It's quite a bargain. We just shared a large sandwich -- made from one whole huge long ciabatta. We had salami and cheese on our sandwich -- but they have many types. Plus they have focaccia bread if you prefer. There are too many types of pastries to list. They all looked delicious. I also bought a chocolate croissant to take home for later. Mirko is from Rome. And he travels back to Italy often to check on his other businesses there and for supplies. So call first before coming by to make sure they are open. This bakery is worth a detour whether you're craving something a bit sweet with a coffee or looking to take home an Italian dinner.

The sauce was more of a tomato almost felt like a cross to an ala vodka. It was very good. Good garlic rolls too. We also had a steak and cheese sub.
