I'm new to the state and needed my windshield replaced after it got banged up on the drive here. This place seemed professional, so I went here. I brought it in and they said I'd need a new windshield, so I left it with them and I got it back two days later. About a month later, I'm in my garage sanding down some wood and I hear a bunch of weird popping sounds, kinda like bubble wrap. I look over to my car and the windshield is splitting straight down the middle. Called and got an employee. Employee said that there was nothing they could do, except credit the cost of the windshield towards the next windshield. Which'd be fine if I A - trusted them, and if I B - had time to leave my car there for two days.
So I called my insurer, and we arranged it so that I would get a new windshield with another company. So I went to Denali Auto and they gave me a date when they wouldn't be at all busy and they'd be able to finish it overnight. So I drop it off and in the morning I got a call saying that they couldn't in good conscious replace the window until after I brought it to an auto repair shop because there was a dent or something where the windshield mounts onto, and that'd apparently cause weather to leak into the car and potentially also cause the windshield to break again.
So I called up my insurance company again, and they said they'd cover this as well, but still under the deductible. And I got a quote from an auto company, and they said it'd max out my deductible as well as take 2-3 days to repair the damage to the mount.
Terrible, terrible repair shop, this Badger Glass.
I strongly recommend Denali Auto to them, if not because I've not had any problems with them in the several months that I've been patron to them, then because they're not Badger Glass. read more
