First time trying Bada Bing and it was sooo satisfying and delicious! Meatballs were tender and flavorful as well as the silky sauce. The stuffed banana peppers were very good but definitely on the spicy side! Both the red sauce and garlic sauce pasta were delicious and the Anthony bing sandwich was very good especially on the seasoned roll. This was the first place I visited on my first trip to Buffalo. I arrived at the hotel past midnight and was starving, luckily Bada Bing was open late. Although Nicole the bartender was very attentive and sympathetic to the ordeal I have to give this place an awful review. I ordered spaghetti Parm and after 34 minutes I was let know it would be right out, after 39 it was on its way, after 44 it would be coming soon. After 49 minutes it came and had a microwavish taste. The wonderful bartender offered to buy me a drink from her pocket but I felt awful accepting because I have no clue how it was her fault. Finally made it to Bada Bings at thier new digs. Still a great place although I do miss the cozy booths. I had the wings. Ordered them hot but not quite hot enough for me thier hot are more like medium. They could have been a bit crispier but then again I failed to order them as such. My friend said her pizza (she swapped one of her cannolis for a piece from another diner) was good. The cannolis really should be named coneolis as they are a sugar ice cream cone filled with yummy ricotta. The 25 oz beers at a mere $8.00 were nice and cold and a bargain at that. I would never crave Bada Bing, but if this is where friends of mine were going to watch a game and hang out, I would happily go. It's a great place to watch a sporting event and drink some beer, food wise, I just thought everything sounded the same, just worded slightly different. I was trying to choose a salad last time I came in for dinner and almost every salad had the exact same ingredients just described in a different order, moreover, none of them sounded appetizing, just boring. I ended up getting a grilled chicken entree that was topped with spinach and mozzarella cheese. I got to choose a side and went with a garden salad. The balsamic dressing was good and the dish as a whole was pretty tasty. Everyone else at the table got the Antonio and didn't stop raving about it the entire time. The best roll in Buffalo, they said. The server was nice and attentive. Overall my experiences here have been decent. I prefer the downstairs because you feel sort of feel away from everyone upstairs. Downstairs there's a lot of commotion, it's loud and there's lots of people to chit chat with and to watch. Today my friend found what looked like a black pubic hair in her spinach bread here, and they refused to apologize and refund the order, even after we showed them the hair that was clearly cooked into the bread. Not a fan!!! Stopped in with a group of four, there was plenty of seating on the main level but the hostess told us to go upstairs. So we did, no seating up there except a table of 6 and 4 pushed together. They did not want to split them so sent us back downstairs. Ordered pizza, Sausage,Onion and Green Peppers. TAKES FOREVER to come out. When it does, it has Sausage, Onion and Green Olives. We get the waitress and explain and she says they do not have Green Peppers. Shockingly, this proves to be true, they have 4 other pepper options on the menu but no Green Peppers. First off, what pizza place does not offer green peppers, second of all when we ordered, why didn't she tell us an and finally why did she substitute olives. Part of the problem, this waitress was one of those who thinks it impresses the guests to take the order without writing it down. I just want my food correct so go ahead an write it down. Then she almost argued with us about getting a new pizza. Said Manager would have to get involved etc. It finally worked out but we were there for hours to get one pizza. I surprise myself with this rating but bada Bing was great! We went there to watch the game and do a Sunday funday brunch and they did not disappoint. Service was fantastic even though the bar was packed. The drink deals were decent ( 2 for 1 mimosas and $14 buckets of beers) and the food was great. Highly HIGHLY recommend the steak and cheese pizza it was awesome. Overall it worked out great with good drinks and good food and plenty of TVs and we walked out of there with a very reasonable bill! GREAT place to visit for later evening drinks and food. Drove in from the floods in NC to visit friends. Stayed at the Hyatt and just happened upon Bada Bing. Sweetest server named Gabby welcomed us with a smile and genuine interest. Ordered wings that were plump, crispy and made to order. No fatty flavor and perfect medium buffalo wing sauce. We do not have this anywhere in our town! Then, the perfect pizza. Thin crust with tons of pepperoni on each slice. Still steaming with cheese plentiful. Actually most impressed I was able to get a bottle of Sterling Cabernet as I'm not a beer drinker. Gabby packaged up our leftovers after making regular checks on us with that friendly smile. Tonight we drove to bada bing because we had heard the beef is good. They were so unbelievably slow (averaging one car every 6 minutes), but we waited in the line of cars for about 35 minutes. When we got to the order kiosk, at this point locked in by cars in front and back, the guy comes on and says "it's going to be another 45 minute wait, are you ok with that?" With only 3 cars in front of me, I ask "another 45 from here?" He says "yes, you should see how many orders we have in here". Yes, These folks are simply GREAT!! I still think the red sauce is really the best consistently, but the only thing better than the food is the people. I am often amazed (being a transplanted CNY er) by the care and effort that is put forth by the folks here. This one though, is really 5 star. Our waitress (Karyln) treats us as family and when something (my girlfriend's eggplant dish) was just a bit too "rich" for her, the chef actually took the time to come up to our table to take note of the issue and an "over the top" accommodation of their excellent meatballs (also really great!) and sauce to our amazement. I went to Bada Bing at Buffalo, NY on Aug 23rd night and the service was excellent. Since I travel for consulting alone, I prefer to sit in the bar than the table. No tab, No cash. Simply had a drink and food then left happy. For a good service, I always put 15% tip. Today (Aug 26, between 7 and 7:45 PM), I went again and never know a strange discriminating experience will wait for me. The bartender wanted to start a tab and took my credit card. Usually they swipe the card then give the card back in every bar (at least from my experience) but here she was keeping the card at the cash register. WOW! When asked about holding the card at cash register, she told me that they have different rules for week days (LIE -1)! She also told me that if I leave without paying, then it will be a loss. Later, I started watching other customers. A young white gentleman came and sat next to me. He paid for his beer by cash but not for the food. He offered to pay for the food and she said that it's OK. Other few white men on the other side of the bar paid the cash later. Don't they go without paying? She looked little upset because I asked why those customers don't pay cash in advance OR give their credit card. She told me that those customers came before she came into work. Now read "LIE-1" again at the third paragraph. I travel to USA for more than 15 years and never experienced this kind of 'discriminative service' at any restaurant. In fact, I wrote the same comment at the bill then left. I recommend Bada Bing at Buffalo, NY should put this sign board at their front door "If you are a colored person, you should keep your cash at the table before eat the food.
