Heaters inside & campfires outside for extra warmth are a plus too. Would love to come back for the night vibes! Cocktails & shots on the menu! The explanation given that the system "couldn't handle the wind" is deeply concerning. If awnings advertised and installed for cold weather cannot be safely used in windy conditions, that is a serious operational and safety issue that should be addressed before guests are seated underneath them. Instead, customers were left exposed, freezing, and ignored. What made this worse was not the weather, but the complete lack of accountability or alternative solutions. No effort to relocate guests, no escalation to management, just repeated refusal. This reflects poor planning and even worse customer care. Management should take this seriously. I would expect someone to reach out, because this experience alone is enough to keep us and others from returning.

Yum. Yum yum yum yum YUM YUM YUM…read more Okay, a few more details: Bite My Biscuit (BMB) made the trek to Lewisville to grace us with their presence at Witherspoon Distillery, and I'm glad they did! But boy, did they walk into a situation that really required 2 to 3 food trucks, and they were the only one... The line was long and the wait was longer, but I can't really fault them for that. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

The chicken taco was actually better than the beef and I would've got two of those instead of two beef. Service was nice. She warned us about the spice of the red sauce and tried to give us the mild green one. We did try the sauce the other day with the nachos so we were fine. Ambiance is food truck. Hot if you go during a hot summer day. Cooler when you go on a warm summer night.

Their prices are pretty typical for a food truck - I'm happy to pay a little more than I would at a fast-casual or chain place to support a local business run by great people. I've posted pics of their menu from their online ordering site, which you can find here: https://easyeats.xyz/menu/f/ind/fid/487/ What is really awesome about them is their homemade salsas! The have 4 salsa verdes (although the spicy might be red?) to choose from for your order, no spice, mild, medium & hot. I stick with no spice and mild (both have incredible flavor) - the medium is too hot for this güera it was definitely tasty though, but I'm gonna stick to things with a little less burn haha. Try one or all of them with your order, they're happy to give you all you want (within reason, of course!) I personally love getting the steak quesadilla ($10.50) and a carnitas taco ($3). Lime, onions & cilantro come with tacos. Jalapeños, onions & cilantro with other entrees, but you can let them know to remove any if you don't want it. Find their Facebook page to keep up with where they are at! They come to my neighborhood about once a month on a weekday, which I love! So why 4 stars instead of 5? For food trucks, I'd give it 4.5 stars, only because I wish they had a one or two more meat options, and I don't like that they do their nachos on those circular yellow chips that come in giant bags, because my go-to thing to try would be nachos, but I just hate those kinds of chips. And of course, because it's a food truck and their expenses are higher, your dollar doesn't get you as much as you could at a chain or fast-casual concept. So that's not something I could justify spending on too regularly, but happy to do it once a month I see them nearby, because it definitely hits the spot and being a small business is tough and being in the restaurant/food industry makes that tougher. So go support them when they're nearby you soon!
