The damaged tree is hanging by a thread, and it can kill someone if it falls. They came out and did an estimate on the wrong tree (the neighbor's tree that was already on the ground). Errors happen, as we are all human. I quickly called and emailed them, asking them to please correct their error. They claimed that I had said something about "a tree on the ground" in my initial discussion. This was not the case. They did not reply for an entire week, until finally sending me an email saying that the "schedule is full for the season" and they won't be able to do this work. So, they gave an estimate, but when they realized they made an error, they no longer wanted the job. Not a great look. I'm very frustrated, as I was hoping to establish a longterm business relationship with them for landscaping services. Bummer. Don't bother calling them.

An estimator came out and a contract was sent via email. I sent an email to the estimator and the office if a tree could be substituted for 2 of the shrubs. Did not hear back from the estimator, but the office informed me : "Thank you for reaching out. At this time, we will not be moving forward on this project because our schedule is fully booked." When I inquired as to why they sent out an estimator and a contract but did not intend to complete the job, this was the response :" The decision was made after evaluating the project and determining that it was a bit small scale for our team." So unless you need a complete rehaul of your outdoor space, I would not waste your time, and apparently, theirs, by contacting this group. Todd came out and evaluated the situation within a week and gave me a fair quote. Once I accepted the quote, Todd said they could fit me in two days later if that worked for me. They said they would arrive late morning, no later than 12 noon and they were right on time at 10:30 AM. Todd was there along with a crew of three other guys which included A bucket truck which they did not need, a dump truck with a chipper on the back and a third truck towing a trailer which had a small gator type vehicle with a giant grasping metal hand on the end. One guy worked with a gator type vehicle to pull up three big bushes I wanted removed while the other two guys went to work on the big blue spruce and quickly brought it down safely and dismantled it and shredded it in less than an hour Everyone on the team was super pleasant, and they really did a great job cleaning up all the dust, wood chips and debris before they departed. Lamplears excuse is that the wall only had a two year guarantee which is ridiculous for this type of work. That was never indicated on their proposal or invoice. Other contractors are already quoting me a 5-10 year guarantee on a new wall in writing. Goes to show you what Lamplears thinks of its own work when it wont back up this after only two years. Dont trust what they tell you. The pictures tell the story. Stay away or you likely will have to pay someone else to clean up their mess.
