Yes their prices are high but if you search you can find very good bargains,but you have to look on more than one visit. Best place in the area for houseplants! The store is way over priced and their landscaping service is terrible. They had so many foreign visa workers on their past crews. That now that they've been limited to the amount of visas they can get they have trouble finding enough folks to staff their landscape crews. I feel really bad for their foreign guest workers as they tend to walk and ride their bikes in dangerous conditions down State Rd. How bad does it have to be in their home countries that they risk their lives here for this work. read more

The service is generally great but this time when I went to return a plant that didn't survive the heat I wasn't provided the best answers. They told me that the plant died of overexposure to the sun. Also when I showed them a picture of the other plant which planted just next to it, they said it had been overwatered. They are expensive plants and I expected better service and not reprimanded for not taking care of the plants. Btw they did replace my dead plant which was under warranty. read more

David and his crew worked extremely hard and did phenomenal job completing landscaping in my front and side beds. They were professional and great with communication. Suncrest drivers are very, very rude. He was driving very aggressively on Akron-Peninsula rd coming southbound. Yes, my lane ended but there was a semi in front of me. Suncrest driver proceeds to run me off the road to try and pass semi. He fails at passing semi while pushing me off the road for no reason. read more

Be Careful ! Lawn Service provider that doesn't know when or how to trim flowering bushes... Thank you for cutting 99% of my flowering bushes back and getting rid of those pesky flowering buds. I am really looking forward to a late summer and early fall of no flowers on our bushes ! Feel free to use these guys, just don't expect your hydrangeas to have flowers on them. read more

I purchased 4 hanging baskets. Within a few weeks they all died, despite my careful care for them. I suspected it was a fungus. They gave me a very hard time when I asked for a replacement. The whole experience was challenging. They finally replaced the hanging baskets but they still charged me a portion of the cost. I have been shopping there for over 15 years and they do not know how to take care of the customer. read more

I was in heaven when I found this place! I had just moved to the area and so sad when I left my other nursery but this place is even better. What a huge variety of plants. The gift shop is huge and filled with my favorite items. I love going to the nursery. They also have a huge variety of flower pots and great sales. I needed some help selecting plants for the roughly 600 sqft of bed space I recently refinished. After being lectured on how I'm completely naive when it comes to selecting plants I knew I wasn't gonna spend a dime there...Yeah, I don't know anything about selecting plants. We pay $500 a month for less than an acre and they do NOTHING! Our yard is full of weeds, they have not done anything to maintain the beds and their customer service and communication is non existent. Not customer service oriented, over priced, poor design quality & unwilling to work with customers per complaints per design, delivery of service / mats... Convenient for them... Not the customer. Would never recommend for anything. Manager rude to customer w no apology... Interrupted me while discussing my complaints & when i asked to finish my thoughts ... his answer was "NO". Transplants left out n hot dry weather a week prior to transplanting wo giving customer necessary info on watering...they died... & owner did not make good on calling back customer per complaints. Said he'd call back n a short time period to resolve problem ... That was 9 mos ago... No call back. Staff did a good job on edging & spring clean up... Only positive thing to say about them. They have an extensive selection of glazed ceramic pots, including 2" pots with attached saucers that are perfect for keeping small succulents on an indoor window ledge, and a variety of orchid and African violet pots. Their larger pots are also varied and fairly priced, and they have really huge saucers available too when you need to bring your larger plants inside for the winter. Their indoor tropical and succulent area is delightful to visit (I walk around it every time I come in to see what is growing), and they have many large jade plants and a good selection of dwarf citrus trees. I've seen a few healthy miniature and regular sized phalaenopsis there, but no other orchid genera. They have a great selection of indoor and garden accents and they insist on neatly wrapping my ceramics in paper for safe transport home. read more

My favorite nursery! The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and the plant selections are extraordinary.

Met with them on site to bid two projects totaling approximately $100,000. After being told it would be 2 weeks to get a bid I waited 4. Then was told I would have proposal within a few days, what I got was a "no bid". We are too busy with other projects to bid yours! Really, one project wasn't going to be needed for another 60 days and the other was 100 days out. Bet they won't be busy in 100 days. read more

The owner of this company is rude and out of touch with modern business practices. He placed an order at a trade show for which there was an optional sales incentive for pre-paying. Of course he wanted the best price, but when I went to run his credit card he asked if it would be charged right away, as if swiping the card through a point of sale reader would somehow process the transaction 6 months down the line when the order shipped. When I explained that the discount was for pre-paying and that he would be charged right away he initially cancelled the order and told me that nobody does business this way and that I didn't know how to run a business (at this point in the show I had already processed several transactions in the same manner with no complaints). After a while he came back and decided he would place the order but would take the option of a 5% discount for ordering at the show rather than a 12% discount for paying at the show. He signed the order sheet and took a free sample. When I called to let him know his order was ready over a month ahead of the agreed ship date and that I'd be happy to ship it whenever he wanted to pay for the product and shipping he claimed that he had never placed the order. Why would he, being the self-proclaimed master of business that he put himself out there as, leave a signed order with a company if he was cancelling said order on the spot? Why would I waste my time and money putting together an order if it was cancelled? Why would I even hang onto the signed copy if it was a cancelled order? I will never allow him or anyone working for him to place an order with my company again. This is the first time I've taken the time to write a review on here and I'm doing so because I strongly believe that when a retail customer walks into a place of business they should know what kind of people will be profiting from their patronage. I also would have given a 0 star rating if it were possible. read more
