The toffee colored roses looked like they were dying even before she got them. I live in Illinois and had to order sight unseen. Not thrilled especially due to the high price I paid. I have to amend my review. David from Red Twig called me and apologized for the arrangement not being what was expected. He was willing to refund my money or replace the bouquet at no additional charge. I really appreciate this action and the fact he was willing to replace this arrangement. I absolutely loved working with The Red Twig team for my wedding! I went into our initial meeting with nothing but some photos I found on Pinterest and my wedding colors, and they took the time to figure out exactly what I loved about each Pinterest photo and produced the most perfect bouquets and boutonnieres. I actually teared up when I saw them for the first time on my wedding day. After using them for a small, work flower arrangement I started following the business on Facebook. I like the timely updates and images. Just prior to Christmas last year I saw a post that had me jump in the car and visit their Hudson store for the first time. Lovely, open area that reads like a minimalists art gallery rather than just a store. I found exactly what I came in for and promised a few pieces I'd be back in 2019 for them. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle for my wedding a month ago. I essentially gave her the image of the bouquet I wanted and asked her to use her professional judgement on the rest of the wedding. And boy, did she blow everyone away! BE AWARE! If you are not planning on doing a FULL florist service, ceremony and reception, that is at LEAST $3,000 preferably more... than the owner told us to our face that we were NOT WORTH HER TIME. She later tried to say that she refused because their contract does not allow them to compete with other florists. What was our "other florist" you may ask?? Fake flowers we bought at hobby lobby for our center pieces!!!! Seriously?!?! How petty can you be??? This was after she picked the time of 3pm for our meeting and then completely forgot! We showed up at HER SCHEDULED TIME and were met with attitude that we were interupting her Floral arrangement time. Poor customer service, poor organization, and unless wedding is fancy fancy with high numbers of $$$$$ being spent, she treats you like a unwanted peasant folk. HORRIBLE!!! read more

Wow Michelle at The Red Twig is absolutely amazing. She nailed my vision for my wedding. Everyone was blown away by her designs. My bouquet was art deco. The flower girls had flower crowns made out of sage. Everyone thought it was a whimsical feel. Exactly like I wanted. When I walked into our reception I was in shock. The tables were perfect everything blended great. I had nothing but positive reviews from my guest at how my theme was perfectly executed. The thing I was the most excited about for my wedding, (other than marrying my husband, of course) were our flowers and the design of the two ballrooms at the Tudor Arms Hotel. When I met Michelle, I had a very clear idea of what I wanted, but not a clue how it could be executed. A true artist, she took my rambling words and random mishmosh of photos, along with our love of Colonial Williamsburg, Magnolia leaves and Harry Potter, and created breathtakingly beautiful, unique bouquets, boutonnières, arrangements and centerpieces using a variety of flowers, fruit, greenery, veggies, lanterns, candelabras, votives, etc. I received so many compliments the night of our wedding on our decor and am still getting feedback on it!
