BF and I stopped by here on a whim and so glad we did! What a chic, organized, beauty little shop! The aesthetic is totally cottage core/greenery/upscale and I love it. The artsy matchbox section completely got me and I had fun picking out some to add to my collection. Worker there was very friendly and the atmosphere was just so cool! Would love to come back if I'm in the area. read more

Phenomenal floral and gift shop! Matthew, the owner, and his team are incredibly personable and truly talented. It's no surprise they've already opened a second location--this place is something special. I've purchased plants and even taken one of their floral arrangement classes, and every experience has been wonderful. Highly recommend supporting this standout local business. Thank you to the whole team! read more

They did small vases of flowers for my daughter's bridal shower. The vases were sat placed each place setting and were the party favors, they were exquisite, perfect, lovely, charming all the adjectives!!! And two more center pieces for other areas of the venue, stunning! Could not have been more pleased. Cannot wait to see what they do for the wedding. read more

Super cute and insanely well decorated; felt like I was walking into a fairy forest. Had a good selection of healthy plants, cute trinkets, and other gifts. It's a bit expensive, a tad too much for me to visit again. I did leave with a plant, though, so it wasn't enough to stop me. read more

A co worker told me about this cool little spot in the Akron area. Being new I still didn't know much about the city. I was welcomed into the store by their amazing staff. The store was beautiful, I almost forgot I was in Ohio! The store was filled with plants and flowers two of my favorite things. I can't wait to be back, I bought a cute little plant and a funny card. read more

I'm in Florida, & ordered flowers for my boss to be delivered to a colleague in Akron for the holidays. I ordered from Leaf on the recommendation of a friend, and due to the shop's great online reviews. The staff took the time to listen to the particulars of my request. We reviewed the arrangements on their website together, and came up with a plan for a 'Designer's Choice' arrangement, with a few suggestions. The care and expertise was readily apparent during the conversation. The flowers were delivered on time, and the recipient was thrilled. There is always a concern when ordering online & not knowing who to trust to create a suitable arrangement. Leaf did a great job with the order, even given the rush of the holidays and working during a global pandemic. You can rely on them to do a great job with your floral order. read more

Usually the plants I buy from leaf are healthy and happy, even though they're ridiculously overpriced. This time I am absolutely appalled. I bought a sansevieria, and when I got home, put it on my desk. Later that day I found it spilled on the floor. When I picked it up I realized it was just a plant that had been cut at the base and plopped haphazardly on some dirt. No roots, just cut at the base and balanced in a way too small pot. The pic I included is after repotting in well draining soul, giving it some rooting hormone, and setting it in a sunny, but not too sunny part of the room. Still no growth, not dying but no growth. Honestly guys??? This plant was botched. There are So many better places to get healthier plants at a better price. read more

Leaf - The root on the sansevieria. As you can see it was chopped off, in the pot it wasn't even buried, just plopped on top. - Florists Near Me - Akron, Ohio

A few months ago I ordered an arrangement over the phone as I have before. I had high expectations from previous experiences but when I got there to pick up the flowers they were good but not great and certainly below previous deliveries. However, I was most offended by the line asking for a tip. Are you for real? They lost a customer then and there. Wonder if it is new owners. read more

A dear friend's mother passed and I wanted to send a live plant. I'm in Miami so I looked online for a local florist. Unfortunately they dropped the ball BIGLY and a local friend recommended LEAF. I called instead of online and it was answered on the first ring. Chris was WONDERFUL and whipped up what I wanted, emailed me a photo in less than an hour! I cannot say enough about their customer service!!!! I would recommend them in a heartbeat. read more

Matthew goes above and beyond to provide beautiful flowers. A friend needed a bloom for his mother's funeral, and Matthew donated his personal flowers to provide a beautiful bouquet in a short time. Extremely happy. You will be also read more

WOW! This is all I can say about this FANTASTIC floral shop. I needed a funeral arrangement but didn't want just the same old same old. I explained all the various aspects of the man's life & how much he meant to our family. I also provided some choices in flowers & left the rest to him. He created a perfect bouquet which totally captured this special man's personality. The arrangement was established on a circle slice of a tree. (He didn't know the property the man lived on was full of trees.) Then he added some tools because I told him how handy he was. Finally he designed a beautiful arrangement with all of the flowers we discussed. I asked him to send me a picture to share with my daughters & he did. I added them in the photo section. WOW WOW WOW! Thank you for helping me provide a special arrangement to the family of a very special man. read more

I went with Every Blooming Thing for my wedding flowers based off solid recommendations from friends. Scott did a fantastic job working with me to create the image in my head, but was also up front about budget the entire time. I wanted a wildflower look but did not have many specifics down, but Scott patiently sat with me, my fiance, and even my roommate to come up with the perfect wedding flowers. I could not be more pleased with the result. They were beautiful. Easiest vendor we worked with by far! You won't regret going with him. read more

I will preface this by saying that I work in a profession where I see various floral arrangements throughout my day. There are plenty of great florists in the Akron area, but Every Blooming Thing consistently puts out unique and gorgeous creations. Unlike some of the other florists in the area, they don't have "signature" pieces that they routinely send out. I truly appreciate the fact that EBT puts together really unique pieces that just seem to "fit" each individual person or occasion. Unfortunately, I needed them for a rather sad event in my life recently and as I walked into the shop I just started crying. These guys dropped everything and took the time to listen to what I wanted, pulled out some flowers from the back, threw out some ideas, and helped me figure out just exactly what I wanted/needed. The bouquet they ended up arranging for me was perfect and my family got so many comments on it. It gave me the smallest amount of peace and comfort in such a heartbreaking time. I truly cannot say enough good things about these guys, their skills, or their flowers! read more

Chris was incredible with helping us pick the perfect plants for our family members for holiday gifts. He explained the types of plants that would thrive best given where the plants would be. he even re-potted the plants for us so they were ready to gift. Every Blooming Thing did my wedding flowers in September of 2016. I originally met with Scott and was sold on how well he seemed to understand my vision. A few month before our wedding, the shop changed ownership. The new owner was very kind but overall less professional than Scott. I sent Matthew (the new owner) several emails detailing what I wanted and where the flowers should be. I sent him pictures of the bouquets that inspired me and the mock bouquets that Scott has made. He was difficult to get a hold of and I ended up making a couple more meetings with him before the big day because I was feeling so uncomfortable. On the day of the wedding, the flowers were not what I had ordered. He had ignored size requests, color requests, and the type of arrangements I wanted. We had a table to honor deceased members of our family which he put a few rings of leaves on. It really wasn't the tribute I'd imagined. I had sent him pictures of beautiful plum bouquets and on the day of he provided me with predominantly white bouquets with fuschia flowers. The flowers did not match any of the other decor at our wedding. We were using Fall colors and Matthew made bouquets of summer colors. The arrangements were beautiful but simply weren't what we wanted. When I contacted Matthew to discuss my disappointment, he was argumentative and refused to admit wrong doing. He did end up giving us a very small refund for obvious mistakes. Wedding planning is extremely stressful. I trusted all of my vendors to "have my back" and make sure we were on the same page. Every Blooming Thing was the only vendor that let me down. read more

I currently live in Baltimore and wanted to send my grandmother flowers for Mothers Day in Akron. I called the day before and had same day delivery. I cant possibly say enough good things about Scott and his wonderful shop. I first used him as a wedding planner for a few of my brides. They were always more than pleased with his work. Then I got to use him for my own wedding, and I still look at my pictures of my wedding and am blown away by the beauty of his work. His prices are more than reasonable, and for the quality, he cant be beat. He will work with any and all budgets, to make your dream a floral reality. I recently moved out of state, but still encourage all akron-area customers to go to him, I'm only sad that I cant use him :) read more

Earlier this month, a good friend bought us a hand bouquet from this florist. The flowers were beautiful, with several nice varieties of blooms and greens. One of my favorite little shops in the whole city. Scott, the florist, is a delight! I'm always amazed at how long one of his bouquets/arrangements last!! Weeks! Scott is a thoughtful and talented florist. He helped us with an ongoing gift for my grandmother, and always brightened her day with his arrangements. He was kind enough to share photos with those of us who live farther away so we could see what she was getting. I would highly recommend this florist to anyone! read more

Best gift and flower shop in the area. Matt is an exceptionally talented floral artist. Highly recommend for special occasions.

By far the Best customer service I have ever received from a floral shop. Matthew was a delight to talk too and full of creative floral arrangement ideas and options. I called from Los Angeles to order a same day birthday floral arrangements for my mother - I wanted lavender roses. Matthew shared with me that he expected to receive lavender roses in the daily delivery, which had not arrived at the time of my call. He offered to telephone me when the delivery arrived. What I really appreciated and enjoyed about Matthew's customer service was his suggesting other flowers with purple hues that could be a wonderful option should the delivery not include the lavender roses. Couple of hours later Matthew called with good news - lavender roses had arrived in the daily delivery! I decided to go with lavender roses combined with the other flowers Matthew had recommend with purple hues. The flowers were delivered the same day and Matthew even texted me a photo of the arrangement - gorgeous!!! read more
