    Plant pronouns!
    Rachel D.

Amazing local flower shop in Akron, Ohio! The staff are very knowledgeable on flowers and plants and willing to answer any of your questions. Amanda and Dustin were working when I visited and they made me feel so welcomed and invited. I love how inclusive the show is, where even the plants have pronouns!

Decent selection for the size of the shop. A welcomed addition to Northside Marketplace. Excited to see how they settle into their new spot.

First of all, let me start off saying that I have been going to Graf's for over 20 years and…read morealthough I have always thought that they were on the more pricey side, they had a nice selection, and the staff was always friendly. Unfortunately, this year I've had to make two separate trips to exchange 3 dead flowers. And as I'm writing this, all 4 of my black petunias that I also purchased have now died. On the morning that my husband and I went, we were the first ones there and as an experienced gardener, I noticed that the flowers were severely overwatered. I should've listened to my gut and not shopped that day. But we did and when we came home to plant our close to $200 worth of flowers we were very concerned about the condition of the flowers in the fact that my husband had to ring out most of them! This kind of overwatering is expected at places like Home Depot and Lowe's but not at a garden center full of supposed gardeners! I am not able to make a third trip anytime soon to exchange my 4 dead black petunias so now I am out about $25 dollars! All 8 flowers that died have all died within seven days!!! On my first trip to exchange the first 2 dead flowers, I was third in line to exchange dead flowers!! The staff called an older gentleman out to approve the exchange, and he looked at the flowers and said "it looks like we overwatered our flowers". You think? Do better Graf's!!

Everything went well very helpful and polite I had them going all over the place very helpfulread more

We recently purchased a GE Refrigerator/Freezer from Home Depot (4066 Medina Rd, Fairlawn, OH…read more44333) which came with Free Delivery and Installation. Delivery and Installation was a joke. All that was done was to carry the appliance into the house and plug it in. The refrigerator was brought in as it was shipped by the manufacturer. This means that they did not install handles or shelving which was shoved inside the refrigerator in boxes. They would not install the water line because our shut off valve was not immediately behind the refrigerator. We called a plumber out and he thought this was crazy because we had a setup with a shutoff valve right below the refrigerator in the basement which he indicated was to code. He advised doing nothing and we should simply hook the waterline into the new refrigerator ourselves. The 4 refrigerator doors were totally covered with a blue protective film which was also tucked into the seams so it could not be removed cleanly. When I asked the delivery man about the protective film, his response was "do you expect me to spend my day peeling this off". My wife and I spent hours over 2 days trying to remove the film but are still left with blue film around the edges which we can't get totally out. If you look at the Home Depot website, they have a picture of delivery men carrying in a refrigerator very similar to ours that that has handles installed and no protective film on the appliance - FALSE ADVERTISING! We will never return to Home Depot again.

Plant Lily opened in June 2025 so they will soon celebrate their one year anniversary. I visited during a weekday evening in early May 2026. I came for a Yelp event but I bought a plant. I bought a Peace Lily plant which is a houseplant that can be taken care of easily. The owner and the store associate were helpful in explaining the different types of plants and how to care for them. I spent about 25 minutes in the store. I liked that the store sells plant pots and bottle sprays. The store is small but there are plenty of plants to choose from of varying sizes. If you enjoy having plants, stop on in. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 67/250 total reviews in 2026 - 908 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 4 May 2026

It will be celebrating one year in business this June and I am wishing it many more years of success! First of all, it smells fantastic in the shop. All the plants are well taken care of and there's a big diversity of offerings here - no matter your lifestyle, you can find a plant for you in this shop. And of course, there's also plant-themed merch here as well, like plant momma/daddy hats, stickers, keychains, etc. The prices are very reasonable as well. I picked up a lovely, pre-potted plant for my mom for less than $20 with a 20% discount I had! I am a plant murderer, but my sweet mother is not. I will definitely be popping into Peace Lily for more of my future plant gifts to friends and family in the future!
