He works with the client in reviewing the plan, and adjusts the plan based on the feedback of the client. The crew works to the drawing to bring to life the landscaping design. I hired Mark from Ohio State Landscaping to provide and install a limestone wall (out of an Oklahoma quarry). The owner Mark is very knowledgeable as an arborist with a degree from Ohio State. Their workers were not only professional & kind, they were each proud of the work they were creating (they placed each and every piece as though they were artists!) Some items came up almost 6 months later and had no issue coming out to correct and add to project at no cost! My front yard looks like something out of home & garden magazine! Got a quote from Mark in March at which time he said it would be three to four weeks. I called a minimum of twenty times and left messages and when they did return my calls very few times just got excuses. Mark called on June 26th and said they would be out this week no show. No call. Continue excuses. Very poor customer relations. I would not recommend this company for any work. read more

Wow!! Another GREAT EXPERIENCE, OSL did it again!!! We have had them trim our shrubs for many years, and there's a reason for that. Top notch job, reasonably priced, courteous and mannered employees . Did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves, you couldn't even tell they where there. Mark and his team are responsive. Not only do they have great ideas but they will work with the home owner with designing a multi year plan if necessary. They were always on time, and the 1 or 2 times that they were delayed (due to weather), Mark and Ramona were proactive in keeping me updated with the project's status. From the moment I first called Ohio State Landscaping, Ramona was very friendly and wanted to give me the best possible service. When Mark came out, I was interested in some kind of patio with stone? Mark assessed the yard and told me that I have 3 different patios and gave me the idea of a putting green with stones around it. I fell in love with his idea completely. When Al and the crew came out, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about landscaping and had ideas for my yard. My job was supposed to take 3 days but they finished in a day and a half! got a quote in April For the spring clean up special. He said they would start in June- which I was not very happy about to begin with since June is summer not spring but then I called June 1st said they would not be able to start until late June possibly July depending on "weather". This is unacceptable to promote a spring Clean up and not get it done until end of June/July. Do not promote a special if you cannot fulfil the Request. We had this guy come out for a quote for a large project in our yard. We agreed to the project and he first said he would come in May. Then said it was too wet. Then he said July. Then he said it was too dry. We finally got ahold of him the company said we were on the schedule and gave us a date. He never showed or called. This cycle repeated of him giving dates and never showing or calling. I can't actually comment on his work because he never actually did anything for us. Now our project is undone and we are looking for a new landscaper. read more

Ohio State Landscaping did a fine job in revitalizing our front yard flower beds. In the planning stage, Mark, the owner, recommended various flowers, shrubs, etc.and drew up a plan. He was very good to work with at that point. The job started a month later than promised, but it was completed in November, 2016. According to the contract, the flowers/shrubs are guaranteed for one year. I called the office in the spring to report a plant had died ... after a couple weeks, it was replaced. In June, I called to report that I lost 2 more plants. It is November, I'm still waiting for the replacements. After numerous calls to the office, and even a personal call to Mark, nothing has been done. It was either, too hot, too cold, too much rain, back log of jobs and so on ... so many empty promises ... I'm very disappointed that this has not been handled in a timely manner. This has not been a good experience. I would not recommend Ohio State Landscaping. read more
