Caesar salad dressing was one of my faves of all time. Parm fries were a hit. My kid loved choosing the burger toppings, condiments, and bun( brioche won) out of sourdough, rye, wheat, lettuce, or gluten free) and toppings. The toppings list was fun to review. We got a kick out of mac and cheese and peanut butter being options. Ive never seen so many cheese options for a cheeseburger! Even blue cheese crumbles, and smoked gouda! They had it all. BD's has become one of my favorite burger joints in the triangle, it's at least in the Top 2. I find the quality to be pretty consistent regardless of what location I visit. This was my first visit at this one; we took two seats at the bar in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. Both the dining room and bar were still quite crowded. It took a little time for the bartender to clean the bar area, but we took our seats once that was taken care of. The bacon cheeseburger on steroids is not to be missed, especially if you're depressed. Da burger, three pieces of jalapeño bacon, three pieces of smoked bacon, Monterey Jack, bacon mayo, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion & pickles. The only thing missing...the angels singing in the background. And don't overlook the Emilio's chicken sandwich, it's a gem. A crispy fried chicken breast topped with fresh mozz, jalapeño bacon, poblano mayo, guacamole, shredded iceberg, tomato & red onion (just need pickles on the side!). The fries are hand-cut, always a major positive. I do wish they had honey mustard for dipping purposes. But the BDs sauce is still fine. We have been to this location monthly over the last 4 months and, unfortunately, the service has gotten worse at every visit. Last night was by far the slowest and least attentive one yet. They weee not busy at all and we still needed to ask for staff to be sent to our table for ordering, orders took forever to arrive at our table and staff was not attentive. Not sure what has caused the service to negatively change so much recently yet has def made us rethink our visiting in the future. read more

Normally this place has great food and great service. Unfortunately today was not so great. The food was still fine but the service was a bit under par from what we have come to expect. Are drinks ran out early and often and the wait to get someone to take care of them was far too long. We sat on the patio perhaps it was the out of sight out of mind issue. I'm not sure I just know it wasn't very pleasant to keep running out of drinks. This place is a bit proud and they're pricing shows it but it's okay. The only burger chain that treats each burger like a steakhouse treats each steak, while exploiting the broadly untapped toppings pool for such a sandwich. Friendly staff, good food, low noise! I recently visited on a work trip to Raleigh. I had a burger with a lettuce bun and their deviled eggs. The deviled eggs tasted great, with a kick from the peppers on top and the burger was exceptional, apart from how moist the patty was! I really should have had them overcook it to reduce the amount of liquid that poured out, over the lettuce and on to my plate. I don't blame them for that as usually that liquid would have hit the bread bun and quickly absorbed. I look forward to returning on future visits to Raleigh. read more

We were greeted with a smile and led to a table where Service was on the slow side, but boy the food was good! Love that the menu has healthy options as well as going all out bad. I tried Stella's Greek Salad this time and it was fantastic. And HUGE. I got two meals out of it. Husband really enjoyed his burger and always loves their tater tots with bad daddy sauce. I've been a few times and was surprised I hadn't reviewed yet. The burgers are great. I got the new Heat Wave. There was a good spice to it, but not spicy enough to run off someone who likes just a little heat... but not too much it was a really good flavor. Burgers are on the higher side, but not terrible. The Tuffle fries were amazing, and this salt-a-holic didn't need to add more salt... and the garlic... yum! We also got the fried cheese, and it was stringy gooey goodness, and the marinara appeared homemade looking at the chunkiness. The alcoholic beverages were very reasonably priced, which was a refreshing change. The Chunky Elvis shake is a must-have if you like peanut butter and chocolate. Took a while for our order to arrive (30 min) and immediately I noticed bacon on mine. Being vegetarian, I asked for the waitress to have it remade, and she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. My friends were almost finished eating and my burger still hadn't arrived (it had been around 30 more minutes) so we flagged down a waitress who was incredibly rude and told us to wait patiently. When my food finally arrived, it was cold and obvious that it was made a while ago and was just sitting around. The burger was decent, could've been better if it was hot. Same with the fries. The cookies and cream shake was great. This terrible experience was made better Jessica, who finally offered a genuine apology. She was kind and understanding and brought us shakes right away. The chips & homemade french onion dip were good, I enjoyed the crispy chips & the thick sauce. We also got the buffalo wings which were good too! The star was really their house made ranch and bleu cheese both were so good!!! I got the sliders and they were good, I'd say like a 3.5/5, a good burger but nothing too standout to me. The Service was terrible on Valentine's Day 2026 and the restaurant was not crowded at 5:30PM. No one checked on us for 55 minutes. The drinks showed up 57 minutes later. The manager came over and asked if we had a server. We said we had two different servers and we have had a long wait for the food. The food showed up one hour an thirty minutes later ( Yes, 1 Hour 30 minutes). The wrong burger was brought to the table and we let the manager know it was incorrect but at this point, were so hungry we kept the burger, ate and paid the bill and we left. Been to Bad Daddy's a couple times now and I love their veggie burgers! The black bean burger always tastes good and with a side of tots is heavenly. I love their selection of sauces you can add to the burger or as a side to dip the tots in. Be prepared to be very full afterwards. As a vegetarian I like to customize my own burger and I have always felt like there are lots of different combinations. Atmosphere is pretty nice as well. Our waitress was also awesome and friendly. I will say the bathroom was pretty dirty and the only thing I would change about this location. Overall, great place for burgers and would recommend getting a burger here. Service is very friendly and attentive. Food is mediocre and lacking attention to deal by kitchen staff. My wife and I started with the wings and "chopped(lol)" Greek salad. The wings were good and the cropped salad had massive pieces of lettuce which made me laugh as they called it chopped...haha! The burger was a good portion but the kitchen did not use any salt & pepper along with leaving off the cheddar cheese I ordered and should let some grease drain off before placing on the bun...unfortunately by the time they added the cheese they had forgotten, the bun was soaked through and nasty. It's an easy fix, just put the burger on a wire baking rack for 15/30 seconds while the bun toasts and your back in business with a much better product for customers. All in all I've had worst but also much better. If you don't drain the grease then at minimum toast the bun so it can stand up through the actual consumption portion of the meal. A little fine tuning in execution and the place could be a whole lot better. If the menu states "cropped" please make everything chopped and not just the onion and tomato...smh! read more
